I got to see my friend!!!!!!

Hello, my bucket list, friends! The older I get, the harder it is to see my friends. That is why I’m so excited that on Wednesday I got to see my friend. We did spend New Years together, so it had not been that long since we had last seen each other. We didn’t really have any set plans for our time together, but we did know that we wanted to get food. We decided to go to Panera Bread to get food. we also went to Savers and McDonalds. At Savers, I got a Barbie doll, a my little pony toy that sings and lots of books. I was very excited about the Barbie books that I got. However, it does not really matter what you do when you hang out with your friend as long as you get to spend time together. We also got to walk a very cute dog. It was a great day! I hope to have many more days this year where I get to see my friends.

Books, walking and two more Kinder eggs !

Hello, my bucket list, friends! I had a pretty good day on Tuesday, so I decided to write a blog post about it. There is a book store not to far from where I live that has both used and new books. I like to go there to get their used books because new books are pretty pricey. Yesterday I  went there to see what I could find. I was hoping to get some American Girl books, but they did not have any. However, I did get a My Little Pony book, a Barbie book, and another book that looked like it would be good. The prices were really good since all the books I got were used. After the book store, my mom and I went for a walk on one of my favorite local walking trails. Before we had gone to the books store we went to Starbucks so I took my coffee on the walk with us. It was a windy day, so it was a little on the cold side, but it was not bad over all. I was happy to be walking on that trail again. When we had finished our walk, we went to Safeway. I was pretty hungry after the walk. I got some regular food items, of course, like bread and fruit, but I also got two Kinder Joy eggs and a new flavor. Coke a Cola that I’m excited to try and review. It was a pretty fun day!

Hello, sunshine. My weekend in review

Hello, my bucket list, friends! I’m happy to say that there was finally some sun this weekend! I’m truly a California girl,I want sunshine in every season. I also went shopping at Walgreens, and I went to Candy store that I had never been to before. I’m excited to tell you more about it, so let’s get to it!

Friday – I worked the evening shift on this day. Before work, I went to Starbucks and the camdy store. After work, I went to Safeway to stock up on food. While I was there, I saw that there were some Barbie Valentine’s Day cards on sale, so I got those. I also got two kinder joy eggs. That were themed for Easter. I haven’t opened them yet, but I’m excited to see what toys I got.

Saturday  – I also worked the evening shift on this day. However, before work, I went on a few adventures. The first place I went was Walgreens. I bought a few fun things at Walgreens, including new earbuds, a container of Valentines Day toys, a Pez dispenser, and a surprise plush toy. After Walgreens, we went to Pet Co, then Starbucks. Coffee is always a highlight of my day. After all of that we went to the park for a walk. It was a really nice day. I also went down the slide at the playground . Then it was time to go to work. Work went well. I love being around all the beautiful plants. That night, I made pasta for dinner. I was a good Saturday.

Sunday – I had the day off today. I started the day off by going to get coffee and a doughnut before going to church. It had been I few weeks since I went to church, so it felt good to be back in church. After church we went to get more coffee before going to meet my sister for lunch. For lunch, we went to this pizza place that I had never been to before. I had pasta and veggies . I really enjoyed it. I also got a toy from a vending machine at the restaurant. After lunch, we walked around, and we found a cute spot to take a family picture. As we were walking around town, I saw a candy store, and I had to check it out. I got candy and two rings. I also got a really good picture of me on this huge chair that they had in the candy store. It was a good way to end the weekend.

Taking walks, taking pictures, making a mess, and drinking coffee

Hello, my bucket list, friends! January seemed to go by pretty fast, but here we are in February, and it seems to be dragging slowly by at times. It’s probably partly due to the cold. I’m a summer girl. I’m not a huge fan of the cold and having to bundle up. Don’t get me wrong. This is an important season, but I would rather have sunshine and flipflops. I’m looking forward to the summer, and I hope time starts to pick up a bit and then slows down again when the summertime gets here. I have big plans for the summer so I have to stop my spending for a while to save up and that is already frustrating me. Anyways I should probably stop ranting and get on with the post. I started this post so I could write about what I did yesterday. I had the day off yesterday, and I stayed home for most of the day. I posted an article on Vocal Media. ( You can read it HERE ) I was also watching my neighbor’s dog, so we went on a walk. On our walk, I took a bunch of photos, including one of a deer. It is not a very good picture because the deer was kind of faraway, but I’m happy I got to see it. Walks are good for my health, so I was kind of glad that the dog made me get out and walk. Later on in the day, I got a craft kit from my room and brought it up to the table. It was a craft kit where you put colorful gems on plastic figures. I ended up getting frustrated with how hard it was to put the gemstones on that I just ended up dumping the gems on the plastic figure that I had chosen. It made a big mess, but I’m ok with how the project turned out, but I won’t be buying any more kits like this in the future. The highlight of yesterday was going to Starbucks. After Starbucks, I went on another walk. It was an okay day overall, and I’m glad I learned more about what kinds of craft kits not to buy!

