Hello,my bucket list friends! This weekend I went on an adventure to Pismo Beach and I wanted to share it with all of you. Here we go! My adventure started on Friday when I got off work early. My mom and I headed right to Pismo Beach. My dad was already there. It took over three hours to get there. When we arrived we dropped our things off at the hotel and went to dinner. We went to downtown Pismo Beach and ate at this restaurant called Cool Cats. It’s a fun 50’s themed restaurant with great food. I got this veggie burger that had peppers on it and it was so amazing!! After dinner we went to a souvenir shop across the street. Where I got some great items including snow globe for my collection. On Saturday our first activity was going on a kayaking cave tour. It was fun but some of the caves were hard to go through. I liked seeing all the penicillins while we were kayaking. After that we went to eat lunch. We tried going downtown again but we couldn’t find a place to park. We went to this restaurant called Huckleberry’s. I really liked the french toast that I had there. After lunch we went for a walk on monarch butterfly grove trail. During certain months this area is filled with tons of monarch butterflies. The butterflies are not there in July. However the trail is beautiful and worth taking a walk on. At the beginning of the trail there was a trailer that they were selling souvenirs from. I bought a butterfly pen and a butterfly keychain. After enjoying the trail. My mom and I went to the Goodwill. The Goodwill we went to was very small. However I got some cool books. When we were done shopping we decided to try downtown again. It took a long time to find a parking space but when we did we got a parking space that was right by the pier. We took pictures with the Pismo Beach sign, checked out the playground next to the sign, walked along the pier,I made a pressed penny, and got some taffy. We had one last adventure before going back to the Hotel. We went to Dinosaur Caves park. I’ve been to this park before years ago. This is a great place to get a view of the ocean. It was a fun filled day! The next day we went to Sloco doughnuts. They had some really amazing doughnuts here! I can’t wait for my next adventure.
Rock On – Christina Epperly
