Thrift shopping, Pez dispensers, and sunshine

Hello, my bucket list, friends! This is another one of those weekends in review posts. The best thing about this weekend was the sunshine! There has been a lot of much needed rain in my area this month, but it was nice to see the sun out. This weekend was pretty normal, but it was also pretty good, so let’s get to it!

Friday – On this day, I opened the store where I work. Before my shift, I went and got coffee at the local coffee shop that I usually go to before work. Work went well, and after work, I decided to go to my favorite local thrift store. This store has limited hours, so I was happy that I had a little bit of time to go there after work. At the thrift store, I got some American Girl books, some stickers, and a Disney World postcard. However, my very favorite thing that I got is a Barbie puzzle from the 1990s. The puzzle has all of the pieces, but it no longer has the stickers that it originally came with. I’m so happy I went to the thrift store after work. When I was done at the thrift store, I met my mom nearby, and we went to Starbucks and the park. It was a very beautiful day and I really enjoyed being at the park. This day was a great way to start the weekend.

Saturday – On this day, I worked the closing shift. Before work, I went on a walk to go see my favorite ponies. I had not seen them in a while, so it was good to see them again. We brought them carrots, and they were very happy about that. After our walk, I went on a few errands, including going to Walgreens to get new Pez dispensers. I also got Kinder Joy eggs at Safeway and bananas with Disney stickers on them at Trader Joe’s. Even after running errands, I still had time to go to my regular local coffee shop before work. It was very beautiful outside, so I walked around a little outside before work began. My shift went well, and it was a good day overall.

Sunday – It was another beautiful day, and I really enjoyed the sunshine! I went to Starbucks, and I got an iced coffee. I also worked the closing shift it was a normal but good day!

Thanks for reading about my weekend !

Celebrating this week’s little moments

Hello, my bucket list, friends! I have been told that some people appreciate the way I highlight the little everyday moments in life. I often highlight little moments in my weekend blog posts. However, I have had some fun moments this week that I want to highlight. Without any more introduction, let’s get to it!

Monday- I worked the closing shift on this day. I got coffee before work at a local coffee shop that is close to my work. I enjoyed my coffee, and work went well. After work, I went to Whole Foods. I got some soup because it has definitely been soup weather lately. I also got some boxes of Annie’s macaroni and cheese. I like how the boxes have projects on the back of the box that you can make. Another thing I was excited about getting was the fruit snacks that have trading cards in them. I love how the current series of cards has animals on them. Oh, and I got cinnamon mints, too! It was a good way to start the weekdays.

Tuesday – I had the day off. I stayed home most of the day, but I did go out in the evening. I went to Walgreens, and I got two fun items. One is a bunny shaped pop toy that came with gumballs. The other is a doughnut Pez dispenser. I just love how cute this Pez dispenser is! I wonder what Pez dispenser I will get next.

Wednesday – I was scheduled to work the morning shift this day. However, after I had coffee at the same coffee shop I went to on Monday, I discovered that the power was out at work. Unfortunately, it would not be coming back on soon, and I didn’t want to pay to take another Uber. I decided to stay in town until my mom could pick me up. Frist, I walked to my favorite local thrift shop, but their power was also out. Since I had a lot of time, I walked to the other thrift shop in town. This shop often does not have items that I’m interested in, so I didn’t expect to find anything. However, I’m happy to say that I found a Mickey Mouse hat from Disneyland! Due to the logo on the inside of the hat, I believe that it is from the 2000s. After buying the hat, I walked to the candy store. I ened buying a lollipop that is attached to a plastic bunny mouth, so when you eat the lollipop, it makes you look like a bunny! After that, I just stayed in a park and entertained myself with my phone while I waited for my mom to pick me up. It did start raining at one point, but it was easy to find a place that was covered.

Thanks for reading! I hope you have a lot of great moments this week!

It is time to add more items to the bucket list

Hello, my bucket list, friends! I have not crossed any items off of my bucket list this year, but I have a feeling that will change sometime around the middle of the year. However, for now, I thought it would be fun to add some new items to my bucket list. It can be hard to decide what items to add to your list. I wrote a bunch of ideas down in my notebook, but I didn’t end up adding them all to my list. I find that sometimes the best way to come up with ideas is to let your imagination run wild and write down whatever comes to mind and then pick the best ideas that you came up with. I had fun coming up with ideas for my list. I hope you all come up with some fun ideas for your lists! Without any more delay, here are the new items that I am adding to my list.

