Power outage life !

Hello,my bucket list friends ! As many of you have probably seen on the news California is experiencing planed power outages due to winds and fire danger. Since I don’t really have anything else to blog about right now, let’s talk about the power outage here we go !

Power outage life !

Here’s the thing I’ve lived in the mountains my whole life. I’m no stranger to power outages , fallen trees and even fallen power poles. When I heard about the planned power outage I wasn’t really that upset about it, I wasn’t excited about it of course but since I’m used to power outages and many people in my neighborhood including my family have generators I knew how things would go. This is the second time we have been effected by the scheduled outages. The first time was about a week ago and lasted for a day. With this outage we are going on day four. Yes, it is inconvenient even with our generator there are things we can’t do such as wash clothes and use the microwave. We also have to turn the generator of at night because it is on the noisy side but hey that’s what flash lights are for. Other then that life has pretty much continued on as normal. I know for the people who don’t have generators things have been harder for them but overall things feel pretty much the same. I do hope that these scheduled outages  stop soon so the news can talk about something else maybe even something happy. I know that’s very unlikely but a girl can dream!

My very own puzzle!

Hello, my bucket list friends ! At summer camp many years ago I remember doing a make your on puzzle activity and really enjoying it. A while ago I bought my own blank puzzle to decorate. Yesterday I decided to turn my blank puzzle into a work of art. I can’t wait to tell you about my own personalized puzzle so here we go !

My very own puzzle!

The blank puzzle had been sitting on my arts and crafts shelf for awhile and I decided that yesterday was the day to turn it from blank to colorful. I chose to use sharpie markers to decorate my puzzle. I wan’st sure what to draw at first . I was deciding between an under water seen and a classic sunny day seen. I decided on a sunny day picture it was a sunny day after all! I started by drawing a smiling sunshine in the corner. After that my creativity went wild as I drew flowers, balloons, butterflies, and more ! As I worked to fill up as much blank space as possible I began to love my puzzle more and more! It was a bit difficult to draw on the puzzle pieces where they connected but overall I really enjoyed making my own puzzle and I love the way it turned out. I would totally buy another blank puzzle. If you are looking for a fun and easy project to do I highly recommend this. I got mine at Michaels but they are available other places as well. Rock On – Christina Epperly

Arts and crafts fun Oct. 2019

Hello, my bucket list friends ! I recently got to do one of my favorite things arts and crafts kits ! I can’t wait to tell you what I created this time so here we go !

Arts and crafts fun Oct. 2019

Disney glitter globe kit – I’ve been eyeing this kit at for a while and I finally picked it up. They had a few princess to chose from. I chose Ariel .When it came time to put the globe together there was a lack of directions but I kind of figured it out. It was hard to put the stickers in and I couldn’t figure out how to secure the background on. It looked ok when I finished it but it did leak a bit. This craft kit was a difficult to put together but I’m glad I tried it!

Sand art kit – I love doing sand art I remember doing it when I was a kid. I found this kit at Target. It came with two plastic molds for sand art. One was a large moon and the other was a shooting star that could be put on a necklace. They included a string for the shooting star necklace. I found the kit fun and easy to use . I really liked the way my art turned out. Instructions were included in this kit but I found it easy to use even with out them. This was my favorite kit out of the three I used this time.

My Little Pony pop outz ! – This simple kit came with two ponies and three markers. The ponies came with little stands so you could display your art when you finished. I used some of my own markers to color the ponies as well as the ones that came with the kit. I enjoyed coloring them and I’m happy with the way they tuned out.

My first escape room

Hello, my bucket list friends ! I recently had my first experience with an escape room and I can’t wait to tell you about it so here we go !

My first escape room

My cousin had gotten some tickets to an escape room but the person she was planning on going with wouldn’t be able to go until after the tickets expired so she asked me to join her on this adventure. Escape rooms have been popular for a while now but I hadn’t had the chance to experience one yet. When we got to the escape room I was both nervous and excited! When we were in the waiting room I was happy to see that there were other people joining us for this adventure the more minds the better. I don’t want to give any thing away but it was quite challenging . You really have to work together to complete all the puzzles. We had an hour to complete all the puzzles and escape and I’m happy to say that we did it ! We didn’t have much time left but we still won ! It was an interesting and exciting experience. I would do an escape room again.

Days like this :)

Hello, my bucket list friends! Do you ever have day where you wish that every day could be like that, well last Wednesday was like that and I can’t wait to tell you why. Here we go!

Days like this 🙂

Last Wednesday I had the day off just like I had the week before. (You can read about the week before HERE) I started off the day with no plans then my awesome friend Amy asked if I wanted to hang out with her. Since it can be hard to find time to hang out when your an adult , I jumped at the chance! We didn’t have any solid plans when she picked me up but we ended up doing some of our favorite things. We went to Jack in the box for shakes ,then we headed off to Goodwill to see what we could find. We both found some really cool things. Amy found a bunch of fun stuff for her class room as well as two cute pairs of jeans. I found a My Little Pony dvd that was brand new, a craft kit where you melt beads to make a sun catcher, a photo album and four shirts. We probably spent close to two hours in the Goodwill looking for treasures. I love days like this when you get to be with amazing people and do fun things, I love the days when I can say yes to a spontaneous invitation. What kind of days do you like best ?   Rock On- Christina Epperly

A bunch of American Girl magazines

Hello, my bucket list friends ! My last E bay Order recently arrived and it was a box full of a whole bunch of American Girl magazines. I’ve been having a great time looking through them and I can’t wait to tell you all about it here we go !

A bunch of American Girl magazines

I bought a bunch of American Girl  magazines on Ebay. The magazines range in year from 1997 to 2005. It’s interesting to see how the look of the magazines changed over the years. In one of the magazines from 2005 there was an insert that had paper door hangers that you could cut out. I picked out the one I liked the best wrote my name on it and put it on my door.  The magazines are filled with interesting stories and tons of great ideas for cooking projects, games and arts and crafts projects. I can’t wait to try out some of the ideas in the magazines! I also I can’t wait to tell you all about it once I do some of the fun project ideas that the magazines have to offer.

Things I love September 2019

Hello, my bucket list friends! I’m pretty excited about this post because it’s not late like a lot of my other things I love posts have been! I have some fun things to talk about so here we go !

Breyer mystery horses and unicorns

I was very happy last weekend when my mom said she needed to go to a store next to a cute little toy store. I had gotten a Breyer surprise horse there before a while ago. When I went into to the toy store I was excited to see that they had the Breyer mystery horses and unicorns they were much bigger then the ones I had seen before. I got two horses and two unicorns. Altogether they cost a little over 20 dollars. I was very happy with the size , look and price of the toys. I highly recommend these toys for Breyer fans on a budget.

Ebay

Shopping on Ebay kind of became my hobby this month. I got some really awesome things that I was very happy to welcome into my collections. ( You can read all about it HERE and HERE)

Claire’s

I got to got to my favorite mall store twice this month. The 2nd time I went with a friend and we both had a fun time picking out items from this amazing store. My favorite item that I got was this necklace with hearts on it ! I hope I get to visit this store again in October.

My new purse

It was time for a new purse and I found the perfect one at the Good Will it’s covered in little owls. I really love it. It’s also not a cross body purse so I’m having less shoulder pain then I did with my old purse.

Summer slideshows

I put up some fun slide shows of my summer on You Tube click on the numbers to see them. 1,2,3,4
