Lots of shopping, decorating a bucket hat, painting a frog, going swimming, and more!

Hello, my beautiful bucket list, friends! To help me get caught up with my posts, I decided to put a bunch of my July highlights into one big post, and this is that post! I hope you enjoy reading about some of my favorite summer fun moments. Let’s get to it!

A fun trip to Target on July 7th – I went on a shopping trip to one of my favorite stores, and of course, I got some fun items. Some of my favorite items I got were a Barbie notebook, Barbie coloring pages, a Barbie doll that was on sale, squishmallows ,stickers, and two summer themed activity kits I also got some really fun Barbie pens! It was a great trip to one of my favorite places to shop.

My bucket list bucket hat – I recently put this item on my bucket list, and I was happy to cross it off. It was a project that took a long time, but I was so happy with how it looked when it was done. This hat really looks like a work of art and just so happy that I was able to make something like this!

Going swimming -I got to go swimming on July 25th. I went swimming at a gym pool that I had been to before but it had been a long time since I had been there. I don’t get to go swimming as much as I like, so I was really happy to get a chance to do this classic summer activity.

friend hangout on July 22nd – I got to see my friend this month. It was a simple hangout where we went to Starbucks and the park, but it was a great hangout. Anytime you get to see one of your favorite people, relax, and have a good conversation, it is a good time.

frog art project -I bought this art kit from Five Below. It was a simple painting art kit. I love doing art kits like this. Kits like this are great for relaxation. I had a fun time doing this kit. I loved painting the frog, and I’m really happy that I got this kit.

shopping at Five Below on July 14th – I love going to this store, but I do not get to go often. I put going to Five Below on my summer bucket list because I wanted to motivate myself to go shopping here since it had been a long time. Well, I did get to go, but I did not have much energy because I had bronchitis. The pharmacy I went to was very close to the Five Below, so I went there after picking up my medication. I got some fun items, of course. I’ve been really into stickers lately, so I got some while I was shopping here. Other items I got were squishy toy craft kit, a very small Barbie doll, a Squishmallow water bottle, and a Barbie nail set. I did not spend a lot of time in this store because I was not feeling well and I had very low energy. However, I’m still happy that I got to go, and I’m happy with the items I did get.

Shopping at savers on July 24th – I went shopping at Savers! I bought some fun items, including a bunch of stickers that were in a bag of scrapbooking supplies, a sand art kit, a Barbie book, a My Scene doll, and a cassette player.

Shopping at work – ok, I did so much of this. I don’t even know where to start! I did get lots of stickers, so I guess I can start with that! Our Hallmark vendor put out lots of stickers, and I have had a great time buying them. Some other items that I got at work during July included a bucket of playdough that came with playdough cutters, a Hot Wheels car that look like a slice of cake, an LOL doll, a summer ChapStick set, a Hello Kitty Lip Smackers set, and a Hello Kitty coloring book.

I hope you enjoyed reading about some of my July adventures!

An evening at an amusement park

Hello, my bucket list, friends! I wanted to do a quick post about my visit to a local amusement in July . Every post helps me get a little closer to catching up with my blog. Let’s get to it!

July 22nd – On this day, I went to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. My goal was to cross off ride five rides at an amusement park from my summer bucket list. We went in the evening so we could get on rides at a discounted price. The Boardwalk was more crowded than I had anticipated, so it was more challenging to get on five rides than I thought it would be. However ,I was able to do exactly five rides. Those rides were the carousel , the sea swings, space race, tsunami, and sky glider. I also got some souvenirs, including a super cute plush bear, and I also got pizza! I’m going to be honest the long lines made it kind of difficult to fully enjoy the night, but it was overall a good summer night. This is a really great amusement park that I highly recommend going to, but make sure to visit during a less busy time so you can get to experience all the rides here that you want to.

Fun at the beach and exploring the Exploratorium

Hello, my bucket list, friends! In this post, I’m going to talk about two fun things that I did in July. One of them was a bucket list item! I can’t wait to tell you more, so let’s get to it!

