Colorful and creative drawings!

Hello,my bucket list friends! In addition to blogging drawing is one of my favorite things to do. Recently I drew two more pictures in my sketch book. I’m pretty happy with both of them. One of them was based on the rain storm that we had over the weekend. I drew a fun umbrella with rain drops and rain clouds. The other picture was of a snail. I don’t know why exactly but I really love drawing snails. With this drawing I used many colors for the snail to give it a fun look. Since we are on the topic some of my other favorite things to draw are balloons, flowers, coffee mugs, ice cream cones, birds, and trees. I find drawing very relaxing and I hope to share more drawings with you soon.

Savers in the morning and more adventures

Hello,my bucket list friends! Yesterday was a pretty busy day but it was mostly the fun kind of busy. We ending up leaving the house earlier then we normally would. After we went to Starbucks we got to Savers a little bit before it opened. There were are few people waiting outside already so I decided to join the line. By the time the store opened, there was a pretty long line of people behind us. As soon as we got in the store there were carts waiting for us. I grabbed one and headed to the back of the store where the toys are. I was excited to see that there was so many beanie babies! I ended up getting four bags that had two beanies each. Also on the same wall there was a bag with two Lion King plush toys in it! I love finding 90s Lion King items. I also got the Lion King sound track. One of my other favorite finds from this trip is an American Girl art studio kit. I also got two pairs of jeans and some Disney key chains. It was a successful thrift trip! After that we had some errands to run including Whole Foods and mailing an item that I sold on Poshmark. We went back to the house to get my neighbor’s dog. We had plans to go to a pumpkin patch with Amy but due to traffic that didn’t end up happening. We ended up going to dog park and taking a walk around the park where the dog park is. Last night I listed some more items on Poshmark. I’m getting more into this reselling thing. Thanking for reading!

My life in the middle of the week

Hello,my bucket list friends! Well it’s Wednesday. I thought I would do a little mid week check in. Let’s start with Monday’s highlights. Monday started off with my usual morning trip to Starbucks. After work I went to Starbucks again before heading to the dog park. We are watching the neighbor’s dog this week and because it gets dark early now evening walks are harder to do. The dog park has been our go to lately. I love being at the dog park even if I’m tired. All those happy dogs put me in a better mood. Yesterday I got a package with the Lisa Frank plush that I ordered. I also got a copy of my work photos yesterday. I’m happy with the way they turned out. Last night I decided to list some of my collection on Poshmark. It was a hard choice to make but I need money for some adventures that I have planned. I already sold one item. Don’t worry I’m still collecting! Reselling might be a good way for me to make money on the side. I guess that brings us up to today. Right now I’m on my lunch listening to an audio book and writing this blog post. I guess it’s time to wrap up this post. Thanks for reading

Thrift shopping,friends and more!

Hello,my bucket list friends! Well it is Monday again and that means it time for another week of eight hour work days. I managed to do a lot of stuff this weekend so I thought I would write about it. On Friday after work I went and got my second coffee of the day at Starbucks then we took the neighbor’s dog to the dog park. I enjoy going to the dog park as much as the dogs do! I love being in an area filled with a bunch of happy dogs running around! Some of the dogs even come up to you to be petted! It’s a good way to de-stress. On Saturday I started the day off with a trip to the thrift store. I went to a local thrift store that has limited hours so when I get a chance to go I usually do. This thrift store has low prices especially when compared to Goodwill or Savers. Even though this store is on the smaller size I usually find some awesome things. Saturday was no different. I ended up getting three American Girl books, a beanie baby, a brand new craft kit,and Mickey Mouse colored pencils! While I was at the the thrift store I saw someone I went to high school with. We had a great conversation and took some fun pictures. After that my dad and I went to the hardware store. I was happy to see that they had a lot of Christmas stuff out already! They had more Christmas items then they did the last time I was there. I loved the Christmas trees that they had set up. Later that day we went to go remember my great uncle before he is buried out of state next weekend. Then we went to dinner with family. We went to a restaurant that we had been to before but they had remodeled it and it was so beautiful! That brings us to Sunday. I started my Sunday off by helping at Sunday school. The lesson of the day was Noah’s ark and it’s one of my favorites. After church I met Amy for lunch it was so good to see her! Then we went to Trader Joe’s. Getting errands done is much more fun when you have a friend to chat with. That night we went to my uncle’s house and played a board game. There you have it that was my weekend! Thanks for reading!

