Hello, my bucket list, friends! I love summertime so much! It is always hard for me when it is time to say goodbye to it. It does not help that I really don’t like fall either. However, in this post, I want to focus on how great this summer was!
Travel – I got to do a lot of traveling this summer. My first big trip was to Connecticut in June. I also went on an amazing adventure in Las Vegas with my mom and my friend. Another trip I went on was a road trip to Oxnard to see the Dallas Cowboys at training camp. My final big trip of the summer was going to Idaho to visit my family. I’m glad I got to do a lot of traveling this summer
Bucket list items – I crossed three bucket list items off this summer! I crossed off number 265 and visited the Pez factory , number 272 eat at the Amy’s restaurant, and number 15, go to Las Vegas!
Museums – I got to visit some cool museums this summer, including the carousel museum and the Jelly Belly museum.
Thrift shopping – I got to do a lot of thrift shopping this summer. I went to my favorite local thrift stores and I also went thrift shopping in Idaho and Connecticut.
My mall weekend tradition – I have a tradition of picking a weekend and going to the Dollar Tree on Friday and then going to the mall on Saturday. I had a lot of fun this year shopping at some of my favorite places.
Swimming – I got to do a good amount of swimming this year. I went swimming a lot when I was in Oxnard. I’m really blessed that I got to go swimming as much as I did.
Outdoor fun – I got to do some fun outdoor activities this summer. I enjoyed walking at a local park , visiting Kent Falls State Park, going to two different zoos, and exploring hot springs in Idaho.
Celebrating the fourth of July – I had a great time celebrating the 4th of July this year. I went to an event that included fireworks.
