bucket list #227 Get a reversible sequin shirt

Hello, my bucket list friends ! As you can tell by the the title of this post I crossed off my first bucket list item of 2020 ! It was pretty easy to cross off but I’m still very excited to tell you all about it. Here we go !

bucket list #227 Get a reversible sequin shirt

I love the reversible sequin trend ! I have seen this trend on pillows ,back packs and clothes . I really wanted to join in but most of the clothes that followed this trend were made for kids. I put it on my bucket list because I figured there just had to be a reversible sequin shirt in adult sizes somewhere. I turned to Amazon I figured it would be the best place to find what I was looking for. I found a few different styles to chose from. I ended up going with a pink shirt that had two cats on it. The cats are covered in sequins. ans they change colors when you move the sequins . I really like this shirt and I’m happy that I got it!  Rock on – Christina Epperly

One great day !

Hello, my bucket list friends ! Last Saturday was a really fun day. I spent it with two of my favorite people doing some of the things I enjoy most . Without further delay here we go !

One great day !

My great day started by waking up with my friend Amy all ready in the house. She had spent the night before and we had a good time watching movies until we got tired . Around noon with met a friend of mine in town. Then we all walked to a local thrift store. The thrift store closes  pretty early in the day so we didn’t have much time there but we were able to find some pretty cool things. Both of my friends found a book or two and I got some books, a Barbie doll , a craft kit and a Disneyland zip up sweatshirt. As we were getting ready to get in line to pay, Amy saw the sweatshirt and knew I would love it. I quickly tired it on since it was a smaller size then I normally wear. I was so happy that it fit and was only a little tight.  After that we headed to lunch at a restaurant that we all three enjoy. Lunch was awesome we knew the food there was good but it was also nice to just to sit down and talk for awhile. After that we went to another place that we all like to go to called Petroglyph. At this art studio you choose a ceramic piece to paint then pick it up later. All three of us chose animals to paint. I chose a duck and my friends chose a porcupine and a turtle. We had a good time choosing paint for our creations and painting them. Everyone’s creation turned out beautiful if you ask me! We had had two more stops  before we called it a day , a coffee shop and the candy store ! Which I think is a perfect way to end a fun filled day ! So, there you have it my great day ! I hope all of you are having great days as well.  Rock On – Christina Epperly

Valentine’s day arts and crafts

Hello, my bucket list friends ! I’m back at it with the craft kits . This time I did Valentine’s day craft kits in celebration of the holiday ! Here we go!

Valentine’s day arts and crafts

Valentine’s day necklace kit – I got this kit at Michael’s and  I thought that it was pretty unique! It came with fun Valentine’s day beads, string and two pieces of plastic to use as a clasp for the necklace. I had a fun time putting the beads on the string .I couldn’t figure out how to get the clasp to work correctly so I just tied the necklace the old fashioned way. It worked great and it was pretty easy to slip it on over my head . I would recommend this craft kit.

Cat pillow – At Target I got very simple but very cute craft kit . It came with a very cute cat pillow and some markers. I don’t think that the markers were fabric markers but they worked really well. It was easy ,fun and relaxing to color the little cat. I hope I get to do more craft kits like this !

Ceramic LOVE painting – This kit was a simple painting kit. It came with a ceramic love sculpture ,a paint brush and three colors of paint. I liked the way the letters popped out from the background of the sculpture. I really enjoyed painting this sculpture and I was happy with the way it turned out.

All about Blanca

Hello, my bucket list friends . Last month I said goodbye to my very sweet and beautiful cat Blanca but this post is not about that day. This post is all about Blanca’s wonderful life and sweet personality. I first met Blanca in 2014 I saw her on a local animal shelter’s  website. From the information provided on the website I found out the she was sixteen years old and had come from a house where she lived with other cats who picked on her. Even though her name was Blanca she was a  fluffy black cat. I knew that it was harder for senior animals and black cats to find forever homes once they are in a animal shelter. Since Blanca was a black sixteen year old cat . (That’s equivalent to 80 human years !)   I knew her chances of being adopted were low. I really wanted to adopt her and give her the loving home she deserved. Somehow I was able to convince my parents that we should adopt her. The next day ( February 2nd 2014 ) My mom and I went to the shelter and brought her home.  She did great on the car ride home she was very curious and loved to look out windows. We decided that it would be best to have her live in my bedroom because our other cat Sherry might not be all that excited to have another cat in her house . Blanca and I shared a room for a while I would take her upstairs sometimes so she could sit the window and get some sun. I don’t remember when it was exactly but sooner or later she was able to explore the rest of the house. We were right about Sherry being less than thrilled about sharing her house with another cat. They eventually had a territory war in my room which resulted in me having to do a lot of laundry but that’s just life when you have two girl cats. Blanca was an amazing jumper. I was always a little worried when I saw her ready to jump a pretty long or high distance but most of the time she completed her jump with no problem. Like most cats Blanca was a lover of the sun. Sometimes when I was outside she would come with me to walk around and enjoy the sunshine. Around two years after we got Blanca we welcomed a kitten who I named Cooper into our home. Cooper was so little when we first got him. I’ll never forget the time that tiny Cooper stood on top of Blanca while she was sleeping but he was so small that it took Blanca a few minutes to wake up and notice him! My favorite thing about Blanca was that she loved attention. She had a pretty powerful purr. Her favorite place to sleep was on top of a person. She did’t mind when I picked her up , She just wanted me to pet her head. She was a very people friendly cat and would welcome pets and love from anyone willing to give it. If I had to describe her in two words it would be sweet and sassy. She was very sweet but she also had a very strong personality if she wasn’t happy with something like getting her nails trimmed or Cooper wanting to play with her she would make sure everyone knew how she felt about it. When I first got Blanca I thought I would only have her for a few months but I had her for almost six years ! I am so blessed that I got to be her pet parent!