In love with my Tie-dye sweatshirt

Hello, my bucket list friends! Right now I’m wearing this Tie-dye sweatshirt that I got at a Goodwill in Utah back in June. Ever since I got it, it has become one of my favorite clothing items I own. I love it for a few reasons. Number one it is super colorful and happy looking. I love how bold and bright it is. The second thing about it that I love is that is so comfortable it’s like I’m wearing a cozy blanket. I looked through my photos to find pictures myself in this sweatshirt. I just have to say I love the way it looks in photos! I should keep an eye out for more Tie-dye items when I’m thrift shopping!

Barbie color reveal advent calendar

Hello,my bucket list friends! Yesterday I went to Target and I got this Barbie color reveal advent calendar. I saw this advent calendar the last time I was at Target and I told myself once I get paid, I would get it. It took me a little while to find it yesterday since it wasn’t in the Barbie section. It was over by the Legos with some other toy advent calendars. I decided to open everything in the advent calendar all at once instead of waiting until December and doing it day by day. The doll has a beautiful snowflake pattern on her and comes with all kinds of accessories. My favorite thing in this advent calendar other then the doll was the snowman. The snowman was just so cute! In addition to the doll there was also dog that you revealed with water. The cardboard doors that the accessories are behind can be used to make a winter scene. I had a lot of fun opening up the doors and seeing what surprises were behind them. I’m so glad I bought this advent calendar. I love the doll and all the accessories. If you are a Barbie color reveal fan I highly recommend this doll.

A CPR class and lots of coffee

Hello, my bucket list friends! Another weekend is almost gone. This weekend went by really fast overall. Yesterday, I did an eight hour CPR class that I needed for work. It was slow at some points but it was very informative. I got coffee that morning before the class and after the class I went to Starbucks again. After Starbucks I went to Whole Foods and then Taco Bell.I spent the rest of the night relaxing Then that brings us to today. I took it pretty easy today. I wrote another article for Vocal Media and did some shopping for the week ahead. Oh and I got coffee today too. I’m sure that before I know it I’ll be writing a post about next weekend! Have a great week!

Weekday Savers trip

Hello, my bucket list friends! Yesterday after work I went to Savers for some evening thrift shopping. I like going to thrift store during the week if I can because it is usually less crowded. On this thrift trip I got two Barbie dolls including one with purple hair, an American Girl craft kit, a Barbie book that still had a necklace included,a Disney World popcorn bucket, and a bag of two beanie babies. I did pretty good in the book department in addition to the Barbie book I mentioned above I got two other Barbie books, some Wish Bone books two American Girl books and a Mary-Kate and Ashley book. I didn’t find any clothes on this thrift trip but I’m happy with the other things I got especially the Disney World popcorn bucket. I was so happy when I saw it on the shelf. This was overall a successful thrift trip.

First October weekend 2021 and my dreams for the future

Hello,my bucket list friends! I’m gonna talk about this again. How is it October right now?? I feel like I need to start planning my blogmas posts before December sneaks up on me! Anyways the first weekend of October for 2021 is officially behind us. I thought it would make a good blog post to not only tell you what I did this weekend but to talk about the goals I’m working towards right now. Without any more delay let’s get to it.

My weekend- Friday was a tipcal work day. When I look at pictures of that day I’m reminded that.I had a peppermint ice cream sandwich that night. I got them from Safeway and they are truly amazing! On Saturday I went to two of my favorite places starbucks and Goodwill. The Goodwill that I went to was not very well stocked. However, I got some official American Girl clothes and some American Girl activity books and a brand new craft kit. I also went to Michael’s and I found some really cute stickers on sale. On Sunday my sister came to visit. We went to lunch at one of my favorite local places. I had some very yummy ravioli. After a very yummy lunch we had to get a few things at the hardware store. I was so happy to see that there were Christmas items in stock already. I got a snowman yard decoration. I can’t wait for Christmas time to finally get here. I also had fun working on the craft kit that I got at the Goodwill. It was a pretty good weekend overall.

My dreams- I consider myself to be a professional day dreamer. I’m always thinking about what I want to accomplish in my lifetime. I know now that I really want to work towards being a freelance writer. I’m working on getting my Fiverr account up and running so I can be a blogger for hire! I’m also going to continue to put articles on Vocal Media! I’m excited to see what I will write next.