July 10th – On this day, I had a dentist appointment, but they could not verify my insurance, so I went to the beach instead. Before going to the beach, I went to T.J Maxx to get some sand toys so I could build a sand castle when we got to the beach. We went to a small but nice beach. I was not really dressed for the beach since I had not planned on going that day. However, I still had a great time, and I built a few different sand castles. I had a fun time at the beach it turned out to be a great day.

July 11th – On this day, I crossed off a bucket list item by visiting the Exploratorium. I have wanted to visit this interactive museum for a while now. To sum it up, the Exploratorium is full of things that you can touch and that is very different from most museums. You will see some of the exhibits in my photos below. It is hard to explain all the fun things that I saw here but some of my favorites include a cloud made of lightbulbs, an arrangement of blocks that made a picture with a shadow, lots of plants, a ring of ice, and a close up look at corn. I also got some fun souvenirs. I highly recommend visiting the Exploratorium if you ever get the chance too. I’m very glad that I crossed this item off of my bucket list.

4th of July fun 2024

Hello, my bucket list, friends! As I continue on my journey to catch up with my blog posts, I’m excited to say that I’ve gotten through the long vacation posts and the other posts I have left to write should not take much time. However, I still have lots of fun summer adventures to share with you. With all that being said, let’s get to a fun post about the 4th of July!

July 4th – I love the fourth of July! It is such a fun holiday! It is all about celebrating the great country that I’m very blessed to have been born in. To celebrate the fourth of July, my parents and I went to an event  that included a concert and fireworks! The opening act at the concert was a very talented singer named Levi Hummon. I had so much fun dancing to his songs! I recommend checking him out! After he was done with his part of the concert. I got to meet him! He was such a nice guy, and I got a picture of us together! Later on in the night, there was an amazing fireworks show! I love the fireworks show that this venue puts on every year! It is always amazing, and I really enjoyed watching it this year. It was a wonderful summer night! I hope all my fellow Americans had a great time celebrating this holiday as well!

My great Tennessee adventure part 3

Hello, my bucket list, friends! I am excited to bring you the blog post about the third and final part of my Tennessee vacation. While on vacation, I welcomed a new month, and that is where this post starts on July first.

July 1st

On this day, my mom and I went on an adventure to Fall Creek Falls State Park. We went on a nice hike, and we got to see a great view of the water fall. The water fall was not flowing very much because it was summer. However, it was still worth seeing. There was also a pretty awesome bridge that we got to walk on. Oh, and there was a playground by the parking lot, and I went on the slide, and there is a nice visitor center here as well. That night, we went back into Nashville for some food and shopping. I got some fun souvenirs, including a cute plush bear and a puzzle. This was our last full day of vacation, and it was an enjoyable day.

July 2nd

This was the day that we flew home, but our flight was not until later in the day, so we had some time before we needed to be at the airport. We went to Starbucks, the Goodwill, and went got ice cream. I got a few things at Goodwill, including books, trivia cards, and pencils. The ice cream shop that we went to was really good. It was a good way to end our vacation, but it was so hard to say goodbye to Tennessee. At the airport I got a few more souvenirs before saying goodbye to the state We had a layover in Denver, and our flight got delayed, so we spent more time in the airport than we had planned on. I was actually not upset about the delay because that meant my vacation could last just a little bit longer.

My great Tennessee adventure part 2

Hello, my bucket list, friends! I had a great vacation in Tennessee, and I’m excited to tell you more about the fun and adventures I had while I was there. Without any more delay, let’s get to it!

June 29th

The big highlight of this day was going to Parrot Mountain and gardens. This is like a zoo that is focused on birds. You get to hold and feed some of the birds here. I loved seeing the big, colorful parrots here but they do have many different kinds of birds. I do recommend going to this fun and interesting place. I’m very glad that I went to this place during my vacation. It was a whole lot of fun ! The other highlight of this day was going to eat at a Mexican restaurant. It was another good day of vacation.

