Hello, my bucket list, friends! I’m happy to say that I’m finally writing about the month of August! August is one of my favorite months because it is a summer month, and it is also my birthday month. I started off the month by going to the beach. I’m excited to tell you about that and some other activities I did this month, so let’s get to it.
August 1st – I started off the month by going to the beach. I got coffee before I went to the beach . I love walking on the beach while drinking coffee. It was a great way to start the month.
August 3rd – On this day, I started drawing my summer picture. I’ve been drawing a picture during the summer for several years now. This year, I went with a book in the middle of the picture because every summer is its own story. I like the way this picture ended up looking. I really like the book in the middle of the picture. Also, on this day, I got a fun sticker book at Safeway!
August 4th – On this day, my friend and I went to the movies. We saw Harold and the Purple Crayon. It was a very good movie! It was full of adventure and imagination. I highly recommend going to see this movie. It was one of the best movies that I’ve seen in a while. After the movie we went to the Dollar Tree. I got a few things, including some stickers, an ice pop shaped serving try, and a TY plush keychain. After that we went to lunch. It was a really great day
Hello, my bucket list friends! I’ve done some fun things over the past few days that I want to share with you. I went to my favorite local thrift store again. I also went to the movies for only the third time this year. I can’t wait to tell you more about it, so let’s get to it!
Thursday, November 9th – I worked the closing shift on this day, but I went into town early so I could go to my favorite local thrift store before work. My main reason for going to the thrift store was to get some short books to read so I can work on crossing off read 50 books from my bucket list. Since it had not been a long time since my last visit to this thrift shop, I did not think that I would get many items, but I was wrong. I got lots of great items. I found a good amount of short books to read, I also got a bag of erasers, a Build a bear plush, a TY beanie Boo, a TY beanie puzzle eraser, a squishy key chain, and a stamp. On the way to work, I stopped by the candy store when I saw that they had their Christmas items out. I got some stickers, candy canes, and a light up toy that has candy with it and plays music. At work, I got some more Christmas themed items, including a cute bird decoration and a art kit. It was a pretty great day.
Friday, November 10th – This day, I also worked the closing shift. Before work, I went to Whole Foods, and I got a very cute gingerbread cookie. At work, I got this Christmas painting craft kit that I had been wanting to get, but it had not been put out on the shelf yet. I was very happy when I saw it out on the shelf. Getting the art kit made the day better than I thought it would be.
Saturday, November 11th – I had this day off. I went to a much need massage appointment with someone I used to work with. It was so good to see him again, After my massage, I went to Starbucks and Safeway. At Safeway, I got some of my favorite fruit snacks that come with trading cards, Kinder eggs that come with animal toys, a Play-Doh kit, and a few other items. That evening, I went to the movies, and I saw the Journey to Bethlehem. I highly recommend this movie. Yes, there were creativity liberties that were taken, and with all Biblical movies, it is a good idea to look to the Bible for the most accurate information. The movie itself is a fun wholesome retelling of the birth of Christ, I love the soundtrack to this movie, and I have been listening to it a lot. It is a wonderful movie for Christmastime. Once again, I highly recommend going to see it. After the movie we went to dinner at the Habit. It was a really wonderful day.
Sunday, November 12th – On this day, I worked the closing shift. I started the day by getting coffee and going to church. After church, I went on a walk before going to Starbucks, and then it was time for work. At work, I got this fun sticker book on my break. I also got a fun pen that has a Christmas tree on it. I’m amazed at all the items that we have for Christmas. I enjoy seeing the items come out onto the sales floor.

Hello, my bucket list, friends! Another weekend has come to an end so now I’m going to write about it! This weekend was full of some of my favorite things, and I can’t wait to tell you about it. without any more delay, here we go!
Friday – I worked the closing shift on this day, but I went into town a little early, so I would have time to go to the toy store before my shift started. At the toy store, I got some frog stickers, a ring shaped like a panda head, a toy car, and two shaped erasers. After the toy store, I still had a good amount of time before work, so I went to the candy store where I got a lollipop that has purple sparkly lips on the stick. After all of that, I still had one more thing to do before my shift started. I went to get coffee at a local coffee shop that is close to my work. Then I went to work. Work went well, I love being in a store that is full of beautiful plants.
