Hello, my bucket list, friends! It is the last day of the first month of 2024! Before I do my things I love post to wrap up the month. I wanted to do a post highlighting the latest things I bought at work. The first thing I want to talk about is the Melissa and Doug magic velvet art set that I bought on Monday. This set comes with markers and six velvet pages to color. I’ve already started coloring some of the pages, and I really love this little art kit. Also, on Monday, I got a container of puppycorns toys. I have not opened it yet, but I think it would be a perfect item to do a toy review on. Yesterday, I got 12 surprise toys! I got this many because they went on clearance. I like that these surprise toys come with stickers. I’m excited to see if I can get one of the rare toys. I hope all of you had a great first month of 2024!
Hello, my bucket list, friends! On Saturday I went on a day trip to Monterrey. I have been here many times before but I really enjoy going here. On this day trip, I also went to Pacific Grove. I can’t wait to tell you more about it so here we go !
Monterrey / Pacific Grove day trip
The first activity of my day trip was going to a place that I love going to when I go to Monterrey and that place is the antique mall. When I got to the antique, I headed straight for a booth that I remembered from last time. This booth is full of things that I love to collect like My Little Pony, Barbie, and Lion King. One of the first things that I picked up at this booth was a 101 Dalmatians Christmas decoration that was from the 90s. When I had finished shopping at the antique mall the other items that I got were , a bag with three Pez Dispensers in it, two Barbie doll dresses, a Barbie pen and a pack of Squishmallow trading cards. After the antique mall we went to eat and then we walked around. We got Ghirardelli chocolate at their store. I also got some postcards at a gift shop, and I got soap that has a rubber ducky in it. After our fun in Monterey, we went to see the butterflies in Pacific Grove, and I’m so glad we did. It was amazing to see that many butterflies flying around. I got some pictures, but since I just had my phone with me and not a nice camera, the pictures are not super great, but I still had a great time seeing them. It was a great first day trip of the year.
Hello, my bucket list, friends! I’m excited to write this post because I finally finished reading my first book of the year. The book I read was Meet Isabell and Nikki it is an American Girl book that takes place in 1999. One thing I really liked about the book was that I grew up during the 1990s, and I was nine years old in 1999, and reading this book brought back some good memories. I rated it 5/5 on Goodreads. I highly recommend reading this book!
Hello, my bucket list, friends! As you can tell by the title of this post, I’ve just added a new doll to my collection. However, this doll is not one that I would normally buy. I’ve seen LOL dolls before, but I didn’t really have any interest in them. However, this one series that we have at work called LOL tweens looked interesting. The box had a picture of what the doll inside looked like, but you could not see the actual doll or any of the accessories. The surprise part of it is what interested me the most. When I saw that all of the LOL dolls were on sale, I decided to buy one of the two tween dolls that we had. LOL dolls are known for having big heads and huge eyes, and the doll I got definitely follows that rule. My favorite thing about this doll is her hair. It seems to be a very good quality. I also love her earrings and glasses. The doll comes with a background that is great for taking pictures of your doll. I don’t think I will become a collector of LOL dolls but I’m happy that I decided to get one. Do you have any LOL dolls?
Hello, my bucket list, friends! I hope you are starting your week on a good note. I’m happy to say that I’ve had some fun days recently and I want to share them with you. Without any more of a delay, here we go!
Friday 01/ 19
On this day, my shift at work started in the late afternoon. Before work I got coffee. I always find coffee to be comforting, but on these gloomy days, it is extra comforting. After getting coffee, I went to work. Before I started my shift I did some shopping. I love the fun Valentine’s Day items that we have in the store right now. I got some Valentine’s cards that come with stickers, a really cute pen with a cat on top, and a bracelet that looks like a butterfly. In addition to the Valentine’s Day items, I got a Barbie pop reveal toy. During my breaks, I bought some other items, including heart-shaped stacking crayons, Valentine’s Day Kinder Eggs, and two Hot Wheels cars. I also had soup for lunch, and that is also very comforting on a gloomy day. This was a very normal day, but it was a good one.
