Introducing the nonconformist news

Hello, my bucket list, friends! In my last post, I mentioned that I had a new website that I was working on. I’m happy to say that I’ve launched that website.  I have shared it on social media. However, I thought I’d share it here with all of you as well. I have two articles posted already, and I’m working on more. I decided to make another site so I could write about topics that I was passionate about but that don’t really fit in on this blog. I have published some articles like that before on this blog. However, I decided it would be best to have a dedicated place to post articles about culture, controversy, and some more serious topics . You can click HERE to see my new site. I’m very excited to see where this new site takes me, but don’t worry, I will still be posting on this blog. I can’t wait to share some of my upcoming bucket list adventures with all of you!

Thanks for reading!

An artsy Easter basket , book store finds, Squishmallow lip gloss, looking forward to summer and more.

Hello, my bucket list friends as you can tell from the title I have a lot of things I want to write about. I’ve also been busy working on a second Word Press site that I will be telling all of you about soon. With all the being said lets get to it

April 15th – On this day I got a really fun Easter basket at work that was full of fun art items. On my lunch I went to Safeway and I got a Squishmallow beachball. The beachball made me think of summer and how excited I am for it to finally get here but I will talk more about that at the end of the post.

April 16th- I was off on this day. I went to my favorite used book store. I got a really cool summer notebook, Two American girl books, and a book about a cat. I also got coffee and went on a walk. It was a good day off.

April 17th – At work on this day I got three Squishmallow lip balms! I had seen this display of lip balms earlier but I waited until today to get them. I love that the lip balms are squishy just like the toys that they are based on. I was so happy to get the lip balms maybe I should do a review on them.

April 18th – On this day I got two Claires Easter items at work. I also got some bubble gum at work. Later on in the day I went to Trader Joes and I got some very cute spring stickers!

April 19th – I got one more Squishmallow lip balm at work I also got a Crayola art set. It was a very stressful day and I did some coloring to calm myself down. It was a hard day but I made it though.

April 20th – Today was Easter but I had to work it was another hard day at work. I feel like Easter did not really happen this year. It just felt like a challenging work day. I hope next year is different.

Looking forward – Summer is on the way and I’m so excited. I’m already thinking about my summer bucket list, the trips I have planned and all of bucket list items I will cross off. May might be kind of a slow month for me as I work to get ready for an amazing three months. I also have a goal of not getting behind on blog posts like I did last year.

A trip to the toy store and a sticker suncatcher art kit

Hello, my bucket list friends ! I’ve been in an artsy mood lately. On Saturday I went to one of my local toy stores and I got two art kits , stickers, and a box with three horses in it. Last night I decided to open the sticker suncatcher art kit that I got on Saturday. I loved this art kit! I love using stickers instead of paint to make sun catchers. It is a fun and mess free alternative to paint. This craft kit was very enjoyable and I with there were more kits like this that used stickers instead of paint to make suncatchers because I don’t see kits like this often. One of the sun catchers was shaped like an ice pop the other was shaped like an ice cream cone. The design of the sun catchers made me even more excited for summer then I already am! If you get a chance to do a sticker suncatcher art kit I highly recommend it!

Thank you for reading about this art project!

Wonderful water bottle art kit !

Hello, my bucket list, friends ! I love sharing my fun creative adventures with all of you. Last week, I got an art kit at the thrift store.  This art kit comes with a water bottle and supplies to decorate the water bottle with, and yesterday was the day that I decorated the water bottle. I’m excited to tell you more about it, so let’s get to it!

Water bottle art kit –

This art kit was simple it came with a plane water bottle and colorful tape and shiny stickers to decorate the water bottle with. Wrapping a water bottle with tape was a little more challenging than I thought it would be, and it definitely looks messy in certain places. However, I enjoyed doing this art it and I love my new water bottle. I even took it to work with me yesterday. I think I will carry my new colorful and shiny water bottle with me on some of my upcoming summer adventures! This was a great thrift store find!

Thanks for reading about this creative adventure!

Thrift shopping, fun with friends, stickers, and so much more !

Hello, my bucket list, friends! April is going by so fast, and due to that, I decided to do one big blog post to get caught up on this month’s adventures! I’ve already had two friend hangouts this month, and that is rare for me, but I welcome it very much! I also went to Savers, got some stickers and other items from Micheals delivered, got two 1990s Barbie dolls, and did some at work shopping. However, that’s not all I have to write about, so with all that being said, let’s dive into my April 2025 adventures so far.

April 3rd – On this day, I went to Safeway on my lunch break, and I got some of those surprise capsules that have foam animals  inside. At work, I got a Hello Kitty chalk set that comes with a stencil. It was a pretty normal day, but it was a good day to get some fun items.

April 4th –  This was another day of at work shopping. I got two fun Squishmallow building sets, a fluffy bunny notebook, a bag of bouncy balls, a bunny garland ,a hairbrush ,mints, and roller chalk. It was a good day to get a few more fun items from work.

April 5th – On this day I got a delivery from Instacart. I ordered some fun items from Michaels, including two sticker books and a little art set. I also got some sport stickers and a Squishmallow slime set. I like like being able to get items delivered while I am at work. Getting some fun items delivered made my work day a little more fun!

April 8th – On this day I did two of my favorite things. I saw a friend and I went thrift shopping. This friend hangout was not planned but my friend happened to be in the same area as my work. I worked a different shift than I normally do so my lunch was earlier than normal. My friend and I went to Subway on my lunch break . It was wonderful to get to spend sometime with one of my very favorite people. Having a good conversation with my friend was something that I really needed. It is so easy for life to get busy and that can make it is hard to slow down and enjoy the best things in life like having a conversation with a friend. Having lunch with my friend on this day was truly a blessing. After work I took an Uber to Savers. I had not been to Savers in a while so I was happy to get the chance to go again. However ,it was a little overwhelming when I got there because it was so busy. It was a weekday but I live in a very crowded area so even the weekdays can be very busy. However, I was still able to get some great items even with all the crowds. My favorite item that I got was a vintage Barbie book. I also got a Barbie doll , a Squishmallow that still had a tag, a Squishmallow clip, a bag that had some stickers in it, two art kits, a large sticker book , and a shirt. It was an overall good trip to Savers but I hope I can go to a less crowded place the next time I got thrift shopping.

April 9th – I had this day off. I met another one of my favorite people for lunch. It had been a while since I had seen this friend so I was very excited to get to catch-up with her and to have some good food together. While we were walking around after lunch, I saw a doll store. I just had to go inside. I got two 90s Barbie dolls that were still in the box. I also got some doll clothes and some American Girl stickers! It was a really great day off. I wish I could hang out with my friends every week.

April 10th – On this day I got a Crayola Colourwhirl . I had seen this online and I really wanted one. I was not planning on getting one on this day. However the hardware store that I was in just happened to have them. I got the green one because green is my favorite color. I’m happy that I got one!

Thank you for reading about some of my April adventures!
