My wonderful weekend including going to a new Target!

Hello,my bucket list friends! I had a super awesome weekend! This weekend made me feel like I was in my 20s again. My amazing weekend started on Friday when I was on the way to my friend’s house for a two day sleepover.  I decided to stop at a store to get some snacks for our sleepover fun. When my mom pulled in the the shopping center parking lot I saw that the new Target was open! The grand opening was happening on Sunday but they were having a special opening that night. I was so excited when I saw that the Target was open that I called my friend and asked her to come meet me at the Target so she could see how amazing it was. The store was decorated with balloons and I was just so excited to be there. The store was so perfectly organized. I  loved how they had the bath bombs in a very easy to find place. I was very excited to vist the toy section where I got two Barbie dolls including a Barbie color reveal doll. Of course I also had fun in the Dollar section. I got so many amazing items. On the way out we noticed that there was a table of food including a Target cake! The next day my friend and I went to an event at a thrift store that I had never been to before. This thrift store was interesting because it had a bunch of different buildings that had different categories of items. I ended up getting three different items at this event. A Starbucks travel mug, a pair of colorful vans shoes, and a book. After that we went to the Goodwill and I got so many things! Sometimes you find a lot when you go thrifting sometimes you find nothing.  I was very happy that this was one of the times I found a lot. Some of the items I got were a Orange Bird sipper from Disney World, a set of bath bombs, three TY brand toys, some clothes, a Barbie Extra toy, and a My Little Pony travel mug. After all that shopping we were ready for lunch. We went to Chili’s and it was just what we needed. The Chili’s that we went to was in a mall. We decided to walk around the mall for a bit after lunch. As we were walking we saw that a local library had set up it’s own book store. I got three books for only a dollar each! It was a great day for good deals! After the mall we went to Starbucks and the car wash. Going to a car wash is a lot of fun when you are with your friend! After that we went back to her house and we relaxed, ate pasta, and watched a lot of YouTube until it was time to go to bed. When Sunday came around I was surprised as always at how fast the time went by. Before we parted ways we went back to the Target to go to the Starbucks. The Target was so crowded good thing we had done our shopping on Friday night. It was hard to say goodbye to my friend after a wonderful weekend but I had a few things I needed to do before the week began. My parents and I went on our normal Sunday errands. The highlight of our errands was that I  got a bottle of ginger ale and I carried it to the car in my arms like it was my prized possession. Oh and that night The Rookie one of my favorite TV shows came back for another season! It was a really amazing weekend and I miss it so much! I wonder what I’ll do this weekend.

My feelings and a bunch of other stuff

Hello, my bucket list friends! Happy Wednesday! There are times when I have a lot of random things I want to talk about. This is one of thoes times. This week the theme at the preschool where I teach is feelings and emotions. Due to that I thought would start out by talking about my feelings. This morning I’m feeling tired. Pretty much whenever I have to wake up to an alarm and I can’t wake up on my own, I’m tired. Most of the time in the mornings during the week I’m ready to go back to bed. As for my other feelings, I’m excited to watch the Amazing Race season premiere tonight. Fall TV season is here and I’m looking forward to seeing new episodes of some of my favorite shows. The Masked Singer also starts a new season tonight. Another thing I’m excited about is that I’ve written more posts for Vocal Media. I really love writing and I hope to be a published author one day. I write about a wide range of topics on Vocal Media including lists of blog post ideas. Here are links to my five favorite articles I’ve written for Vocal Media so far.

1. Clutter core

2. Fun blog post ideas

3. My never list

4. Summer bucket list ideas

5. Blogging ideas when you don’t know what to blog about

Now, back to my feelings. I’m feeling sad about the fact that tomorrow is the first official day of fall. I wish we could skip fall and go right to Christmas. However, if I had to choose only one feeling to describe myself right now it would have to be motivated. I’m really determined to be a writer and voice actor. It’s a slow process but I try to keep working at it a little each day. I added donation boxes onto my about page and my bucket list page. To hopefully get some extra money from my blog. However if I don’t make any extra money it won’t bother me. I really love writing this blog and it’s worth more than money to me. If my words bring a smile to someone’s face that is worth more in my eyes. I wish we could pay bills with smiles but unfortunately that is not reality. If you would like to donate to me you can do so by going to my about page or my bucket list page from the menu on homepage of my blog but I want to make it clear that there is no pressure or expectation for anyone to do so .As I finish this blog post it is the end of the work day and once again I’m tired but I have some good TV to look forward to!

Painting a rocket!

Hello, my bucket list friends! I just completed painting a rocket that actually lights up. I got this art kit at Target in the Dollar section. It is very simple but also very fun. There were three paint colors in this kit and I only used two of them. This kit did not take long at all to complete but I’m very happy with the way it looks. I also love how the light changes colors. I would definitely buy other kit similar to this one.

Savers, Dollar Tree,my amazing friend and more!

Hello, my bucket list friends! It’s a time for another what I did this weekend blog post. I did a few fun things this weekend that I’m excited to tell you about. So let’s get to it.

