Random thoughts from a type 4

Hello, my bucket list friends! There are times when I have a lot of things on my mind that I want to dump into one big blog post. This is one of those times. Before I go any further let me address the title of this post. There is a personality test called the enneagram. After seeing people post about it. I took it myself and it turns out that I’m pretty much the definition of a type 4. I’ve always felt like an outcast. I’d never realized that was a part of my personally type. However I have referred to myself as a professional day dreamer so that part didn’t surprise me. If you get the chance I recommend checking out the enneagram test. without any more delay here are my random thoughts.

I really want this cold to go away! – I have had this cold for about a week now and it’s been bringing me down in a big way. It has not only caused me to miss work but to also miss out on spending time with my family and friends. I still have it and it doesn’t seem to want to leave. I hope it goes away soon because I don’t have time for it plus it’s making me very frustrated. However I do feel like it is slowly getting better. I hope by next week I will be 100% better.

My solo Thanksgiving- Due to the cold I mentioned above, I stayed home on Thanksgiving. I made the most of it by eating some very yummy food that I got from the hot bar at Whole Foods. I also did arts and crafts. My favorite craft kit that I did was a wooden Christmas Tree ornament kit that I got at Whole Foods. I also did a TY Beanie Boos puzzle. I enjoyed watching the parade on TV. It was not the prefect Thanksgiving day but I made the most out of it.

Fun CVS finds – Yesterday I went to CVS to get some things to help me fight this cold but of course I bought some fun things while I was there. I got a Disney 2021 ornament and some hair scrunchies. The scrunchies I got are Claire’s brand. I love that CVS has Claire’s items.

I want to cross more items off my bucket list – It has been a while since I crossed anything off my list I think the last items I crossed off were when I was in LA. I hope to cross off a few more items before the year ends.

Outside Christmas decorations – We are almost done putting up our outside Christmas decorations! We got some new outdoor decorations this year and I’m really happy with the way everything is looking. I’m also looking forward to getting our Christmas tree put up soon.

There you have it my random thoughts for the day. Thanks for reading!

A new game and expressing myself

Hello,my bucket list friends! I know the title of this post is a little weird but I couldn’t think of a good name for it. I recently started playing a game called project makeover. I had seen lots of adds for it. It looked interesting so I decided to download it. I just have to say that I LOVE playing it! If you like match three style games like Candy Crush I highly recommend checking out this game. I’ve been off from work this week because I was feeling under the weather. Unfortunately it has not gotten better and I don’t know if I’ll be well enough to celebrate Thanksgiving with family like I planned on . Anyways I’m making the most of my sick days. Today I was really proud of the outfit I put together! It’s crazy in the best way possible. I’ve also been getting Starbucks, eating tomato soup and selling things on Poshmark. I’ve made quite a few sales on there and I hope I make more as we get closer to Christmas. Thanks for reading!

Self care weekend

Hello, my bucket list friends! My stress level has be high lately so I decided to make this a self care weekend. Today is Sunday and can officially say that I have a sore throat and that I’m feeling pretty out of it. I’m not surprised because there has been something going around at my work. I’m happy to say though that it wasn’t till last night I started to feel off so I did enjoy my Friday night and Saturday. On Friday evening I did one of my favorite things. I took a bubble bath with two bath bombs. The bath bombs I used were Christmas themed and they both had prizes in them. I also printed out some coloring pages from Crayola on Friday. If you’re looking for some great coloring pages to print. I highly recommend going to Crayola’s website. Yesterday, I continued to do some of my favorite things to help me de-stress. I went to a local thrift store to see what I could find. This thrift store has shorter hours then the big name stores but I have been trying to visit this store more often. I bought a few fun things including a Barbie doll and a Build a Bear reindeer plush. I also got a very cute Coca-Cola polar bear plush. While we were in town we also went to Starbucks for coffee. Coffee is one of my favorite drinks. When we got home my mom and I went on a walk. The weather was perfect for one. Later that evening we went to a family members house for game night! That brings us today. I plan to spend today relaxing and writing another one of my favorite things.

I’m ready for Christmas and so is Target.

