painting lamas !

Hello, my bucket list, friends! I love art kits, so I wanted to write a quick post telling you about my latest art kit adventure. On Monday, I had the day off, so I had time to open one of the many art kits that I have. This kit was one of my favorite kinds of art kits. It is a simple painting art kit. This kit came with two lamas , two sets of paint, and two paint brushes. I had a fun time painting the lamas. I made them pretty colorful, and I love how both of them look.

Breaktime shopping

Hello, my bucket list friends! As I have mentioned before I got a job at Walgreens. One of the things I like about working there is getting to go shopping on my breaks. I love seeing new products when they come in, I also love seeing what items are on clearance. Saturday on my break I got a notebook, pens , two Kinder Joy eggs, juice with a toy on top, and some socks that have a coffee mug pattern. On Friday I got some butterfly hair clips that were on sale. Thursday I got a fun nail art kit that comes with a ring and I also bought a Hot Wheels car. In addition to that I got another Hot Wheels car yesterday! I’m looking forward to Christmas time for many reasons but one reason is that I know there will be a lot of fun items that I will want to buy when I’m on my breaks!

A rant about fall and my I don’t like fall playlist

Hello, my bucket list, friends! Here we are in my least favorite season. This is the first official day of fall, and culturally, summer ended on Labor Day weekend. It is not a big secret that summer is my favorite season. I get sad when it ends and fall starts. Although there have been some exceptions, overall summer is time of adventure ,fun, and relaxation. Fall, on the other hand, is typically slow and tedious. In addition to that, there are many other things I don’t like about fall time, such as the fact that it reminds me of back to school time. I was not a fan of school, so I don’t have good memories about having to say goodbye to summer vacation and go back to school. Another thing I don’t like about fall time is the strange obsession with all things pumpkin. I mean, I will admit pumpkin patches are fun. However, all the pumpkin flavored food is not fun. You can find pumpkin flavored cereal, crackers, coffee, and more. You may notice that it is almost always pumpkin spice flavored, though, because I guess no one actually wants things that are straight pumpkin flavored, so they have to cover it up with spices. Then we have Halloween. I have celebrated Halloween in the past, but the more I think about it and the more I read about it the more I want to stop celebrating it. Even on the surface, it is easy to see that Halloween has a focus on death, fear, and pain. However, my light bulb moment was when I could not explain what or why I was celebrating. Every other holiday I celebrate, such as Christmas, New Year’s Eve, or the 4th of July, I could easily answer that question. As a Christian, Halloween has been a controversial subject for a long time, and I’ve gone back and forth, but now I feel strong about not celebrating it going forward. Honesty, I don’t believe that I will miss celebrating it. Oh, and I will end this rant, but saying it is no fun when it gets dark at 6 pm and also dead leaves are overrated.

Barbie color reveal, shopping at Savers, and more!

Hello, my bucket list, friends! Overall, so far, September has been a busy month as far as work goes, and that’s a good thing! However, I have not had a whole lot of fun adventures this month. but there have been a few highlights that I wanted to share with you. Without any more delay, let’s get to it!

September 15th – I had this day off. With my free time, I decided to see what Barbie color reveal doll I had gotten. I had bought her at Target, but I had not gotten around to seeing what doll I got in the totally denim series. All the dolls looked cool. The doll that I got was mainly pink with a fun butterfly pattern. I want to get more dolls in this series. My big highlight of the day was going to Savers. At Savers, I got a Barbie doll who had a cute necklace on but also needed some TLC. Her face was very dirty but I was able to clean her when I got home. I’m happy that I rescued her. The other items that I got at Savers on this day are an unopened bead kit, some books including American Girl books, two TY Beanie Babies , a bag of hair bows , a paint your own tea set art kit, and a Build a Bear plush. After Savers, I quickly went to the Safeway next to Savers to get something I needed, but I also got two Hot Wheels cars. They have them at a really good price at Safeway. That night, I started painting my tea set. The paint was no longer in the set, but I had paint that I could use. I had fun painting dots on the plates. It was an overall good day!

September 16th – On this day I had work in the afternoon. I started off the day by going to brunch at a neighbor’s house. It was fun getting to see and talk to some of my neighbors. My next big highlights of the day were going to Starbucks and the park. During my break at work I went shopping. I got another bead kit and an art kit. The art kits come with two lamas that you paint. I was very excited about the things that I bought on my break. It was another pretty good day!

September 17th – I also worked in the afternoon on this day . I went and got coffee and went to church before work. After church, I went to Starbucks, and I got a pink drink. At work during my break, I bought two new Kiner joy eggs that have animal toys in them. It was another good day.

September 18th – On this day, I went to work, and during my break, I bought a Hot Wheels monster truck that was Barbie themed. After work, I went to Safeway, where I got two juice drinks that come with toys. I really like the monster truck I got!

My review of Coca-Cola’s new flavor Y3000

Hello, my bucket list, friends! It is time for another dink review! When I first heard that Coca-Cola was coming out with a new flavor that was made with the help of AI, I knew I had to try it! I’ve so far enjoyed trying the other flavors in the creations series. I was very curious to see what this flavor would taste like. On the bottle, it says that it is futuristic flavored. After trying the soda, I can say that I’m not sure what the future tastes like, but it’s pretty good. I don’t get a lot of the original coke flavor in this drink, and I’m not sure how to describe it. I kind of taste a candy flavor with maybe some cherry flavor in there. Honestly, I can’t really place it, but I like it. If you like sweet sodas you will probably like this. I do recommend trying this, but it will be prepared for a taste that is pleasant but confusing.

A decoupage art kit and a trip to Target

Hello, my bucket list, friends! While the summer months are pretty jammed packed with adventure, these next few months are pretty slow. However, I’m pretty good at finding things to blog about. Anyways, on Wednesday I had the day off, and I did two fun things. The first thing I want to talk about is the decoupage art kit that I got from The Goodwill in Connecticut. I have had this kit since June, and I have been wanting to use it for a while. I finally used it and I have to say I loved doing decoupage and I want to do it again. The cat that I made with the kit turned out super cute, and I want to do another kit like this one, but I have not seen many of them around. The second thing I did on Wednesday that I wanted to talk about was that I went to Target. One of the main reasons that I wanted to go to Target was to get a new Barbie color reveal doll. When I was at Target, I debated if I should get one or two color reveal dolls.  I decided to get one doll and a Barbie activity kit. Some other fun things I got were two pairs of socks, a pencil pouch, and a bath bomb with a prize inside. I also got two Kinder Joy eggs. The Kiner Joy eggs I got were a part of the National Parks series. I had not seen those kind in a while so I looked and I saw that they were expired. I still wanted the toys that were in them, so I asked for and got a discount on them. After my Target fun, I got coffee before going home. It was a pretty great day off.

Bucket list number 301 tie-dye a plush animal

Hello, my bucket list friends. I’m happy to say that I have crossed another item off of my bucket list! I actually started this item on the last day of August, but because tie- dye has to sit for a while, it was September when I finished it. In order to complete this bucket list item, I ordered a Build a Bear Workshop brand tye -dye kit from eBay. It was pretty easy to use. I do wish that the bear was bigger, but other than that, it was perfect for crossing this fun item off of my bucket list. I’m glad I crossed this item off, and I wonder what item I will cross off next since I don’t have any plans to cross off another item right now.
