My Memorial day weekend 2023

Hello, my bucket list, friends! I’m excited to write this post because summer is very close to being here! I know I’ve been saying that for a while. However, my summer bucket list game kicks off on June 1st, aka Thursday! However, before I can move on to that, I have to wrap up the month of May, and that includes writing about this weekend, so let’s get to it. Oh, and one more thing. Since it was Memorial Day weekend, I have included Monday in this post instead of Friday. You can find my post where I talk about what I did on Friday HERE.

Saturday – I worked the closing shift on this day. However, my day got off to an early start. I started my day by going with my parents to drop off my dad’s truck at the tire shop. After dropping off his truck, we went on some errands. The first errand was the hardware store. One thing that I love about the hardware store is that they have a toy section. I got two plastic sea animals in the toy section, and I also got a squishy toy that was up by the register. Our errands also included a stop at Starbucks and a stop at Whole Foods. At whole foods, I got two boxes of my favorite fruit snacks. ( The ones that come with trading cards) After finishing our errands, I went back home for a while before going into work for the closing shift. It was a good day at work. In case I have not said it lately, I love working at a plant store!

Sunday – I had this day off, so I started the day with coffee and church. Church was good as always. Later, we had to go pick up the truck, but before that, we went to lunch at a Mexican restaurant. I got the same thing that I almost always get there, and that is veggie burrito. It was really good as always. After getting the truck, we went to my cousin’s house. I want to make a better effort to spend more time with people. Life gets busy, but I want to make seeing people a bigger priority. Anyways, at her house we went in the hot tub. It was good to be in the hot tub since it had been so long since I had been in a hot tub or pool. I had a good time with her and her family. Before going home, we made two stops, including Safeway. At Safeway, I got a Kinder Joy egg.

Monday – On this day, I worked the closing shift. It was Memorial Day, which is a very important day on our calendar. The morning was really foggy, so I just stayed home and relaxed until it was time for me to go to work. Before going to work, I went to Starbucks, and I got an iced coffee. At work, I took some cute selfies with some really nice plants as the background. Memorial Day is considered in the unofficial kickoff to summer

My review of Warheads sour black cherry soda!

Hello, my bucket list, friends! It is time for another drink review! This time, I tried a sour black cherry soda from Warheads. This soda was pretty good. You could definitely taste the sourness, but it didn’t ruin the cherry flavor. The sour taste did stay in my mouth for a while after drinking, but it wasn’t bad. However, if you are not a fan of sour candy, I would stay away from this drink. On the other hand, if sour candy is one of your favorite things, you really should try this soda!

Some photos and highlights from this week!

It is no secret that I love taking pictures and writing about the fun little things in my everyday life. I thought it would be fun to share some pictures and things that I enjoyed this week. I’m also going to include Friday in this post since I will be including Monday in my next weekend post. Let’s get to it!

Monday – On this day, I worked the opening shift. I got to town early because sometimes it can be hard to get Uber to come to my house quickly. I went to the coffee shop like normal, but I decided that I did not want to wait there until my shift started. Even though I had not planned on it , I went to the thrift store. I was excited when I got to the thrift store, and I saw that there was a buy one get one free on stuffed animals. I got a Build a Bear and a TY Bennie Boo. They were priced at $5 each, so I got them both for only $5. I also got some books and a bag of erasers. After work, I went to Starbucks and went for a walk in the park. That evening, I went on a walk to go see my favorite ponies.

Tuesday – I worked the opening shift this day. Before work I went to the coffee shop and after work I went to the candy store. I was having a craving for chocolate. I got a bunch of chocolate from the bulk bins a, lollypop with a plastic mouth attached, and I also got a soda to do a review of. I have not tried the soda yet, but I plan to soon. I went to the park after work, and I took this really cute selfie on a swing. I ended up making it my profile picture for Facebook and Instagram.

Wednesday – I had this day off. I decided to focus on my writing. I published an article on Vocal Media ( You can read it HERE ). I also published my weekend blog post. ( You can read it HERE ) Other than that, I just stayed home and relaxed except for going on a walk to see my favorite ponies.

Thursday – On this day, I worked the closing shift. It was a normal day with coffee before work. Someone brought donuts to work, and that is all I have to say about Thursday.

Friday – On this day, I worked the opening shift my. My friend took me to work but before that we went to Starbucks. It was great to have coffee with a friend. It is always harder to see friends when everyone’s schedule is different. That was a wonderful way to start my day! My shift went well, and I went to the candy store afterward. I got a ring pop and another lollypop that has plastic lips attached. That evening, I went to Safeway, where I got two juices that have toys as part of the lid, and I also got cupcakes that come with rings. They only had the ones with rings in a large container, so I had some and took the rest to work.