301. Tie Dye a plush animal

302. Go on a cruise

303. Drive a boat

304. Travel to another country

305. Stay in a place that is listed in the OMG! category on Airbnb

306. eat cake from a vending machine

307. have my own office room

308. Be a guest on a pod cast

309. Read a book every day for a month

310. see a bear in the wild

Hey, look, it’s another weekend blog post!

Hello, my bucket list, friends, and happy Monday! It is time for another what I did this weekend blog post. I guess I haven’t gotten tired of writing these yet. I actually kind of look forward to writing these posts each week, and that is kind of funny because with my current job, I work at least one day during the weekend. Last week I worked Friday and Saturday. I also worked yesterday, so every day I talk about in this post will be a work day. Alright, with all that being said, let’s get to it!

Friday – On this day, I worked the closing shift. Before my shift started, I went to Starbucks and the toy store that is close to my work. At the toy store, I got two eggs that have a squishy toy inside, plus other surprises. I also got a PEZ dispenser, some fun shaped erasers, and a toy that has suction cups so that it can be stuck to different surfaces. After shopping at the toy store, I walked to work to begin my shift. Friday was also St. Patrick’s Day, and there was a big celebration going on close to my work. I got to hear the band playing while I was working. I felt like I was part of the celebration even though I was at work. After work, I went to Safeway. In addition to basic food items, I also got three more Kinder Joy eggs! It was a good way to start the weekend.

Saturday – I also worked the closing shift on this day. Before going to work, I went to a few places, including Walgreens. At Walgreens, I got some stuff I needed like shampoo, but I also got some fun things. In the Easter section, I got two light up toy chicks, a pen that also lights up and has a carrot on top, and a plush bunny that is also a bracelet. I also got a tin of mints for my purse. In addition to Walgreens, I went to Petco ,Starbucks, and the park before going to work. I really enjoyed walking in the park. It was not super sunny when we were at the park, but it was not raining either. The park was not very busy and that was nice. Work went well, and I went home afterward. It was a pretty good day.

Sunday – This day, I worked the opening shift. I went to a local coffee shop before the shift started. I also went to the candy store, and I got some vegan gummy bears and taffy. I had a pretty good day at work, and I went home afterward. However, I decided I needed more coffee and some food as well. I ordered Panera Bread on Uber Eats. I was so happy when it was derived. I love their hazelnut coffee so much! A delivery from Panera Bread is a good way to end your weekend.

Thank you for reading and have a blessed week.

Hello, my bucket list, friends! I’m just writing this post really quick because I want to say that I’m so happy that it has been sunny lately! I am blessed that I’ve gotten to get out and enjoy it! My review of peeps flavored Pepsi

Hello, my bucket list, friends! It is time for another drink review. This time, I tried peeps flavored Pepsi. I was excited when I saw it in the store a while ago. I have had the bottle sitting around for a while now, and yesterday was the day I decided to try it. I also recorded myself trying it. You can see the video on my Instagram page. My username is summerrockstar. Now, for the review. I was honestly confused when I took the first sip. I could not really place the flavor. It does not really taste like marshmallows to me, but it does not taste bad either. It actually tastes pretty good. It’s refreshing, but it still can’t place the taste it is like a vanilla, but it’s not really a vanilla. I know that makes no sense at all, but I’m having a hard time describing the taste. I do, however, recommend trying this and trying to figure out the taste for yourself because it does taste good.

Target , lots of Kinder joy eggs and of course coffee

Hello, my bucket list, friends! Happy Monday! I have the day off today, and it feels so good to just sit at the computer and write. Anyways, it is time for another blog post about what I did over the weekend. I don’t think I need any more introduction than that, so let’s get to it!

Friday – I had this day off, and I spent most of the day at home. However, that evening, I went out to dinner with family. After dinner I went to one of my favorite places and that place is a target. At Target, I looked at the Barbie section, but I didn’t get anything from there. I did, however, get a lot of items from the seasonal section. Target had a lot of fun Easter items. I was excited to see all the PEZ dispensers that they had. I wanted to get the lamb one, and I was very happy that they had it in stock. I also got a bunny PEZ dispenser, two Crayola Scribble Scrubbies , an Easter bath bomb with a prize inside, Kinder Joy eggs, and a bag of Easter toys. I’m really glad that went shopping in the Easter section there were so many fun things to choose from.