My Valentine’s Day fun 2023

Hello, my bucket list friends! I hope you had a wonderful Valentine’s Day. I know Valentine’s Day can sometimes feel like an exclusive holiday but it is really a holiday that anyone can celebrate. I wrote an article about Valentine’s day on vocal media. ( You can read it HERE) This year I had a great time celebrating Valentine’s day. I had the day off from work and I took it easy. I published a blog post about my weekend. ( You can read it HERE) I also decided to do an art kit. I have a lot of art kits in my room just waiting for me to use them. Yesterday, I decided to do an art kit where you paint a butterfly magnet. I enjoyed doing this simple craft kit. I find painting to be very relaxing and I really like the way that my butterfly magnet looked when I was done. However, the big highlight of my day was going to to dinner with my mom and some friends at my favorite local Mexican restaurant. The food was amazing as always and I really enjoyed spending time with some fun people. It was one of the best Valentine’s days that I have ever had.

My first movie of 2023 plus going to Target and more!

Hello, my bucket list, friends! Another weekend has come to an end so now I’m going to write about it! This weekend was full of some of my favorite things, and I can’t wait to tell you about it. without any more delay, here we go!

Friday – I worked the closing shift on this day, but I went into town a little early, so I would have time to go to the toy store before my shift started. At the toy store, I got some frog stickers, a ring shaped like a panda head, a toy car, and two shaped erasers. After the toy store, I still had a good amount of time before work, so I went to the candy store where I got a lollipop that has purple sparkly lips on the stick. After all of that, I still had one more thing to do before my shift started. I went to get coffee at a local coffee shop that is close to my work. Then I went to work. Work went well, I love being in a store that is full of beautiful plants.

Saturday – I had this day off, and I made sure to plan some fun things for the day. I got tickets to see 80 for Brady, a movie that I had been wanting to. If you have not heard of this movie, I recommend looking it up. The movie theater we went to was located in my favorite mall. We had some time before the movie so we went to Claire’s. They were having the three for three sale that they have often. I went to the clearance rack, and I got some fun items, including a hair bow and a ring. After Claire’s, we walked back to the theater. I got coffee, and my mom got tea at the theater. Then it was movie time. I won’t give anything away, but the movie was so good. I highly recommend going to see it. It was a lot of fun to watch and it was also inspiring. After the movie, we went to the Target that is part of the mall. At Target, I got another My First Barbie doll. I already had the one with blond hair, so this time, I got the one with brown hair. I’m excited to have this doll in my collection. In the dollar section, I got two small craft kits and a Disney activity kit. After that, we left the mall and went to the hardware store to get some bird seed. At the hardware store, I got two squishy toys. Before we went home, we went to Starbucks, and I got coffee and a cakepop. It was a good way to wrap up my adventures for the day. I went home and relaxed, but I did get a visit from my neighbor’s very cute dog. I also made pasta for dinner. It was a really fun day.

Sunday – I worked the opening shift this day. Of course, I went to Starbucks before going to work. After a normal day at work , my mom picked me up, and we stopped at Safeway before going home to watch the Super Bowl. At Safeway, in addition to food items, I also got a cute bunny toy at Safeway. I did enjoy watching the Super Bowl, but I was hoping for more from the commercials. However, there were a few commercials that did stand out, but overall, they were not as good as they have been in previous years. I really liked the Amazon add with the dog. I wish there would have been more ads like that. Anyways, watching the Super Bowl was a good way to end the weekend.

Thanks for reading about my weekend fun !

I read about a weird trend so I decided to try it

Hello, my bucket list, friends! I’m always on the lookout for things to try for my blog. Recently, I came across THIS article on Buzz Feed. The article discussed a trend where people are eating oranges in the shower. As soon as I read the article, I knew that I wanted to try it. I love the smell of oranges, and when you open an orange in the shower, the smell is more powerful. It’s something I never thought about before, but it makes sense. Also, one of the points that the article made about eating oranges in the shower was that you don’t have to worry about making a mess by getting the juice everywhere. I was excited to try this trend because I like oranges, and it would be an easy thing to do. I got an orange out of the refrigerator and then went to warm up the shower like I normally do. I didn’t find out until after my shower, but the fruit I had was actually a mix of a clementine and an orange. Once the shower was warmed up, I got in with my orange. The citrus smell did seem to be more powerful than normal, but since I love that smell, it was fine with me. The orange that I had was in the refrigerator for a while, so it was nice and cold. It was very refreshing when combined with the warm water of the shower. I had fun doing this because it was something different and interesting. It might seem strange, but I can say for me that eating an orange in the shower was enjoyable. If you like oranges, I will say that this trend is worth trying even if it sounds weird at first.

