Don’t let the rain keep you from the park!

Hello, my bucket list friends! It’s not raining today but for the past two days it has been. Also for the past two days I have gone for a walk in the park. Oftentimes I let the rain keep me from going outside. However lately I’ve come to the realization that as long as it’s safe to go outside meaning no lightning ,high winds or other unsafe conditions, Going outside in the rain can be just as fun as going out in the sun. One major benefit of going out when it’s raining is that outdoor spaces are a lot less crowded and I’ve learned that walking in the rain is just as relaxing as walking in the sun as long as it’s not raining too hard that is .

kit kat mocha +chocolate review

Hello, my bucket list friends! When I was in Walgreens the other day ,I saw an interesting candy bar and knew I just had to try it. It was a mocha flavored Kit Kat bar. I like Kit Kat bars and I love coffee so I was very interested to see how this candy bar would taste. I’ll get right to the point I loved this candy bar. The mocha taste was simply amazing. I felt like I was enjoying a fancy and expensive candy bar. If you love coffee I highly recommend trying this candy if you get the chance.

My wonderful day off !

Hello, my bucket list friends! Friday was one of my days off from work this week and it turned out be a really good day so I decided to write a post about it! First things first I got an article published on Vocal Media! Blogging helped me to find my love for writing and now I don’t want to stop! I would love to be a professional writer one day. ( You can read my Vocal article HERE) Also on my day off I went to two of my favorite places Starbucks and the Dollar Tree. I got coffee from Starbucks and walked around with my mom and the neighbor’s dog at a small park. Then it was time to go to the Dollar Tree. At the Dollar Tree, I got some fun craft kits. The Dollar Tree already has some of their Easter stuff out and I just had to get some of the Easter themed craft kits! I also got some Crayola heart shaped bath bombs. I’m excited to use the bath bombs and the craft kits. To sum this all up between getting coffee, going to the Dollar tree, and getting an article published it was a truly wonderful day. I hope all of you are having wonderful days as well.

Light heart book club January 2021 book discussion

Hello, my bucket list friends ! I’m very excited about this month’s book discussion for two reasons one because this post is on time and the other reason being I really loved this book! This month’s book was Amazing Acrobats by Meredith Costain and illustrated by Danielle McDonald. As always there is just one more thing. The following post contains major plot points ( Spoilers ) for the book . If you want to read the book and haven’t yet, I suggest you wait to read this post until you have finished the book. Now, let’s get into our discussion!

My favorite part of the book – I had so many favorite parts in this book but one that stands out to me was when Olivia found out about a free circus skills workshop. I was happy that she had found a better place to practice her circus skills other than her back yard and I’m pretty sure her mom was too after what happened to her vegetable garden!

My least favorite part of the book – It was hard seeing Olivia’s friend Matilda struggle with her fear of hanging upside-down but I was so happy for her when she overcame that fear.

Activity – In the beginning of the book Oliva begans practicing her acrobatics on the playground at her school. She practiced on the monkey bars a lot. When I crossed off go to three playgrounds in one day off my bucket list I made sure to visit the monkey bars. However I’m not near as skilled as Olivia is !

Breyer horse art kit

Hello, my bucket list friends! I recently did a really cool art kit. I love Breyer horses and when I saw this art kit I knew I would enjoy it. This craft kit is a simple painting art kit. I’ve done other kits similar to this one. However I liked that this kit had bigger paint containers then other kits I’ve used. It is also worth noting that the horse figure and the paint in this kit seemed to be high quality. It’s no surprise but I enjoyed this craft kit and I love the horse figure I painted.

Best bath bomb so far !

Hello, my bucket list friends! I want to really work on slowing down this year and taking time to relax. One of the ways I’ve been doing that is by taking relaxing baths. I’ve gotten more and more into using bath bombs. I ordered a four bath bombs online from this company called Two Sisters Spa. I used one of the bath bombs I ordered from there last night and it is the best bath bomb I’ve used so far. It’s smelled like candy, turned the water a beautiful blue color and it had a unicorn toy inside! I can’t wait to try the other bath bombs that I ordered from them.
