Bucket list items I crossed off in Los Angeles 2021

Hello, my bucket list friends! I had so much fun exploring Los Angeles in July. I did a few of posts about it but what I didn’t mention was some of the places I visited were actually bucket list items! I wanted to highlight them in their own post so let’s get to it.

Visit the Getty Center 277 – I would love to visit this beautiful place again. It is filled with so much amazing art.

Take a bus tour of Hollywood 253 – I took two bus tours while I was in Los Angeles. They were both a lot of fun. I especially liked the one that took us up the hills where the celebrities live.

Visit the Griffith observatory 276 – Amazing views and interesting exhibits this a place to add to your list if you are in Los Angeles

Go to the Grove in Los Angeles 238 – The American Girl store here was so much fun to explore! I wish I lived closer to this location. I would visit as much as I could.

See the La Brea tar pits 226 – This was a very interesting place to visit. I enjoyed seeing the tar pits as well as the exhibits inside the museum.

Thanks for reading! Happy bucket listing!

Utah adventure part one

Hello,my bucket list friends! As I write this sentence I’m in the Salt Lake City airport ready to head home. Before I get any further into this post, I have to say that I had a truly amazing vacation. I can’t wait to tell you more about it so let’s start at the beginning. My vacation started on June 8th when my mom and I landed at the Salt Lake City airport. As soon as we got off the plane I was ready to head to a store to buy some souvenirs. My favorite thing that I got that first day is a Hippo plush wearing a Salt Lake City shirt. After we checked in to our hotel we went looking for somewhere to eat. We ended up eating  at Buca Di Beppo.  I love pasta so that is what I got there. After dinner we walked around downtown for a bit before going back to our hotel. The next day we had plans to see two attractions. The first one was Red Butte Gardens. This huge garden is simply amazing to look at. There is just so much to see. I love the roses and the bee houses. Since I’m a big kid at heart the children’s garden was my favorite. If you’re ever in Salt Lake City I highly recommend going there. Next we went to we went next door to the natural history museum. This is a great museum to explore. I enjoyed seeing the dinosaur exhibit and this exhibit that they had set up on archeology. I also enjoyed watching the ants that were in a globe-shaped ant house. After our two big adventures we headed over to the City Creek Center which is a mall in Salt Lake City. The mall is pretty awesome because it has a river that runs through it and a sky bridge that connects two parts of the mall together. We went to Lush and I got two bath bombs we also went  to this restaurant there called Core Life. They have some really great tasting food that’s also healthy as well. We also went to a souvenir store that was just a little bit of a walk from the mall. I got this really cute book there called Hello Utah. It is a children’s book but I just fell in love with it. I wonder if there is a California book in the same series. That wraps up part one of my Utah adventure. Thanks for reading!

I love my glittery nails and other thoughts :)

Hello,my bucket list friends ! Today is one of those days when I have a lot of random things that I want to write about so I decided to put them all in one post. Here we go.

I love my glittery nails ! My friend Amy and I got our nails done together. She got this beautiful blue color on her toes and I got pink and purple with glitter on my finger nails. I’m so glad that I decided to get a gel manicure because my nails still look amazing over a week after I got them done!

I can’t wait for my doll to return from the hospital. – I know that’s a weird sentence to read but I had to send one of my American Girl dolls off for repairs. I think it was last week or maybe the week before I sent my doll Coral to the American Girl doll hospital. I bought Coral off eBay earlier this year. After not having her for very long her leg fell off. Doll limbs can get loose over time and fall off. I’ve been meaning to send her to the hospital for a while now and I can’t wait for her to return!

I have had some good thrift finds lately. – I love going thrift shopping and lately I’ve been finding some great stuff such as American Girl stickers and books, arts and crafts kits, Beanie Babies and some nice clothes. Going thrift shopping is like going on a treasure hunt I never know what I’m going to find!

I went walking on one of my favorite trails – Due to weather, smoke and work schedules I haven’t been able to go on as many walks as I would like to. Getting to walk on my favorite trails again was great! It was a beautiful day !
