Hello,my bucket list friends! As I write this sentence I’m in the Salt Lake City airport ready to head home. Before I get any further into this post, I have to say that I had a truly amazing vacation. I can’t wait to tell you more about it so let’s start at the beginning. My vacation started on June 8th when my mom and I landed at the Salt Lake City airport. As soon as we got off the plane I was ready to head to a store to buy some souvenirs. My favorite thing that I got that first day is a Hippo plush wearing a Salt Lake City shirt. After we checked in to our hotel we went looking for somewhere to eat. We ended up eating at Buca Di Beppo. I love pasta so that is what I got there. After dinner we walked around downtown for a bit before going back to our hotel. The next day we had plans to see two attractions. The first one was Red Butte Gardens. This huge garden is simply amazing to look at. There is just so much to see. I love the roses and the bee houses. Since I’m a big kid at heart the children’s garden was my favorite. If you’re ever in Salt Lake City I highly recommend going there. Next we went to we went next door to the natural history museum. This is a great museum to explore. I enjoyed seeing the dinosaur exhibit and this exhibit that they had set up on archeology. I also enjoyed watching the ants that were in a globe-shaped ant house. After our two big adventures we headed over to the City Creek Center which is a mall in Salt Lake City. The mall is pretty awesome because it has a river that runs through it and a sky bridge that connects two parts of the mall together. We went to Lush and I got two bath bombs we also went to this restaurant there called Core Life. They have some really great tasting food that’s also healthy as well. We also went to a souvenir store that was just a little bit of a walk from the mall. I got this really cute book there called Hello Utah. It is a children’s book but I just fell in love with it. I wonder if there is a California book in the same series. That wraps up part one of my Utah adventure. Thanks for reading!