Friday –  After work I went to Savers.  I had a coupon that got me 30% off toys and other items. As always I  was excited to see what I could find. The first thing I added to my cart was a My Little Pony Lite Brite  toy. There were a few Barbie dolls available not a lot but more then I have been seeing. I got two of them. In the plush animal area I got a plush horse from Build a Bear Workshop. Some other things I got were American Girl books, TY Beanie Babies collector guides, an earing set and some wooden Christmas shapes that you can paint or color. I was very happy to have the coupon with me since I got a good amount of items.

Saturday- One thing about the weekends that can be difficult is that you have to try and fit a lot of things into a pretty short amount of time. That’s how Saturday was. However, it did end up being a very good day. I went to Starbucks then my mom and I took the neighbor’s dog for a walk in the park. After that we came home and not long after that I left with my dad to go help with making food for homeless people. It goes without saying but I think it needs to be said. It feels good to help others. Since the shelter we were volunteering at was close to where my amazing friend lives. I went to met her when we were done. We met her at one of my favorite places the Dollar Tree. It was so great to see her! It had been a while since we got to hang out.  I had so much fun shopping and talking to her. At the Dollar Tree I found so many amazing things. Including some My Little Pony blind bag bracelets and toys. As well as some other blind bag toys including some that come in little tea cups. Some other items that I got were a bath bomb with a prize inside, candy, play-doh, and a hair bow. After having a wonderful time shopping with my friend, my dad and I went to Taco Bell. I love Taco Bell it is one of the best fast food places for vegetarians. Going there was a great way to wrap up the day.

Sunday – Sunday was a little different because it did something that it does not do a lot where I live especially lately. It rained! It had been a long time since I’d seen a rainy day. We had some errands to run that day and it was good to get out of the house. I’m happy to say that one of thoes errands included going to Starbucks. We also went grocery shopping and to Walgreens. At Walgreens I got a bath bomb and a clay art kit. It was an overall relaxing day.

It’s safe to say that I had a pretty good weekend! Thanks for reading.

Wednesday evening Goodwill trip

Hello, my bucket list friends! Yesterday after work I went on a quick trip to Goodwill because my dad needed to go to the store next door. I never know what I’m going to find when I go to Goodwill. I always wonder what I will add to my collection. This time I got a TY plush , two art kits, an American Girl building block set, and a Barbie doll. The Barbie doll and one of the art kits were from Target. I love how the Goodwill gets items from Target. There were a few Barbies to choose from. I’m really happy with the one I chose because she comes with a lot of accessories. As for the American Girl building set, it was a used item, that looked like it had been well played with. In the box were pieces from Lego sets, and not all the pieces were there but for the price I’m pretty happy with it. Overall I’m happy with my midweek thrift shopping haul.

I got a new American Girl doll this weekend! Plus other adventures

Hello,my bucket list friends! It is time for another what I did this weekend blog post. I have some fun stuff to talk about so let’s get to it!

Friday- on Friday after work I went to the paradise that is Target. As always I found some amazing things that I just had to have. I got three bath bombs, a Barbie doll, a craft kit, socks and more! I wanted to get a another Barbie color reveal doll but I was too worried about getting the same one that I already had. However, I really like the doll I did end up getting. A trip to Target is a good way to start the weekend!

Saturday- On the first official day of the weekend, I did one my favorite things. I went thrift shopping. This time I went to a local thrift store. At first I wasn’t finding much however that turned around and I got some fun items. My three favorite things I got are a Barbie arts and crafts book, a TY plush animal, and a goldfish snack container. After the thrift store we went to Safeway. I got food for the week but I also got some cool Jelly hair ties to use as bracelets, some Ice Breaker mints and a loofah sponge. Later on that day I went on a walk go see my neighbor’s horse and pony. It had be a while since I had last seen them. It was good to see them again and I enjoyed giving them carrots!

Sunday- As you may have guessed by now, Sunday is the day I got my new American Girl doll. The story on how are got her is interesting because I didn’t just go and buy her. I actually won her! On Sunday I volunteered at the Firemen’s BBQ a local fundraiser that that is done yearly. One of my favorite parts of the the event is the raffle. Many items are in the raffle every year. Last year there was an American Girl doll that I really wanted but I didn’t win her. However, this year I was very happy to see that there was another doll in the raffle this year. There were also some other items I was interested in and I’m happy to say I also got a large unicorn paint set and a gift card to a restaurant. However, the thing I was most excited about was the American Girl doll. I was so happy to hear my name called! I named her Clementine and I’m very happy to have her in my collection!

Thanks for reading about my weekend! I hope all of you have a good week.

Idaho family reunion!

Hello, my bucket list friends! I hope you all  had an amazing Labor day weekend! I spent the holiday weekend in Idaho for a family reunion. It was really great to have everyone all together again. It had been years since everyone was all together. It felt like old times. We had a family photoshoot together and it was so much. It was a weekend filled with laughter, good food, and some adventure as well. In addition to spending time with many different family members, I went thrift shopping at a thrift store that we don’t have locally. My favorite thing that I got while thrift shopping was a Barbie puzzle from the 90s. I also went river rafting on the Boise River. I had a fun time going river rafting. I found this rafting trip to be very relaxing! There were a lot of dogs playing in the river, they were all so cute! This was my second time going River rafting and I hope I get to do it again someday. It was a fun trip to Idaho and I hope to make to back soon!