Saturday 01/20 I was very excited on this day because It was the day that I was going to see a friend that I had not gotten to see in a long time! We meet at a pizza place . It was great to see her. After lunch, we went to the candy store where I got a pop-ups pop that came with a blue shark lollipop holder. After that we went to the toy store. It had been a while since I had been there. There were a lot of very cute things there. I got some stickers, two My Little Pony toys, and some of those cute suction cup critters. After that my friend and I went to a coffee shop. We stayed there for a while and talked. I did not want our time together to come to an end, but I had to get to work. While on break at work. I got some more Valentine’s Day cards that come with stickers. I also got two boxes of model magic that were on clearance. It goes without saying that today was a great day.
Sunday 01/ 21
I also had work on this day, but I started off the day with coffee and church. I love being at church it is always great to see everyone. After church service, we had nachos with other church members . It was great to hang out and socialize for a little bit before going home. At home, we took down some outdoor Christmas lights, and before I knew it, it was time to go to work. I got more coffee before work. During my break, I did get two of the chocolates that come with animal toys. It was a good day at work and an overall good day in general.
Hello, my bucket list, friends! I’m excited to tell you about the latest craft kit that I opened. One thing that I really like about this craft kit is that it comes with lots of stickers! I did not even use all the stickers that came with the kit. The kit was a very simple one it came with a plastic tumbler that included a lid a straw and two sheets of stickers to decorate the tumbler with. I enjoyed decorating the tumbler, and I love the way that it looks. I wish that I had more sticker craft kits like this one. I will have to keep my eye out!
Hello, my bucket list, friends! It is time for another product review! This time, I decided to review a body wash that I got at work. I also have some other soap and glory products that I have been using, and I like them a lot. When I saw this body wash on sale, I decided to try it. The body wash has a strong but pleasant citrus sent to it. It felt good on my skin. I was worried it may be a bit harsh, but it was nice. I’m actually excited to use this body wash again. I’m glad I bought this body wash!
Hello, my bucket list friends. One of my favorite sayings is enjoy the little things. I wanted to highlight the little things I loved on Sunday and Monday. Without any more delay, let’s get to it!
Sunday – I started work later in the day. I sept in and took it easy until it was time to leave for work. Before work, I went to Safeway, where I got food and a hot wheels car. Then I went to get coffee. After that, I went to work early so I could buy something before I had to clock in. I bought this super cute Melissa and Doug sticker activity kit. Also, during my day at work, I got two chocolates that have toys inside and a container of squishy toys that are part of our Valentines Day seasonal items.
Monday – I had this day off! I slept in again, and I took it easy until my mom and I went into town. Our first stop was coffee, of course, then Pet Co, where I saw some very cute kittens. After Pet Co, I went to my favorite local party supplies store. I have been coming here since I was a kid. Being there made me feel young again. I got four pencils for a dollar because that’s something I would have gotten as a kid. I also got some some plastic sea animals, rubber ducks, a Pez disperser that is shaped like a truck, and a pen with a plastic heart on top. After that we went for a walk in the park. There is supposed to be rain coming this way soon, so it was nice to get outside for a walk. After our walk, I went to the movie theater to pick up a prize pack that I had won. Before walking back to the car, I went to the candy store, and I got some of the stickers that they had there.

Hello my, my bucket list, friends! It may only be January, but I’m looking forward to warmer days and, of course, summer. There have been some new seasonal items put out at my work lately, including some great toys! I’ve gotten some of them. I love the box of fidget toys that I got! I also got two of these super cute toys that have an animal pop up when you squeeze them. I also got two containers of bubbles. One of them has a duck on the top. The other is shaped like an ice cream cone. I also got some light up toys and a ball. You can see the items in the pictures posted below. Getting items like this makes me even more excited for summer! I have some very fun things planned for summer and I can’t wait. I’m especially excited about going on vacation!
