Idaho family reunion!

Hello, my bucket list friends! I hope you allĀ  had an amazing Labor day weekend! I spent the holiday weekend in Idaho for a family reunion. It was really great to have everyone all together again. It had been years since everyone was all together. It felt like old times. We had a family photoshoot together and it was so much. It was a weekend filled with laughter, good food, and some adventure as well. In addition to spending time with many different family members, I went thrift shopping at a thrift store that we don’t have locally. My favorite thing that I got while thrift shopping was a Barbie puzzle from the 90s. I also went river rafting on the Boise River. I had a fun time going river rafting. I found this rafting trip to be very relaxing! There were a lot of dogs playing in the river, they were all so cute! This was my second time going River rafting and I hope I get to do it again someday. It was a fun trip to Idaho and I hope to make to back soon!

Hello, my bucket list friends ! I hope all of you had a very merry Christmas. Before we get into wrapping up 2018 I wanted to write about my Christmas eve and Christmas day celebrations. Here we go !

Christmas Eve and Christmas day 2018

On Christmas Eve my family and I went to my cousin’s house to celebrate Christmas but before we did that there was a lot that needed to be done. My dad spent a lot of cooking and baking for our family get -together. We delivered some baked good to the neighbors and made a quick stop at the store before arriving at my cousin’s house. At my cousin’s house there were lots of great food and drinks, wonderful laughter and two fun gift exchange games ! It was a smaller get – together then we have had in past years but it was still just as fun. I had a fun Christmas Eve with celebrating with my family . Christmas day was very busy but a lot of fun ! Christmas morning we opened up gifts and my dad made us all great breakfast. We delivered some more baked goods to neighbors before heading out to eat andĀ  to the movies. We had a wonderful dinner I love pasta ! Then we went to see Mary Poppins Returns. We all really enjoyed the movie it was so much fun I loved the songs! It was a great family movie and I’m glad we saw it !

That was my families Christmas celebration I hope you enjoyed reading about it !

Happy 28th birthday and a trip to the ER

Hello, My bucket list friends I had on 28th birthday on August 26th and it was a wild one ! I really didn’t see it turning out the way it did but that’s life for you ! Hang on tight and I’ll tell about my crazy birthday !

My 28th birthday and a trip to the ER

My birthday started with a trip to Peet’s coffee and petting some very cute dogs there before heading to work .Ā  While I was at work my amazing friend brought me cake ! After work I went out to eat with my family we went to PFĀ Chang’s. The food was so good and the desserts were wonderful ! After dinner we were driving back home and a pain that I had been having throughout the day began to get worse and worse . It was soon unbearable about an 8 on the pain scale . I didn’t want to go to the ER because it is expensive but due to the amount of pain I was in I didn’t have a choice . I’m not sure what time it was when I got to the ER maybe around 10 pm . Right away the tests began to find a source of the pain . After hours of doing tests and waiting the ultrasound showed that I has a cyst on my left ovary. It is about 5 1/2 CM. long . It was decided that I did not need anything further right then but that needed to talk to my doctor in a day or so . I was given some pain medication and after 3 AM I left the ER. The issue with the cyst is still on going . I’m going to be talking to a surgeon next week but I’ll write more about that another time . Overall it was a birthday I wont soon forget !

January 2018 wrap up!

Hello, bucket list friends since January is ending soon I thought I would do a quick wrap up on the first month of 2018. I’ve been working on somethings this month and I can’t wait to tell you all about it so here we go!

My life in January 2018

January always seems to go by slowly for me. There does not seem to be a lot happening in January and the month just drags on. Also, the gloomy weather can cause me to become depressed. I discovered a long time ago that walking is a great way to improve my mood and that is what I have been doing a lot of this month. I have been on many walks this month and some even on sunny days! Two of my favorite walks that I took this month were the one by the beach and the one to the pond on a trail that had been closed for a long time, It felt good to go on that trail again. I also started working on one of my more long-term bucket list items #195 read 100 books in one year this month I read 8 books, so I’m off to a great start. I’ve also been doing a lot of writing this month I’ve started writing a fiction story The Unschooled Dairy of Aspen Roads (you can read it here

). I plan to do a lot more fiction writing this year and I have been working on two other books that I have not posted. I’ve also spent some great times with family and friends this month and as you can tell from my last blog post I dyed my hair green and that was bucket list item #166 I also booked my vacation for this summer and the destination is on my bucket list, I signed up for a 5k next month as well! Ā Ā To top it all off today a whole box of my little pony toys that I won from eBay arrived today, I had so much fun looking through all the ponies. January might not usually be a very fun month but this time I feel like I turned that around, I mean I crossed off a list item and I had some great friend time! I did face some obstacles month but overall the year is off to a great start .

