One busy weekend!

Hello,my bucket list friends! It’s time for another weekend blog post! This weekend was pretty busy as you can see from the title. Let’s start with Friday. On Friday evening I went to the Goodwill. I needed to get a dress for a work event but of course I had to see if there was anything I wanted to add to my collection. I think someone donated a TY collection to the Goodwill because I got two Beanie Buddies and a few Beanie Babies. My other fun find was a mini paint set it’s just so cute! Oh and about the dress I mentioned earlier, I found one that I love. It still had the tags on it. I was so happy that I decided to get a dress that night. After the Goodwill I went to Panera Bread and Walgreens. At Walgreens I got a Barbie puzzle and a squishy toy. On Saturday, I went to Starbucks then I went to Barnes and Noble where I got some great books. One of the Barbie books I got came with stickers. After that we went to a baby shower for my cousin. It was great to see everyone and the decorations were so cute! The day had been pretty busy already but it was not over yet! There was a gathering going on in my neighborhood. The big highlight of that neighborhood gathering was that there were so many dogs there! I love being around dogs especially happy ones! Sunday was another busy day. I spent most of the day with my friend. We started off the day by going to church. It was my first time at this church but my friend had been there before. I really liked the church that we went to and I hope to go back again sometime. After church we went to the Goodwill,Subway and Starbucks. At the Goodwill I got a Barbie doll and an American Girl book. We ended the day by going to a Mexican restaurant. It was great to spend a day with my awesome friend. There you have it my jam-packed weekend. Thanks for reading!

A road trip, Bucket list #245 and an Alice Cooper concert

Hello, my bucket list friends! I had a really wonderful weekend! I went on a mini road about a four hour drive away. The main reason for this road trip was to go see an Alice Cooper concert. I bought the tickets kind of last minute so the seats I got weren’t great but they were good enough and that’s good enough for me. My mom and I left on our weekend adventure on Friday when I got off of work. Before we got to our hotel, we stopped at five below. I’m a huge fan of discount stores but there is not a Five Below near me. I was excited that I had a chance to go here again. I got Barbie and My Little Pony toys here as well as some art supplies. I hope one of these stores opens close to me one of these days. After shopping at Five Below we went to Chili’s for dinner before going to the hotel. The next day was the day of the concert but we did have some time before then. I didn’t realize it before but as I was looking up things to do that day, I discovered that there was a Goodwill outlet in the same town where we were staying in. It was on my bucket list to go to the outlet so we decided to go check it out. It was not as big as I thought it would be and there was not as much stuff as I had imagined. However, I found some pretty great items. Some of my favorite items where, a Mary-Kate and Ashley brand hat, a cup with a Mickey Mouse pattern on it, two books that came with stickers, and a Disney button. It was an interesting experience. It was definitely very different from shopping at a regular Goodwill store. At the outlet you had to dig to find things. Epically the clothes and media such as books.  The prices here were the best part. Our total was under five dollars! It felt so good to cross another item off my bucket list. After my bucket list adventure we went to explore the mission San Louis Obispo de tolosa. We had a little bit of time before our tour started so we went to the gift shop. I got some nice souvenires there. It was a beautiful day to explore the mission. There was so much to see, like a well an oven, and bells. If you get a chance this mission is worth exploring. Plus there is also a museum inside. After exploring the mission we went to Whole Foods for lunch. After that we went back to the hotel to rest before the concert. The concert was at this amphitheater that was part of a winery. It was a very pretty venue. Before the show I waited in a very long line to get a t-shirt and hat but it was so worth it! I have a few Alice Cooper shirts but I hadn’t gotten a new one in a while. The show its self was amazing as always. I’ve been to a good amount of Alice Cooper shows and it’s always exciting! I loved singing along to some of my favorite songs like Escape, Poison, Bed of Nails, and School’s Out! I wish I would have been closer to the stage but I plan on getting a better seat the next time I go to one of his shows. However his show is always amazing no matter where I’m sitting! I plan on going to another show of his before the year is over. The next day it was time to head back home. We made a few stops before we officially got back home. Two of the places we stopped where Starbucks (as always) and the Madonna Inn. Outside of the Madonna Inn there was a really cool cow art piece that we took pictures with. It was a really awesome weekend.

Goodbye bubbles, a trip to the Goodwill and Easter fun

Hello, my bucket list friends! Another weekend has left us. Before we move on from it I wanted to share my adventures this weekend with all of you. I had one big event planned this weekend and that was the bubble run. I was excited to do the bubble run for the third time. It was a rainy and windy day and they kept pushing back the start start time. There were people who had earlier start times that had already done the race but unfortunately for us they ended up canceling the race for safety reasons. I was very disappointed but I did get to see my friends so that was good. After we left the race we made a stop at Starbucks and then we went home. Afer being at home for a little bit, I went shopping at the Goodwill. I wanted to do something fun after being disappointed with the run being canceled. At the Goodwill I found two amazing Barbie items. One is a helicopter and the other is a is car that opens up but I haven’t figured how to open it yet LOL! I also got three bath bombs, a plush dog purse, a Minnie Mouse watter bottle and more. After the Goodwill, I went to the Habit and got a coffee shake! I love their coffee shakes. It was a pretty alright day even if it didn’t go as planned. The next day was Easter Sunday I started the day by going to church I had the perfect Easter dress that I got at Savers. Later in the day I went my cousins house, we had a lot of amazing food and we also did an egg hunt. I still love doing egg hunts ! I’ll probably still be doing egg hunts when I’m 50!

My fun weekend adventures plus space flavored Coca-Cola

Hello, my bucket list friends! I’ve been wanting to get this post up all week but I finally got around to it. This weekend was pretty amazing and I’m excited to tell you about it. Let’s start with Friday. On Friday during my lunch break I walked to CVS. I was excited to see what Easter items they had available. I ended up getting a craft kit and a plush frog that was in a plastic egg. That evening after work, I had a voice acting class where I practiced my scripts for my demo reel. I’m really excited to get my demo put together! On Saturday I spent most of the day with my good friend Teresa. We got pizza and then we went to see the movie Dog it was pretty good. It was a very emotional movie but it had a good ending and some laughter mixed in along the way. It’s worth checking out if you are wanting to go to the theater. After the movie we went to the Goodwill. I found some fun items there. Some of my favorite items I got there were three Barbie dolls, a large Lisa Frank pencil, a bath bomb, and a bath bomb bar! It was a pretty good thrift trip. Teresa has a beautiful orange tree in her yard and she gave me some oranges. She also gave me some bath bombs from a brand I had never tried before. We ended our amazing day with a trip to the candy store and dinner. It was a truly fun day. On Sunday I took a bath using one of the bath bombs Teresa gave me and I used part of the bath bomb bar I got at the Goodwill. I like how the bath bomb bar can be broken up and used multiple times. The bath bomb she gave me had a ring inside. I  love it when bath bombs have prizes inside. Later that day my mom and I went on a walk and on the way back we ended up going to a neighbor’s house for pizza! There were also a lot of dogs there it made me smile. I also went to Safeway on Sunday. I found something interesting while I was there. Space flavored Coca-Cola Yup you read that right. I had seen a pictures of this new product but this was my first time actually seeing it in stores. The taste was very interesting. It had a very sweet cake like flavor. I did enjoy the taste and I would recommend trying it. This weekend was really busy but also really fun.
