Wonderful lavender slime and a thrift shopping adventure

Hello, my bucket list friends! I have some fun things I want to tell you about. Let’s start with my visit to the slime kitchen last week. On Friday after work my mom and I went to get massages at the mall. We were both in need of some stress relief. In addition tp the massages I really wanted to check out a new place in the mall called the Slime Kitchen. Before this I hadn’t had a lot of experience with slime. I love playdough and I had played with things that were similar to slime a while ago but I have not used slime since it has become very popular in recent years. I heard about the Slime Kitchen on the mall’s Instagram page. It looked fun and interesting. After getting massages and going to Claire’s It was time to go to the slime kitchen. I wasn’t sure how it all worked but the staff was very helpful. I ended up choosing cloud slime and I made it lavender scented! I loved how you got to add two little toys into your slime I chose an ice cream cone and a lollipop! I did enjoy making slime. However, it was $25.00 so I probably won’t do it again but it was worth doing once. The next day I went to Savers to do some thrift shopping! It was more crowded then I expected it to be even for a Saturday. However, I was still able to get some pretty awesome items. Some of my favorite things I got that day are a Barbie collector book,a Barbie horse, some American Girl books, and a chalk book that comes with chalk. I also got another book that is summer themed maybe I can read it before summer ends.

A summer weekend in Idaho

Hello,my bucket list friends! Last weekend I went on a little getaway to Idaho. I have family that lives there. I try to go a few times a year. However, this weekend was the first time I was able to go this year. It was a short visit but I was able to do a good amount things before it was time to head back home. I can’t wait to tell you all about it so let’s get to it!

Friday- On Friday I worked a half day, then after a quick stop at Best Buy to get a headphone adapter,I went to the airport. After I got checked in and made it through security, I still had some time before my flight so I went to the store and got some souvenires from my home state. I know it’s far from perfect but I do love California! Anyways, after that it was time to head to Idaho. The flight was normal and uneventful. When I landed I stopped and got some Idaho souvenires. After that I got my luggage, met up with my mom and went to my grandparents house. It was great to see them and their dog again. After talking with them for a while. My mom drove me to get something to eat because I was hungry after a day of working and traveling. We ened up going to a restaurant that neither of us had been to before it was called smoky mountain Pizzeria grill. There was a bit of wait but the food was really good so it was worth it. There was also a vending machine that gave out random toys for a quarter each so that was pretty cool. After dinner we went to Walmart to get a few things. A few fun things I got were a squishy strawberry toy,Barbie stickers, and and Idaho button. It was a pretty good way to start off my weekend in Idaho.

Saturday- I was really looking forward to Saturday because I had bought tickets for a museum in Boise. We got Starbucks before going to the museum. I had been to this museum before but they host different exhibits so it was going to be different then it was before The main exhibit they had this time was Sue the T.rex. I  had seen Sue before but it had been a very long time ago. It was nice to see her again. There was also a small exhibit about the moon. My favorite part of that exhibit was the moon themed art work. The next part of the museum was a hands on area that was closed the last time I visited the museum. My favorite part of that area was this machine that made beautiful works of art. Also in the museum there is another T. rex named Tinker. It  was nice to see that T. Rex again too. After exploring the museum,we went to the gift shop on the way out. My favorite thing that I got was a Sue keychain. After the museum my mom and I went to a Idaho gift shop that we had visited once before. I was excited to go shopping for more fun Idaho souvenires. My favorite things that I got are two Idaho shaped Christmas ornaments that you paint. I can’t wait to paint one of them. I got two of them so my mom can paint one also. After our fun in Boise, we went to a restaurant to celebrate a faimly members birthday. It was great to see even more family and to celebrate together. Later on that day I went to Goodwill. The prices at this Goodwill are lower then at home. I was happy to find some Barbie dolls, a Lion King coloring/ tracing book, and two My Little Pony toys. I also got some books. I’m happy I managed to do so much in one day.