June 30th

This day was one that was packed full of activities! We started off the day by visiting the most visited US national park, the great smokey mountains. Since we were there during peak season, we got up very early and drove the cade’s cove loop. It was a good drive, and we made some stops where I got some good pictures and a pressed penny. Our next stop was Clingman’s dome. There is quite a hike to get up to this lookout point, but it is a pretty cool spot once you get up there. After our hike, we stopped at a visitor’s center. I bought some fun items there, including another book in the series that I mentioned in my last blog post. This book is called Hello, Smokies and I was very happy to get another one of these very cute books. Before leaving the park we stopped at one more spot because it looked like a fun place to explore. I do not remember the name of this spot, but it had a cool rock structure. When we left the park we road the Ober tram. The tram was fun to ride, but it was very busy on the way up. I liked the ride down a lot better. There were some very beautiful views from the tram. As soon as we were done with the tram, we got out of the area because it was very busy. Later that evening, we went to the Alcatraz east crime museum. This is one of the most interesting museums I have ever been to. The museum covers many topics, including crime seen investigation , cold cases, famous criminal cases, and much more. One of my favorite things here was a machine where you could print out your thumbprint on a card. I highly recommend going to this museum but I would not recommend it for children. That night I went swimming at the hotel pool. As you can see, this day was a very busy but very fun vacation day.

My great Tennessee adventure part 1

Hello, my bucket list, friends! I’m excited to write this post about my 2nd vacation of the summer! I had a great time exploring the beautiful state of Tennessee, and I can’t wait to tell you more about it, so here we go!

June 25th

This was the day that my 2nd vacation of the summer began. It was a day where we went on two flights and then we landed in Nashville. We did not do much on the first night, of course, but I did get some fun souvenirs because we made a stop at a store before going to our hotel. Oh, we got a really cool rental car it was a BMW, and it was fun to ride around in that during our vacation, and I kind of miss it! Well, that is it for day one. Now, on to day two.

June 26th

This was the first full day of this vacation, and we had a few activities planned. In the morning we went on a bus tour of Nashville. Our tour stopped at this really neat place that had stores and other businesses. I had fun doing a free moonshine tasting and going shopping, of course. I got a cute book called Hello, Nashville. I pick up books from this series when I see them. I really enjoyed this tour. Our next adventure was going to the Tennessee State Museum. This free museum is full of many interesting things that have to do with the state of Tennessee. I recommend visiting this museum if you happen to be close to it. After that, we got some food before going to our second tour of the day. Our second tour of the day was the Grand Ole Opry. This was an exciting tour that was full of music history. I find it exciting to be in a place that you have seen on TV . My favorite part of the tour was getting to see all the dressing rooms backstage. That night, we went out to two different bars in Nashville. We also went to a souvenir store and a candy store. I love going shopping at souvenir stores, and Nashville has some really good ones. It was a great vacation day!

June 27th

This was the day that we left Nashville and visited three fun attractions. Those attractions were Rock City , the Incline Railway , and Ruby Falls. Rock City is a very interesting attraction that has great views and lots of fun art based on fairy tales. The incline railway is an attraction that I really recommend visiting if you get the chance to. I never knew that a train could go on a track that were steep. When the train gets to the top, you are rewarded with beautiful views and a gift shop. The ride back down is pretty amazing as well. Our third attraction of the day was the beautiful Ruby Falls. Before going on our tour we got some lunch at the cafeteria. The flatbread that I had there was really good. Going down to the caves was exciting, and the falls were truly beautiful. I also highly recommend this beautiful and thrilling attraction. This was a day that was full of adventure.

June 28th

On this day, we did one of my favorite things to do while traveling, we went to the zoo. We went to the Chattanooga Zoo. This zoo is on the small side, but don’t let that stop you from exploring it. I got to see some very cute and interesting animals, including a red panda, a snake neck turtle, meerkats, and a tortoise. I got to feed a giraffe, that was a lot of fun. I also got to ride the beautiful carousel here twice. I loved that the horse I rode on had a purple ribbon on it. Our second adventure of the day was going to the Lost Sea adventure. This attraction is where you get to visit an underground lake. It was truly amazing to get to ride on a boat underground. I recommend visiting this exciting attraction if you get the chance to.

Thank you for reading this part of my Tennessee adventure.