Hello,my bucket list friends! Yesterday I went to Target. I was hoping that there would be some great Christmas themed items there. Let me just say that Target did not disappoint! I know there have been issues getting products into stores but Target had a pretty good selection of Christmas items. I got some cute Christmas ornaments including a bird and one that reminds me of a snow globe. In the Dollar section I got a cute polar bear plush (the bear was $3) and an art kit. Target also had a great selection of Christmas treats. I got a mini gingerbread house kit and a peppermint lollipop. I was very happy to see the selection of Christmas themed bath bombs that were available. There were so many great choices. I ended up getting two of them. Of course I had to check out the toy section. I got a Barbie doll that was made for the Barbie movie called Big City Dreams. I need to watch that movie soon! She is absolutely gorgeous and I’m happy to have her in my collection. Another fun item that I got was a play-doh snowman kit. It was a great trip to Target! Thanks for reading!

Veterans day parade and a trip to Savers

Hello, my bucket list friends! Yesterday was veterans day. My mom and I both had the day off work. We decided to go to a veterans day parade. We bought flags and had a fun time waving them at the parade! There was music, dogs, and a lot of cool cars to name a few things. The parade was a lot longer then I thought it would be. The fun just kept on coming! I really loved the marching bands. After the parade we went to Savers. I had a coupon for 30% off certain items. We spent a good amount of time in Savers the more time we spent there the more items I found. Some of my favorite items I got yesterday are a plush unicorn backpack, a Ken doll, Disney Christmas items, two Barbie dolls and a Christmas necklace. It was a great to have a day off but it was weird to have a Thursday off then have to come back to work today. At least today is Friday and I have two days off to look forward to.

A trip to the Dollar Tree and a art project

Hello, my bucket list friends and happy Sunday. Yesterday I did some shopping at the Dollar Tree. I was excited to see what items they had for Christmas. At the location I went to there were still many boxes of Christmas items that they had not opened yet. However there were some items out and ready ready to be bought. I got a snowman ornament, a light up Christmas tree, stickers and a wooden Christmas tree in the Christmas section. Some of the other items I picked up on this trip are play- doh, a squishy toy and a wooden word to paint. Today was the day I decided to paint the wooden Word. Painting is a very relaxing activity and I’m glad I did it today. I used three different colors to paint the word hello. I love Painting dots when I paint so I did that on this piece. I love the way it turned out and I want to paint the back when the paint dries.

Discovering Pictures from the past

Hello, my bucket list friends. I’m pretty excited to write this post because yesterday I finally got an answer to a question I’ve been asking for a while. What pictures are on the old disposable cameras that we never got developed? Yesterday I got the digital copies of the pictures on the cameras. I’m very excited to share the pictures with you but first let me tell you a little bit more about them. First off there are a lot of photos of our cats that we used to have. There names are Boots and Princess. It looks like I was a fan of having my cats pose for pictures especially Boots. There is also a few pictures of my toys. I love the build a bear group photo so much. There are also a few pictures of me at what I believe to be a county fair. The picture I was the most surprised to see was the pictures of me feeding and petting a Zebra. It turns out that I had crossed this item off my list long before 2018. Some other highlights include me at a pumpkin patch, me in my 4H uniform and a picture of my mom at her desk when I was home schooled. I hope you enjoy these pictures from the early to mid 2000s.

Idaho October 2021 part 2

Hello,my bucket list friends! It’s time for part two of my October 2021 Idaho adventure. This part of my adventure takes place on Halloween. We started the day with a trip to Starbucks then we went to lunch with family. Every Sunday my Idaho faimly goes to the same restaurant. It’s cool how the staff there knows them. After a very yummy lunch my mom and I went with my aunt and uncle to get ready for a trunk -or-treat event at a fair ground. My aunt brought her two mini horses to the event. It was so cute to see them and the other mini horses dressed up. I went trunk-or -treating because you are never too old to have fun! I loved going around to all the different stations and getting candy. I dressed up in my Coca-Cola polar bear pajamas. I was nervous that someone would say something to me since I’m 31 years old but no one did. They also had games to play I got some prizes including a cute plush bunny. It was one of the best Halloween nights that I have ever had. The next day we came back home. It was a great trip to Idaho.
