Hello, my bucket list friends! Every summer I do what I call my mall weekend. It’s where I go to the Dollar Tree on Friday and then the mall on Saturday. I used to do them more often now I just do it during the summertime. I can’t wait to tell you about this year’s mall weekend so, let’s get to it!
Summer shopping spree 2019
As always my summer mall weekend started at the Dollar Tree. I love going to the Dollar Tree because I can get whatever I want without stopping to look at the prices! Since I’m a big kid at heart I got all kinds of fun items such as glitter crayons , a Crayola coloring book, a set of beach toys that came with a sail boat, a Disney key chain, a My little pony craft kit and more ! I really enjoyed my trip to the Dollar tree I had such a fun time filling up my basket! I got a great haul ! It was a very successful shopping trip!
Saturday meant a trip to the mall ! I started off my mall day at Claire’s. They were having their awesome buy 3 get 3 free sale! I found six great items including a set of hair bows, a necklace with a panda bear on it, a heart shaped locket necklace with an ocean theme, and flamingo earrings. Then I went to forever 21,Old Navy ,the Disney store and Target. I got some really awesome things such as socks with a dinosaur print , polka dotted flip flops, a Lion king figurine set and flamingo pencil toppers.Overall it was a very successful mall trip ! I’ve been wearing the awesome hair bows that I got at Claire’s this week! Rock on – Christina Epperly
Hello, my bucket list friends ! The sunny days of summertime are a perfect time to get creative! I have three projects that I recently finished and I can’t wait to tell you all about them. Here we go!
Summertime Arts and Crafts !
The first summertime craft I’m gonna tell you about is this awesome Disney necklace kit that I bought at CVS. This small kit contained everything needed to make the perfect Disney necklace. The necklace it’s self was easy to get started. I just opened the necklace by pulling the connectors apart then putting on the beads. I decided to put the beads in big color blocks. Then when I was done with that, it was time to put on the super cute Minnie Mouse charm and then this awesome craft was complete!
Craft number two was a set of wooden animals that I bought at the Goodwill. The idea of this craft kit was to put the animals together and then glue extra pieces on to some of the animals. I decided to put a few of the animals together then I painted them with water color paint. I didn’t follow the directions on this kit exactly but I’m happy with how I chose to make the animals. I didn’t make all the animals in the kit but the ones I did make are so cute and I’m happy with the way they turned out.
The last craft I’m going to tell you about was not a craft kit at all. I saved the Starbucks cup from the s’mores frappuccino that I got on June first. I decorated the cup with all kinds of fun stickers! I had a fun time going through my big box of stickers and choosing the perfect ones to decorate the cup with. Now, it’s the perfect pencil holder!