Going on Walks , going to Savers , and getting coffee

Hello, my bucket list, friends! It is time for me to write another blog post about my weekend adventures! This weekend was pretty normal, but I did get to go to Savers. as much as I love going to my local thrift shop. I really love going to Savers because of the large selection they have. That was the main highlight of my weekend, but I did do some other things that I’m also excited to tell you about. Let’s get to it!

Friday – On this day, I worked the morning shift. Before going to work, I went to the nearby candy store to get the same thing that I had gotten the week before. A package that contains both chocolate and toys. It took me a little bit to decide which one I wanted to get since you can see one toy and the other two are concealed in chocolate. I decided to get the one that had a spotted lizard toy visible. I also got some vegan gummy bears while I was at the candy store. I also made my normal stop to the coffee shop before going to work. At work, I took some pictures of the gummy bears with some plants as the background. I really liked how the pictures turned out. After work, I got a smoothie. Later that day, I went on a walk, I loved the selfies that I took during our walk. After walking, I spent some time with my neighbors. It was a pretty great day.

Saturday – This day, I worked the closing shift. In the morning we went on another walk it was a good way to start the day. After our walk, my mom and I went to get coffee before taking my mom’s car to get worked on. We took my mom’s car to the dealership because it needed some maintenance. While the car was being worked on, we took an Uber to Savers. Savers was fairly close to where the car was, so it was a good place to go while we waited for the car to be ready. I was happy to see that the store was pretty well stocked. I got two Barbie dolls, a bag of toys that had some 101 Dalmatians toys and some other toy dogs in it, and a plush dog in the toy section. In the book section, I got some Full House books and some Mary-Kate and Ashley books. I also got a Lisa Frank coloring book. In addition to those items, I got some clothes and a My Little Pony Christmas ornament. After picking up the car, we went to Whole Foods, where I got a sandwich and other items, including my favorite fruit snacks that come with trading cards. After that I went to work and after work we went to a park to go on another walk. It was a good way to end a busy day out.

Sunday – On this day, I worked the morning shift, so I was not able to go to church. However, I did start my day with coffee and another walk. Then I went to work and after that we went on some errands. At Walgreens, I got two chocolate eggs that came with Hot Wheels cars, and at Safeway, I got another piece of chocolate that came with a toy. It was the same brand that I got on Friday. After our errands, we went on another walk, but we got to see my favorite ponies. It was a great way to end the weekend.

My Mother’s day weekend

Hello, my bucket list, friends! Once again, another weekend has gone by. Time seems to be getting faster and faster with every passing day. June is on the way and I’m so excited because I’m very ready for summer! I’m not upset that time is going by this fast because I’ve got some very fun plans coming up in June and July. Even though I don’t have any major plans this month, I did enjoy celebrating my mom on Sunday. Without any more delay, let’s get to the post about my weekend!

Friday – On this day, I worked the closing shift. I got dropped off early because I wanted to get my mom some gifts for Mother’s Day. I went to the candy store, and I got my mom a bar of dark chocolate, and I got myself a package that had both toys and candy inside. At a gift shop, I got some other gifts for my mom. I also got myself a craft kit where you color a pair of socks. When I was done shopping I went to the coffee shop. Then it was time for work, and as usual, I enjoyed being at work surrounded by beautiful house plants. After work, I went to Safeway, where I got some great times like my favorite fruit snacks, but my favorite things that I got were two Lion King Pez dispensers. I was so excited when I saw them and it was only three dollars for both of them! It was a pretty great day.

Saturday – On this day, I worked the opening shift. I went to town early, and I stayed at the coffee shop for a while as I waited for my favorite local thrift shop to open. I got to the thrift a little bit before it opened, and people were waiting outside for it to open. At the thrift store, I got a gift bag and a card for my Mother’s Day present. I also got some things for myself including a Build a Bear brand plush dog, a Hot Wheels truck still in the package, a cup shaped like a panda that comes with a attached straw, and a set of headbands that you can decorate. After thrift shopping, I went to work and opened the store. It was a good day for sales, and that made me happy. After work, I went to the toy store, and I got a craft kit and some stickers. After that, I got something to eat before going home. I enjoyed my Saturday.

Sunday – Today was Mother’s Day, and it was also a day off for me! I started the day with coffee and church. At church, they handed out beautiful red roses for Mother’s Day. After church, we went home for a while before going to our late lunch reservation. We ate at a place that I had never been to before. It turned out to be a really good place and we all enjoyed it. The cinnamon rolls were amazing! After that we walked to a park and saw some friends from church. It was good to talk with them. My mother also really liked her Mother’s Day gifts. It was another great day.

Candy and other sweet things

Hello, my bucket friends! I have finally gotten some time to sit down and write my weekend blog  post! This weekend, I did some of my favorite things such as shopping and enjoying candy! I can’t wait to share all of it with you, so let’s get to it!

