An amazing Goodwill trip!

Hello,my bucket list friends! On Thursday, I went thrift shopping! I had not planned on going on thrift shopping that day but my dad had to get some items from the store next door. As you can probably tell by the title of this post it was a really good day for me at the thrift store! One item that I was really excited about finding was the game pretty, pretty princess. I remember this game from when I was a kid and I have been looking for it when I go thrift shopping. I was so happy when I saw it on the shelf. I haven’t counted all the jewelry but it from what I can tell it’s all there or mostly all there at least. This was a great find! Another great find from this thrift trip was a blanket that had some characters from The Lion King two printed on it. I also got some Tennie Beanies and a Barbie calendar. I also really love the plush purple cat that I got. It’s originally from Build a Bear Workshop and it has a cute little bow on its tail! I wish all thrift shopping trips could be like this.

A road trip, Bucket list #245 and an Alice Cooper concert

Hello, my bucket list friends! I had a really wonderful weekend! I went on a mini road about a four hour drive away. The main reason for this road trip was to go see an Alice Cooper concert. I bought the tickets kind of last minute so the seats I got weren’t great but they were good enough and that’s good enough for me. My mom and I left on our weekend adventure on Friday when I got off of work. Before we got to our hotel, we stopped at five below. I’m a huge fan of discount stores but there is not a Five Below near me. I was excited that I had a chance to go here again. I got Barbie and My Little Pony toys here as well as some art supplies. I hope one of these stores opens close to me one of these days. After shopping at Five Below we went to Chili’s for dinner before going to the hotel. The next day was the day of the concert but we did have some time before then. I didn’t realize it before but as I was looking up things to do that day, I discovered that there was a Goodwill outlet in the same town where we were staying in. It was on my bucket list to go to the outlet so we decided to go check it out. It was not as big as I thought it would be and there was not as much stuff as I had imagined. However, I found some pretty great items. Some of my favorite items where, a Mary-Kate and Ashley brand hat, a cup with a Mickey Mouse pattern on it, two books that came with stickers, and a Disney button. It was an interesting experience. It was definitely very different from shopping at a regular Goodwill store. At the outlet you had to dig to find things. Epically the clothes and media such as books.  The prices here were the best part. Our total was under five dollars! It felt so good to cross another item off my bucket list. After my bucket list adventure we went to explore the mission San Louis Obispo de tolosa. We had a little bit of time before our tour started so we went to the gift shop. I got some nice souvenires there. It was a beautiful day to explore the mission. There was so much to see, like a well an oven, and bells. If you get a chance this mission is worth exploring. Plus there is also a museum inside. After exploring the mission we went to Whole Foods for lunch. After that we went back to the hotel to rest before the concert. The concert was at this amphitheater that was part of a winery. It was a very pretty venue. Before the show I waited in a very long line to get a t-shirt and hat but it was so worth it! I have a few Alice Cooper shirts but I hadn’t gotten a new one in a while. The show its self was amazing as always. I’ve been to a good amount of Alice Cooper shows and it’s always exciting! I loved singing along to some of my favorite songs like Escape, Poison, Bed of Nails, and School’s Out! I wish I would have been closer to the stage but I plan on getting a better seat the next time I go to one of his shows. However his show is always amazing no matter where I’m sitting! I plan on going to another show of his before the year is over. The next day it was time to head back home. We made a few stops before we officially got back home. Two of the places we stopped where Starbucks (as always) and the Madonna Inn. Outside of the Madonna Inn there was a really cool cow art piece that we took pictures with. It was a really awesome weekend.