I tried Nitro Pepsi

Hello, my bucket list, friends! Sometimes, I see interesting things while I’m at the grocery store that I want to try and review. Nitro Pepsi is one of those items. I’ve had the can sitting in my refrigerator for a while now, and last night, I decided to finally try it and review it. Typically, when it comes to soda, I drink it straight from the can. However, when I looked at the instructions online, it said to pour the soda into a tall glass with no ice. It also said to turn the can completely upside-down when you are pouring it. I followed the directions so I could give an accurate review. I also set up my phone on the counter and recorded the process of me pouring and trying the soda. With all that being said, let’s get to the actual review part. I had a lot of fun pouring the soda. It was pretty normal at first, but when the foam appeared, it made me really happy. You can see my smile in the screenshots I took from the video. It was really fun to pour the soda and watch the foam come to the top. I had to sip it at one point so it would not overflow. As for the taste of the soda, it was smooth and very easy to drink. I drank it a lot faster than I usually drink soda. It had that wonderful cola taste that soda drinkers love. I highly recommend trying Nitro Pepsi at least once, especially if you are a soda fan. I do have to say that my favorite part of Nitro Pepsi was pouring it into the glass. Watching the foam just made me really happy.

Thanks for reading my review of Nitro Pepsi .

The weekend where I spilled a lot of coffee, but I also got Hot Wheels cars

Hello, my bucket list, friends! This weekend was a bit of a roller coaster! There were lots of ups and downs, but I’m once again reminded that God is in control, and it’s a good thing that he is in charge, and I’m not.

Friday – This day was the most normal of the three days. I went to work and enjoyed my time in the plant store. I must be breathing really good air because there are a lot of plants in the small store. Before work, I went and got Starbucks, and I also got Starbucks after work. However, this is the one day I’m gonna tell you about where I didn’t spill coffee everywhere! After my second trip to Starbucks,my mom and I went to Whole Foods. I got some good stuff there, but the two items that I was the most excited about were a tin of cinnamon mints and a box of fruit snacks. I got a different brand of fruit snack than I normally do. However, this brand also comes with trading cards! It was a good way to start the weekend.

Saturday – This day started off pretty well. I was working the closing shift at work. I spent the morning taking it easy at home. Before work,we went to get coffee. After picking up the coffee, we went to Safeway. As we were in the Safeway parking lot, the lid fell off my coffee as I was holding it. Coffee went everywhere! My jeans were soaked with coffee! I hate wearing wet denim. It is so uncomfortable. The good thing was that I had a backpack in the car that had clothes in it. I put a towel over my lap and quickly changed. However, the pants I got out of the backpack were actually capris, so that meant I had to get a razor to make my legs appropriate. I was stressed, but I was looking forward to getting Kinder Joy eggs in Safeway. I got four Kinder Joy eggs, but I also got some Hot Wheels cars. There was a sale on them. One of the cars that I got is a model of a car made in the 80s. The other one looks like it’s covered in toy blocks. I was happy to get some more toys to add to my collection. When I got back to the car, I used lotion to shave my legs. I felt relieved because everything fell into place. The coffee incident was stressful, but I was ready to go to work anyway. I was happy to see my plant friends, and I made a cute reel about working in a plant store. ( My Instagram username is summerrockstar if you want to see it ) Oh, and it was also Alice Cooper’s birthday. I made a special post for his birthday. The day turned out well, even though it had a very stressful moment.

Sunday – I had the day off, but I did go into work for a moment to help with something really quickly. After that, we went to Starbucks. I would soon find out that I was not done with spilling coffee all over myself. While I was ordering coffee on my phone, I accidentally ordered two of my drinks instead of one for me and one for my mom. I did another order for her. I thought that would be the end of my coffee problems, but I was wrong. First, during a turn, the two coffees in the cup holder tipped over and spilled all over my mom while she was driving. The good thing was that there was still plenty of coffee in the drinks that tipped over. However, the drink that I was holding in my lap fell over shortly after the other coffees tipped over. This time, all of the coffee spilled out. This was very stressful, but at least I still had a coffee to drink. The good thing is that the day got better because we had lunch at a Chinese restaurant. The food was amazing. It was a good end to a kind of crazy day.

Thanks for reading about my coffee spilling weekend
