One busy weekend!

Hello,my bucket list friends! It’s time for another weekend blog post! This weekend was pretty busy as you can see from the title. Let’s start with Friday. On Friday evening I went to the Goodwill. I needed to get a dress for a work event but of course I had to see if there was anything I wanted to add to my collection. I think someone donated a TY collection to the Goodwill because I got two Beanie Buddies and a few Beanie Babies. My other fun find was a mini paint set it’s just so cute! Oh and about the dress I mentioned earlier, I found one that I love. It still had the tags on it. I was so happy that I decided to get a dress that night. After the Goodwill I went to Panera Bread and Walgreens. At Walgreens I got a Barbie puzzle and a squishy toy. On Saturday, I went to Starbucks then I went to Barnes and Noble where I got some great books. One of the Barbie books I got came with stickers. After that we went to a baby shower for my cousin. It was great to see everyone and the decorations were so cute! The day had been pretty busy already but it was not over yet! There was a gathering going on in my neighborhood. The big highlight of that neighborhood gathering was that there were so many dogs there! I love being around dogs especially happy ones! Sunday was another busy day. I spent most of the day with my friend. We started off the day by going to church. It was my first time at this church but my friend had been there before. I really liked the church that we went to and I hope to go back again sometime. After church we went to the Goodwill,Subway and Starbucks. At the Goodwill I got a Barbie doll and an American Girl book. We ended the day by going to a Mexican restaurant. It was great to spend a day with my awesome friend. There you have it my jam-packed weekend. Thanks for reading!

Welcome to my nightmares

Hello, my bucket list friends! This post is gonna sound a little strange but I am an artist after all. Last month I went to an Alice Cooper concert. During the the show he wished the audience horrific nightmares. This got me thinking can you make yourself have nightmares? I’ve also realized that it’s been years since I’ve had a real nightmare. I’ve had odd dreams but nothing terrifying. So I set out on a quest to give myself nightmares. I started off by asking my friend Google how to give myself nightmares. One of the first things that I read was a wiki how page ( You can read it HERE) I tried to follow the tips such as eating spicy food and sleeping on my stomach. I took vitamin B and watched horror movies. In a strange turn of events it turns out that I like some horror movies. I was still hoping that they would give me nightmares but no such luck. I experienced at least one dream that I would classifie as odd but not a real nightmare. There was one night I tried everything I could think of. I took vitamin B and melatonin at the same time and I watched a true crime documentary right before bed and…….. I didn’t have any nightmares! What’s wrong with me ? Like for real why can’t I have nightmares? When I got sick I thought I might have some nightmares since my sleep schedule was all over the place but that did not happen either.Anyways, since I was unsuccessful in this quest I thought I would share some interesting dreams and nightmares I’ve had in the past. It’s been a while but I want to say probably around five plus years ago that I had a bunch of dreams about being a criminal. Now, it was nothing violent I was usually a thief of some kind. One dream that stands out to me ,was one where I was running down a road holding a large suite case filled with cash. I have no idea where I got the suite case from or where I was trying to run to but I knew that the police where looking for me. It was then that I saw a police officer with his young son in a driveway and I made the decision to turn myself in. I remember the officer being shocked when I walked up to him and the dream ended with me getting arrested. Another dream I had that followed this pattern was one that took place in some kind of fantasy universe. I was standing in front of a long table and behind the table was a woman who was either a judge or a ruler of some kind.On the table was a device that was used for punishment. It was a container that you stuck your hand into and it would shock you. What stands out about this dream was the fact that I remembered a quote from it. As I was standing behind the table the woman asked me if I was scared. I gave the following reply. “No, I’m a criminal, it’s not like this is the first time I’ve been punished.” Now, this was not something that I would say in real life so it was a surprising thing to dream. Other dreams I had the follow this pattern include a dream about running from law enforcement through a mall and another dream about spending a night in jail. As for the nightmares I had when I was younger I remember one pretty clearly. The was a rattle snake in a cottage cheese container in my backyard and it was biting me. It bit me a total of three times and according to my nightmare that meant I was gonna die from it. Another nightmare I remember having when I was young is one where I got some kind of cut that couldn’t be healed and it was going to eventually lead to my death. These nightmares do have some similarities. However, I curious to see what kind of nightmares my mind would come up with now that I’m in my thirties but I guess my brain is done with having nightmares .Well at least for now it is.

So yeah …..I got sick !

Hello,my bucket list friends! I know the title of this post gets pretty straight to the point but on Sunday I got really sick. It started on Saturday with a little bit of congestion, then on Sunday I was very congested and I felt really bad. I had no energy and things got worse. I’ll save you from the details but let’s just say the rug had to be taken outside and blasted with a hose. I’m finally starting to feel like myself again. I was so low on energy that I could not even blog. However,I’m improving now. I’m not totally better yet but much better then I was. I was even able to take a bath with bath bombs yesterday. I’m looking forward to being myself again! Thanks for reading and I hope all of you are staying well.

My new Build a Bear friend

Hello, my bucket list friends! Yesterday, I went to Build a Bear Workshop after work. It had been a while since I had made a new friend at Build a Bear. I really wanted want to welcome a new bear into my collection. I had looked on Build a Bear’s website before I walked into the store. I had a few ideas for what plush I wanted to choose but I had not decided for sure. There were a lot of great plush animals to choose from. At first I wanted to get the Crayola Bear, but I ended up choosing the rainbow sparkle bear that has cute sparkly paws. After stuffing my new bear I went to look for the perfect outfit for her. After looking around for a little while I chose a two piece outfit that had a daisy on the shirt. When it came time to name my new friend, I hadn’t chosen a name already but I found the perfect one for her. I named my new friend Daisy Rainbow. I love how bright and colorful she is and her outfit is super cute! Going to Build a Bear Workshop was the perfect way to start my weekend. I don’t think it matters how old I get, I will still love going to Build a Bear Workshop. Thanks for reading!

Cupcake art !

Hello, my bucket list friends! Yesterday, I used my paint sticks again to create another piece of art. I didn’t know what I wanted to make at first so once again I turned to pintrest for inspiration. I decided to make a cupcake after finding easy step by step directions. I had a fun time drawing a huge cupcake with dots on it’s wrapper. The cherry on top is super cute. I’m glad that was included with in the instructions because it made the picture just a little better. I wonder what I will make next.

On Thursday I went to my favorite local Goodwill location. I was so happy when I saw this Barbie ornament from the 90s. It was still in the original box. Another item I found that got me excited was a color your own squishy toys art kit! I had a kit from this same brand before but this kit had different squishy toys in it. Other highlights include a mug from 1986, and a dog purse! Yesterday day after work I started off my weekend by going to Savers. When I got there I headed right to the toy section. I was happy to see that there were a good amount of dolls to chose from. I ended up getting three Barbie dolls. My favorite doll I got is pearl beach barbie. she still had her super cute earrings on and her blue bathing suit too! I also got a lot of Barbie movies. It looked like a whole collection of Barbie movies had been donated. I kept finding ones that I wanted to add to my collection.
