Two days of thrift shopping !

Hello, my bucket list friends ! One of my favorite things to do in my free time is to go thrift shopping. Recently I got to go thrift shopping two days in a row and I can’t wait to tell you about the things I found . Here we go !

Two days of thrift shopping !

On Friday my friend and I went to a Good Will that is pretty new. I’ve heard it also the biggest Good Will in our area. I have been to this location before and I really like how clean and organized it is. I went looking for craft kits first and I found this really cute craft kit where you make animal faces from paper plates and stickers I haven’t done this kit yet but I’m looking forward to it. I also got an American Girl book, a Disneyland picture frame, some very cute PJ pants and more. On Saturday I worked early and got off in the afternoon. When my mom picked me up I asked her if we could go to the Goodwill that is a few miles down the road from my work. I have also been to this location before. I’m super excited to tell you that I found something really cool at this thrift store. When I was looking in the toy section I was so thrilled to see a Lisa Frank Game that I had as a kid. It’s a fishing style game where you use magnets to collect as many Lisa Frank  characters as you can before the timer runs out. The box was still in plastic so I knew that it was a complete set. I also found a Disney World shot glass from 2000 and a American Girl book. I was very happy with my two days of thrift shopping and I hope to do it again sometime. Rock On – Christina Epperly

Bobble Head Craft Kit

Hello, my bucket list friends ! Arts and crafts kit have become one of my favorite hobbies and I recently finished doing another one . I can’t wait to tell you all about it so here we go!

Bobble Head Craft Kit

I was looking through my arts and craft supplies to find a project to complete. I had forgotten  about this very cute dog and cat bobble head kit that I had gotten at a local party supply store. I was excited when I saw it and I knew that it was just the project I was looking for. The kit had two bobble heads and few items to decorate them with including a marker ,paint and bows! I started decorating the cat first I glued a cute pink pink bow on the cat’s head and then I painted dot’s on her body. For the dog I glued a rose on her head and I covered her with paint . I used the yellow and orange paint on both of the bobble heads.  I really liked they way both of them turned out! They are super cute ! I would love to do another kit like this sometime. Much needed !

Hello, my bucket list friends ! I’m going to be honest with all of you, this month / year has been pretty stressful. A few high lights or I guess in this case low lights include spending what seemed like hours on the phone to fix problems with my insurance and my bank account, spilling coffee all over the table in the break area at work, having a packed schedule that was hard to keep up with and most recently my cat’s UTI came back. I have found when the stress plies on it’s best to take some time for yourself and do things you enjoy. On Tuesday my friend and I went to savers. I got some great things there including three American Girl books. After that we went to Safeway for some food. Then it was time to hangout and watch Alexa and Katie one of our favorite Netflix shows . If you haven’t seen Alexa and Katie yet I highly recommend it. It was a really great day. spending time with your friends and doing things you that both enjoy is a great way to reduce stress. Spending time with my friend was much needed and so was what I did yesterday. For Christmas I got a spa gift card ! Ideally I like to get massages every month I didn’t get one last month but yesterday’s massage made up for that. My gift card was to a very nice spa, The kind of spa with fancy robes and steam showers ! I really enjoyed the massage and the steam shower. I could have stayed in that shower for hours ! After the spa I took my cat to the vet. She did really well at the vet. We spent awhile at the vet but on the bright side I got to pet her for about an hour straight. The point of all this is the road of life is full of bumps but it’s important to take time for yourself and do what you enjoy even when life is stressful.

Painting a cupcake bank

Hello, my bucket list friends! For Christmas my wonderful friend got me a Melissa and Doug craft kit. This craft kit included a cupcake shaped bank and paint to paint it with. I had a lot of fun painting the cupcake and I can’t wait to tell you more so here we go !

Painting a cupcake bank

I was very excited when I opened this gift from my friend! Melissa and Doug craft kits are just the cutest ! This craft kit was pretty simple you got to paint a cupcake shaped bank in any way you wanted to! The kit came with a good variety of paint colors to choose from and a smaller size paint brush that was perfect for this project due to the sprinkles on the cupcake. I started by painting the base of the cupcake I ended up mixing the colors but it looked good to me. I then painted the sprinkles and the rest of the cupcake. I wasn’t perfect with my painting so the paint overlapped onto the sprinkles in some places. When I was done painting the cupcake I was happy with it’s overall colorful and messy look. I also had a good amount of paint left over to use for other projects. I had a fun time painting the cupcake and I would totally use another craft kit like this.

painting my own magnets

Hello, my bucket list friends ! I love doing arts and crafts kits and last month
I got a very cool Melissa and Doug craft kit at the Goodwill. Melissa and Doug make some really great products so I was very excited about this kit. I had a great time using this craft kit and I can’t wait to tell you more about it so here we go !

painting my own magnets

When I saw this kit I was very excited because it was on my Amazon wish list and here it was at the Goodwill plus I could get it right away with no shipping needed. The most exciting thing was that it was in the original package and had clearly never been opened. Things have been pretty busy for me lately so I was happy when I had sometime to relax and make art. The paint and the magnets in this kit seemed to be pretty high quality. It was both easy and fun to paint and decorate the magnets. I enjoyed choosing what colors and designs I would use for each magnet. The kit also came with jewel stickers and pink glitter glue. I like the way the stickers made the magnets pop a little more. I also had fun adding some glitter glue to the magnets as well. I was very happy with the way the magnets turned out and I would love to do another kit like this sometime.