Sunday – This was my last full day in Idaho before flying home the next day. We went to lunch at a Mexican restaurant that is a favorite of my faimly that lives in Idaho. I got some very yummy vegetarian Mexican food. After lunch my mom and I went to visit another family member. This family member has a farm. I love going there and seeing all the animals. I got to see a very cute calf that I had not seen before. I also got to meet some super cute kittens! I loved taking pictures with the animals and I can’t wait to see them again. Later on that evening my mom and I went swimming! There is a community pool in my grandparents neighborhood. I’ve been swimming at this pool before and I love it. I love that it has a fountain. I’m very happy to say that I’ve gone swimming four times this summer.

Monday- This was the day we went back home. If I’m being honest I really didn’t want to leave. It had been a great trip but it was pretty short. I wasn’t ready to leave yet. However, it was time to go. Usually we get nonstop flights to and from Idaho However, this time we were not able to and we had to stop in Utah first. We didn’t have a lot of time before our second flight but we didn’t have any problems getting to the flight on time. It was a very quick but very fun trip to Idaho and I’m excited to go back!

The little things that made me smile last week. :)

Hello, my bucket list friends. I believe It is important to talk about the positive things in life. It is not always an easy thing to do but it can be good for your mental health. During last week there were some good moments that I want to share with you so here we go!

After work I went to Whole Foods I hadn’t been there in a while so I was excited to go. I got some yummy food of course but I also got this super cute pencil set. That evening I took a walk to go see my horse friend Dominic. I always enjoy going to see him.

One four day weekend and one regular weekend!

Hello, my bucket list friends! It looks like I’ve fallen behind on my weekend blog posts,so the best thing to do in a time like this is to combine the posts! That’s right my friends in this post I will be covering what I did this weekend plus what I did over the long 4th of July weekend. I have a lot to cover in this post so let’s get to it!

Fourth of July weekend

Friday – After work on Friday, I went thrift shopping at Savers. I had a coupon and I was excited to use it. When I went to the store I was disappointed to see that there were not many dolls there. However, I still manged to find some fun things that I was excited to welcome to my collection. My favorite item I got was this American Girl puzzle set that comes with a frame to put the puzzle in. Some of my other favorites from this thrift ship adventure include a pair of Old Navy shorts, a squishy plush owl from TY, a Disney mug from the Allstar Sports resort, and a unicorn from Build a Bear Workshop that had a cute outfit on. It was a good way to start off this long weekend. On Saturday I went to Starbucks and the Dollar Tree. At the Dollar Tree I got a set of 4th of July magnets and a pop bracelet that I’m actually wearing right now. On Saturday evening I went with my parents to see Point of Grace in concert. The concert was in a beautiful venue that was in the middle of a bunch of redwood trees. The concert was great! I’m so glad we got to go and see it. Sunday was the day before the 4th of July. I went to Starbucks of course. I also went to Safeway. At Safeway I got one of my favorite things. Candy that comes with a toy inside. On July 4th I started my celebration by doing a July 4th craft kit. My mom and I went to a local park that was having a 4th of July celebration. We road the train that they have there. We also listened to an orchestra that was performing at the park. My work was also was closed on the 5th so I had an extra day to sleep in and take it easy. I took a bath with two bath bombs and I went to vist my horse friend Dominic. It was a pretty awesome long weekend.

Normal two day weekend. – Last weekend was a pretty normal and a pretty relaxed weekend. On Friday after work I went to Target. My main goal at Target was to get bath bombs. I got four bath bombs that had prizes inside. I also got another Barbie doll for my collection. When Saturday came I didn’t have any solid plans but I did end up going to Starbucks, Yogurtland, and a local park. It had been a while since I went to Yogurtland. I was happy to go again. When we got to the park I was surprised to see that it was not very crowded. I walked with my mom and Axle ( a super cute dog) then I went to the playground to go down the slide. On Sunday I decided to use two of the bath bombs I got from Target. I also drew my summer picture that day. It was a simple but an overall enjoyable weekend.