Bye 2017 Hi 2018

Hello, my bucket list friends and happy 2018! I hope all of you had a fun and safe time celebrating the new year! In my next blog post I’ll be talking and my plans and goals for the new year, but for this blog post I’m going tell you all about how I celebrated the last day of 2017 and welcomed 2018.

New year’s fun

My New Year’s Eve celebration started with an end of year hang out with my friend Amy. We went to Starbucks and talked about our plans and goals for the new year, then we went on a nice walk. After spending some time back at home. I went to my cousin Amanda’s house to get ready to go celebrate the new year at Gilroy gardens. I had just ben to Gilroy gardens for the first time on December 23rd Ā Ā . but I was very excited to go again. (you can read about it here) After getting my makeup done by my cousin. Her fiancĆ© came to pick us up and we headed off to Gilroy gardens! We didn’t have a lot of time before the fireworks, but we went on 3 rides, got some food, new year’s hats and accessories. I also bought a really cool light up cup. Ā Amanda found a really good stop to see the fireworks and all of us had a wonderful time welcoming 2018 while watching some pretty awesome fireworks! After a long day of fun, I crashed with my cousin for the night. I was tired but so thankful that I had a great time welcoming in the new year.

I hope all of you live 2018 to the fullest . Rock on – Christina Epperly

Christmas eve and Christmas day 2017

Christmas eve 2017

For my whole life every Christmas Eve we went to my grandparents’ house and a had a wonderful celebration filled with food and presents and lots of laughs. This year was different because my grandparents are in Idaho now, so this year we had the party at my aunt’s house. it was different but lots of fun. We started off the celebration by attending Christmas eve service at the church my aunt goes to. After a great service we went back to my aunt’s house to have a big Christmas eve celebration! Ā As with most big celebrations there was a lot of yummy food and of course lots laughs. Oh, and my aunt has three dogs so it’s always fun with them around. To top it all off we did a gift exchange, the white elephant game and the Christmas morning game. Ā It was a fun night celebrating with my beautiful family.

Christmas day 2017

When I was a kid I always woke up early on Christmas day and did everything I could do to get my parents out of bed, so we could go open presents but now I love my sleep, so my Christmas morning started out a little slow but once I got up and going, it was time to open presents with my parents before going over to my sister’s house. Ā After opening presents at home, we went to my sister’s house and had some yummy food yay for potatoes! Then we went to go see Star Wars! The movie was awesome! I had a great Christmas day and I hope all of you did too !

thanksgiving in Idaho

Hello, my beautiful bucket list friends! Here we are in the last month of 2017 and I have quite a few blog posts that I want to write and videos that I want to make before we jump on into 2018 so get ready for a lot of updates from this professional dreamer.

This past thanksgiving was very different for me, it was the first thanksgiving that I have ever celebrated outside of California. The biggest difference is that it was colder then California thanksgiving but I’m getting ahead of myself. Let’s go back to Los Angeles, the day after I crossed #139 (go beach hopping) off my list. I woke up very early that Tuesday morning to go LAX, so I could take my first flight of two flights that I would take that day. I got to the airport with plenty of time to spare so I had all the time I needed to find my gate, eat and charge up my phone before getting on my first flight to Seattle. After a two-hour ride I was in the state of Washington for the first time ever. When I arrived, one of the first things I did was look at my flight information on my phone. I was confused at first but it didn’t take long for me to realize that my 2nd flight (the one that would take me to Idaho) was delayed by about 3 hours. Needless to say, I was not very happy about this, but life happens. One of the worst things about being stuck in the airport was looking outside and seeing the awful weather outside but from what I hear that’s just how it is in Seattle. I was really missing the California sunshine at this point . The Disneyland plane that was parked by the windows was able to put a smile on my face, but I had plenty of time before the now delayed plane was ready to go. So I did the best thing I could to lift my mood I bought myself some food, a snow globe and a post card. After my little shopping trip, I relaxed the best I could until it was time for my last flight of the day. When I finally got to Idaho I was tired but excited to see my family and Jewels one of my favorite dogs in the whole world. After going out for a great dinner and spending time with family I crashed. The next day was the day before Thanksgiving so it was a very busy day, but I was able to stop by the Goodwill and get some cool stuff including some My Little Pony toys. It was a fun day filled with lots of shopping, food and family fun. I had a lot of new my little pony toys before the day ended.

The next dayĀ  it was time to celebrate thanksgiving with some of the people that I love most.Even tough I was in a different time zone than normal. Thanksgiving was pretty much the same. There was lots of food and time to catch up with those you don’t get to see often.Ā After a great day of celebrating with family and eating lots of wonderful food. It was time to get ready for my 4th and final fight of the trip. The flight back home was fast and before I knew it I was back with my cats in California. It was a good but short trip to Idaho. When I go back I should have more time to explore and maybe even cross off a list item or two.