Goodbye bubbles, a trip to the Goodwill and Easter fun

Hello, my bucket list friends! Another weekend has left us. Before we move on from it I wanted to share my adventures this weekend with all of you. I had one big event planned this weekend and that was the bubble run. I was excited to do the bubble run for the third time. It was a rainy and windy day and they kept pushing back the start start time. There were people who had earlier start times that had already done the race but unfortunately for us they ended up canceling the race for safety reasons. I was very disappointed but I did get to see my friends so that was good. After we left the race we made a stop at Starbucks and then we went home. Afer being at home for a little bit, I went shopping at the Goodwill. I wanted to do something fun after being disappointed with the run being canceled. At the Goodwill I found two amazing Barbie items. One is a helicopter and the other is a is car that opens up but I haven’t figured how to open it yet LOL! I also got three bath bombs, a plush dog purse, a Minnie Mouse watter bottle and more. After the Goodwill, I went to the Habit and got a coffee shake! I love their coffee shakes. It was a pretty alright day even if it didn’t go as planned. The next day was Easter Sunday I started the day by going to church I had the perfect Easter dress that I got at Savers. Later in the day I went my cousins house, we had a lot of amazing food and we also did an egg hunt. I still love doing egg hunts ! I’ll probably still be doing egg hunts when I’m 50!

Thanks for reading about my weekend!

Tuesday’s Savers trip :)

Hello, my bucket list friends! On Tuesday I went to Savers with my mom. Tuesday is senior discount day at my local Savers. It is a good day to vist because my mom can get 30% off. The doll section at my Savers has gotten a little better lately and I ended up getting four dolls on Tuesday. One of my favorite finds from this trip was a tin box that was from Tokyo Disney. I love the art on the front of it. Another one of my favorite finds from this thrifting adventure was 102 Dalmatians book that came with posters. I remember when this movie came out so it was a really cool thing to find. I did good with books in general on this thrift trip. I got some American Girl books and some other interesting books. I also got this really nice painting set. It was a successful thrift shopping adventure!

More Barbie color reveal and more instacart

Hello, my bucket list friends! I ordered a good amount of Barbie color reveal dolls on Poshmark. I got two more of them on Thursday. One was from the beach series the other was from the older mermaid series. The first doll I opened was from the beach series. I already had two dolls in this series but I’m happy to say that I didn’t get a double.  The doll I got had a similar hair style to mine and she’s over all just a really cool doll. The 2nd doll was from the older mermaid color reveal series. I had two  dolls from this series already and I’m happy to say that I did not get a double. This doll had a rainbow theme I love her hair and her necklace. I also did another instacart order that evening. I ordered from Walmart again. I got food and other things I needed but I also got two more Barbie dolls. One of the dolls is a pasta chef. I think that is the only kind of chef that I could possibly be lol! I really like using instacart I’ve only used it a few times but I think I’ll be using it again for sure.

Barbie color and cutie reveal!

Hello,my bucket list friends! Yesterday,I opened three Barbie dolls two of them are color reveal dolls and one was a cutie reveal doll. The first doll I opened was from the new mermaid series. I have two others in series. I got this doll yesterday when I was at Safeway. When I opened the doll up her purple hair told me that she was the same as one that I already had. It was disappointing but she’s still a really cool doll. The next color reveal doll was one that I ordered from poshmark. She is in the beach series. I had one doll already in this series. I was very happy when I saw that this doll was different then the doll I already had in that series. This doll had plastic blond hair and a bathing suit with flamingos on it! The third doll I opened was from a new line of dolls called cutie reveal. I also got this doll from Poshmark. There is no water needed to reveal this doll. She comes dressed in a mascot like costume and you simply remove the costume to see the doll. I liked this one a little better then color reveal just because it was a lot easier to reveal and I didn’t need water. Also you know what doll you are getting based on the picture on the package so you can’t accidentally get to of the same doll! Thanks for reading.

Hello, my bucket list friends! Yesterday, I had more fun with my bubble wand that I got at Safeway on Friday. ( You can read about it HERE) I decided it would be fun to try and take some pictures of the bubbles that my new bubble wand made. It was more challenging than I thought it would be and I had to crop the photos but overall I’m happy with the way they turned out. I hope you enjoy the photos below. Thanks for reading.
