Happy June 2023 plus my summer 2023 playlist

My summer has gotten off to a great start so far, and I have some exciting things plans. However, for now, I wanted to tell you about my first day of June / summer and also share my summer 2023 playlist with you . My Colorado adventure June 2022 part 1

Hello,my bucket list friends! I recently got back home from an adventure filled vacation to Colorado! I have so much to write about. Here we go!

Colorado day one – The first day of this vacation was similar to a lot of other first days of vacation, meaning that there was an airplane ride and then an Uber ride to the hotel. The big highlight of day one was going swimming in the hotel pool. I love going swimming. I wish I got to go more often. It was a good way to start my vacation.

Colorado day two – On day two I did one of my favorite things. I went to the zoo! I just have to say that the Denver zoo is a lot of fun!I saw so many different kinds of animals including elephant, lions, flamingos,Zebras, raccoons and more! I also got to ride a train and a carousel. The Carousel had so many different animals on it. There was also a lion made out of Legos that was really interesting to see. One of my favorite animals that I saw there was the okapi. They are very cute and I love that we got to get pretty close to them at the zoo. I ended my zoo adventure by getting some souvenires at the gift shop. At the gift shop I got a new snow globe for my collection along with some other items. I also got a souvenire cup with my lunch. After a fun time at the zoo we took an Uber to downtown Denver. Our first stop was the Denver selfie museum! I love going to places like this. I’ve been to two other places like this before and I loved them both. I was super excited to take some fun photos at this museum and let me tell you something this place did not disappoint! There were so many fun backgrounds and props that looked amazing in pictures. I loved the fuzzy purple background that had old fashion phones attached to it. I also loved the smiley face background and the bubblegum background that was full of candy machines that had yellow gumballs in them. After taking a lot of fun pictures we walked to a souvenire store. I got some great things there including another snow globe,a plush moose, post cards, key chains and more! It was a day full of fun and adventure!

Thank you for reading this post about some of my adventures in Colorado.

A trip to the beach and a trip to Goodwill

Hello,my bucket list friends! My favorite season is in full swing. The summer fun keeps on coming. I have hit a few bumps in the road during this summer mainly I hurt a muscle in my leg and had to stay off of it for most of last weekend and that was not fun. However last Tuesday after work I went to the beach. I haven’t been to the beach in a while and I really wanted to go. My mom and I plus the neighbor’s dog went on a little beach adventure. It felt so good to walk on the beach and put my feet in the water. I can’t remember the last time I’ve been to the beach but this trip more than made up for it. I took a lot of great pictures and just had a really good time overall. The dog had a great time playing with other dogs on the beach. I had a lot smiles on my face that evening. The next day I went to the Goodwill while my dad went shopping at the store next door. I got some great items to add to my collection including a Rainbow Dash backpack, some TY toys,a Disney popcorn bucket,a Disney picture friend and some Crayola markers. I know it can be hard sometimes but planning fun things on weekdays can have a positive impact on your mental health.

Utah adventure part one

Hello,my bucket list friends! As I write this sentence I’m in the Salt Lake City airport ready to head home. Before I get any further into this post, I have to say that I had a truly amazing vacation. I can’t wait to tell you more about it so let’s start at the beginning. My vacation started on June 8th when my mom and I landed at the Salt Lake City airport. As soon as we got off the plane I was ready to head to a store to buy some souvenirs. My favorite thing that I got that first day is a Hippo plush wearing a Salt Lake City shirt. After we checked in to our hotel we went looking for somewhere to eat. We ended up eating  at Buca Di Beppo.  I love pasta so that is what I got there. After dinner we walked around downtown for a bit before going back to our hotel. The next day we had plans to see two attractions. The first one was Red Butte Gardens. This huge garden is simply amazing to look at. There is just so much to see. I love the roses and the bee houses. Since I’m a big kid at heart the children’s garden was my favorite. If you’re ever in Salt Lake City I highly recommend going there. Next we went to we went next door to the natural history museum. This is a great museum to explore. I enjoyed seeing the dinosaur exhibit and this exhibit that they had set up on archeology. I also enjoyed watching the ants that were in a globe-shaped ant house. After our two big adventures we headed over to the City Creek Center which is a mall in Salt Lake City. The mall is pretty awesome because it has a river that runs through it and a sky bridge that connects two parts of the mall together. We went to Lush and I got two bath bombs we also went  to this restaurant there called Core Life. They have some really great tasting food that’s also healthy as well. We also went to a souvenir store that was just a little bit of a walk from the mall. I got this really cute book there called Hello Utah. It is a children’s book but I just fell in love with it. I wonder if there is a California book in the same series. That wraps up part one of my Utah adventure. Thanks for reading!

Hello Summer 2020

Hello my bucket list friends ! When you’re in school they tell you when your summer starts and ends. Since I’m not in school I decided my summer would be from the first day of June to the last day of August. I celebrated the start of summer yesterday by going to CVS and getting this fun set of Mickey Mouse plastic straws that I had been wanting. Then later in the day I got a Slurpee. I used one of my new straws in the Slurpee! It was a perfect way to start the summer! I hope you all have great summers !