Friday – On this day, I worked the opening shift at the plant store. Before my shift started, I went to the local thrift store that I have been going to a lot lately.  Some of my favorite things I got there were a TY cat backpack , some sunglasses, and a bag of rubber ducks. After thrift shopping, I went and began my opening shift. My shift went well. After I left work, I went to the candy store, and I got a PEZ dispenser and some bulk candy. I also stopped at the coffee shop because I did not have time to go that morning.  It was a fun and enjoyable day.

Saturday – I also worked the opening shift on this day before I started my shift, I went to Starbucks and got a hot coffee. Coffee is one of my favorite ways to start the day. As usual, the day went well. After work, I walked down to the toy store. I got some fun things at the toy store, including stickers, a tube of plastic animals, another Pez dispenser , and a bead maze game. I had a fun time shopping at the toy store, and when  my mom picked me up, we went on some errands, including Safeway. At Safeway way I got two chocolate candies that come with toys. Saturday was a simple but good day.

Sunday – I worked the closing shift on this day. My day started off with coffee and church. Church was good, and after we went to Panera Bread for lunch. I had a really good grain bowl that was full of yummy things like tomatoes and avocado. When I got dropped off  for work, I had some time, so I went into this shop that sells vintage clothes and gifts. However, I was there because I wanted to get a bath bomb. They sell bath bombs that have prizes in them. I got a blue bath bomb that came with a pop toy inside. The store also had some stickers. I want to go back there and take a closer look at the stickers. Oh, and as normal work went well. I love my job at the plant store.

My review of Starbuck’s chocolate java mint frappuccino

Hello, my bucket list, friends! I’m excited to be writing this post because I very much enjoy doing food and drink reviews! Yesterday, I saw a post from Starbucks about their latest frappuccino drink. It looked good, but I didn’t know that it was available yet. However, when I was ordering from the Starbucks app later in the day, I was very happy to see that it was available! It had been a while since I had last had a frappuccino, but I have to say that this one was definitely worth having. It is very chocolaty, but it has a great balance of mint and chocolate flavors! If you love chocolate and mint together, you will probably love this! Also, this frappuccino is very photogenic. I loved the way it looks on camera. It is safe to say that I recommend trying this frappuccino!

Last weekend of April 2023 !

Hello, my bucket list, friends! Last weekend, we wrapped up another month of 2023! This year is truly going by very fast! I’m actually happy about that because I’m excited for summer! Anyways, it’s time to talk about what I did last weekend. Here we go!

Friday – Just like last weekend, I worked the early shift on Friday. I also went to my my favorite local thrift store after I got my coffee just like I did the Friday before. I know thrift stores are always getting new things, so I was curious to see what I could find this week. With my coffee in hand, I walked into the thrift store and began to look for treasures! Some of my favorite things that I found were two Pez dispensers (including a very cute ladybug)  a package of Crayola markers , a Garfield ruler, and an American Girl doll sewing pattern. After thrift shopping, I worked the opening shift at the plant store. My shift went well, and after my shift, I went to Safeway. At Safeway, I got three Kinder Joy eggs and a lollipop that comes with a curly straw. I also got normal food items that I needed. After going to Safeway, my mom and I went on a walk at a park. I got to go on the playground and take some pictures. It was a pretty good day.

Saturday- I also worked the opening shift at work on this day. Before work, we went to the same park that we went to the day before. After that, I picked up my order at Starbucks. Then it was time to go to work. After work , I went to Target. I was excited to go there because there were these new bath bombs that I wanted to get. They are from one of my favorite bath bomb brands. I love this brand because their bath bombs have prizes inside.  In addition to the bath bombs, I got two craft kits and a Skipper Target doll. One of the craft kits that I got is summer themed. It has a few different projects that you can make. I’m excited to make some fun summer crafts. At home that night, I used one of the bath bombs. It had a cute prize inside that looked like sunglasses. I also did a craft kit that I got at Five Below that night. It was a simple painting kit, but I really enjoyed doing it. It was a kit where you get to paint your own magnet. This one was shaped like cherries. Doing this craft kit was a great way to end the day.

Sunday – On this day, I worked the closing shift at work. I started off the morning by going to get coffee and then going to church. After church but before work, we went to the hardware store. I got one of those water games. It had the word summer on it, so of course I wanted it! After the hardware store, we went to lunch. I had a really good veggie burrito. When I got dropped off for work, I had sometime before my shift started. I went to the candy store and the coffee shop before work. At  the candy store I got some candy but I also got a Pez dispenser. After getting candy and coffee, I walked to work to begin my shift. My shift went well and after work my mom and I went on a walk it was a good way to end the weekend.