Saturday – I had work in this day, but I was working the closing shift, so I had some time before work. I decided  to do an art project before work, but instead of doing an art kit from my room, I went online, and I printed out some bookmarks to color. If you want to color your own book marks, click HERE. I had fun coloring my own fruit themed bookmarks. Before work, I went to Starbucks. I got a larger coffee than I have been getting because the gloomy weather had been making me feel tired. Work was busy, but when I got off, I was happy that my mom needed to go to Safeway. At Safeway, my favorite things I got were Kiner Joy eggs and my favorite fruit snacks that come with trading cards. When I got home, I made pasta for dinner, and that was my day.

Sunday – Yesterday, I had the day off, and I started my Sunday in the best way possible, I went to church. I’ve been feeling stressed lately, so it was really good for me to take a break and remember the most important things in life. After church, we had some errands to run. My favorite errand we went on was going to McDonald’s to get coffee. However, I was also excited about the banana candy that I got at Trader Joe’s. I have seen pictures of this candy online, and I had been wanting to try it.I did enjoy this candy, but it was very sweet, However if you like chocolate and bananas, I recommend trying it.

Thank you for reading! Have a blessed week!

Two fun art kits and more designs in my Red Bubble store!

Hello, my bucket list, friends! Yesterday, I did two art kits that were both from Walmart. One of them I got on Sunday, the other one I had gotten a while ago. The first one I did was a simple color, your own magnet kit. The magnet in this kit was shaped like a rainbow that had a cloud at each end. The kit came with three markers, but I wanted to use all the colors of the rainbow was I also used some markers that I already had. I really love simple craft kits like this. They are relaxing and fun. After the rainbow, I opened up the second art kit. This kit was a paint your own sun catcher kit that was in the shape of an owl. I enjoyed doing this art kit as well, but I wish it would have come with some brighter colors of paint. I will probably buy more art kits from Walmart in the future. Now, for the second part of this blog post. I’m really excited to say that I have been adding more designs to my Red Bubble store lately. I have gotten into doing digital art, and I have been inspired by the store that I work in, so you can expect to see some houseplant inspired based designs. Click HERE to see my store!

My review of the Barbie color reveal sweet fruit series

Hello, my bucket list, friends! On Sunday, I got a new Barbie color reveal doll at Walmart. I love the Barbie color reveal dolls, so I get excited when a new series is released. At Walmart, I only saw one of the sweet fruit dolls. However, I was happy that there was one left for me. On Tuesday, I opened up my new color reveal doll. The first thing I noticed when I opened the doll was the way the doll was painted. Instead of just a solid color or a basic pattern, the dolls in this series are painted with pictures of fruit on top of a solid color. In these newer series of color reveal dolls, I have noticed that they have been making one of the dolls rare and sometimes giving that doll extra accessories. I did not get that doll, but I am happy with the doll I did get. I love that the doll I got has pink highlights in her hair. I also really like her watermelon printed outfit and her green necklace. I would definitely consider getting another doll in this series.

My Sunday fun-day adventures!

Hello, my bucket list, friends ! Yesterday was a lot of fun so I decided to write a post about it. The first fun part of my Sunday was going to church. One of my goals for this year is to attend church regularly. I have not been going every Sunday, but I have been going more often than I used to. After church, we had to go get some firewood. It didn’t take very long to load up the truck. After that, we made a quick stop at Starbucks before going to Savers. I had some things to donate to savers, so I got a 20% off coupon for making a donation. Savers seemed to be really picked over. They did not have any Barbie dolls. However, I did get some fun items, including two TY Beanie Babies, a Barbie book, some American girl books, and an American Girl bracelet kit. Since I didn’t get any dolls at Savers, I wanted to go to Walmart to get one of the new Barbie color reveal dolls. At Walmart, I only saw one of the new color reveal dolls, but one was all I wanted. I also got four Barbie blind bag pets, an art kit, and an Easter necklace. It was a fun day, plus we only got a little bit of rain it was nice to have a little break from it. However, I’m glad that we are getting some much needed rain.

Thanks for reading I hope you are having a great start to your week.