Saturday – I had this day off, and I made sure to plan some fun things for the day. I got tickets to see 80 for Brady, a movie that I had been wanting to. If you have not heard of this movie, I recommend looking it up. The movie theater we went to was located in my favorite mall. We had some time before the movie so we went to Claire’s. They were having the three for three sale that they have often. I went to the clearance rack, and I got some fun items, including a hair bow and a ring. After Claire’s, we walked back to the theater. I got coffee, and my mom got tea at the theater. Then it was movie time. I won’t give anything away, but the movie was so good. I highly recommend going to see it. It was a lot of fun to watch and it was also inspiring. After the movie, we went to the Target that is part of the mall. At Target, I got another My First Barbie doll. I already had the one with blond hair, so this time, I got the one with brown hair. I’m excited to have this doll in my collection. In the dollar section, I got two small craft kits and a Disney activity kit. After that, we left the mall and went to the hardware store to get some bird seed. At the hardware store, I got two squishy toys. Before we went home, we went to Starbucks, and I got coffee and a cakepop. It was a good way to wrap up my adventures for the day. I went home and relaxed, but I did get a visit from my neighbor’s very cute dog. I also made pasta for dinner. It was a really fun day.
Sunday – I worked the opening shift this day. Of course, I went to Starbucks before going to work. After a normal day at work , my mom picked me up, and we stopped at Safeway before going home to watch the Super Bowl. At Safeway, in addition to food items, I also got a cute bunny toy at Safeway. I did enjoy watching the Super Bowl, but I was hoping for more from the commercials. However, there were a few commercials that did stand out, but overall, they were not as good as they have been in previous years. I really liked the Amazon add with the dog. I wish there would have been more ads like that. Anyways, watching the Super Bowl was a good way to end the weekend.

Toy Story 4 review ( Spoiler free)
I have seen all of the Toy Story movies and I was looking forward to the latest addition. This one is perfect for summertime because not only does it take place during the summer ,most of the movie takes place during a road trip! The characters that fans loved from the previous movies are back along with some new ones as well. My favorites of the new characters are Ducky and Bunny . This very funny duo brought many laughs ! As with the other movies before it ,there are some serious moments but don’t let that prevent you from going to see this fun filled adventure. I can honestly say that there was never a slow moment in this movie. The story moved at a perfect pace there was not a minute where I was board. Of course this wouldn’t be a proper review of Toy Story 4 if I didn’t mention Forky ! Forky is a very fun a unique charter he also provides lots of laughs and he is very cute! To sum this all up go see this movie ! It’s a great summertime movie for all ages. Rock On – Christina Epperly
Hello, my bucket list friends ! This huge Disney fan (me) just saw the Aladdin live action remake on Sunday. If you haven’t seen it yet no worries because this review is free from spoilers ! Let’s get to it !
Aladdin 2019 movie review ( spoiler free)
When I saw the previews for the new Aladdin movie I knew I just had to see it. It looked like a very fun and attention grabbing movie and it was. The live action version kept all the songs and charters that I loved about the original movie but it added more to it! I really loved one of the new songs! This movie was full of the magic that you would expect from Disney. The changes that were made from the original worked well and it didn’t seemed forced. Overall I really enjoyed The live action version of Aladdin and I highly recommend going to see it !
Hello, my bucket list friends on Monday night I got to go see the remake of the movie Dumbo. I’m huge Disney fan and the previews for this remake looked really good. I was excited to see it and I’m so glad I did!
Dumbo 2019 Movie review ( Spoiler Free)
First Things first week days night are a great time to go see movies. We went to a nice theater where you have assigned seats and reclining chairs. We went on Monday so it was not busy at all! There was no line for popcorn or the bathroom and it was just really nice not to be packed in with a bunch of other people. Now, let’s get to the movie ! The last time I watch the original Dumbo movie was probably sometime in the 90’s so I remember parts of it but not the whole thing but I do know that there was a cute new spin on my favorite scene from original movie. Hint it’s the scene with bubbles ! The main difference I noticed about the new movie is that there was a lot more focus on the circus performers and their lives and interactions with Dumbo instead of just focusing on Dumbo’s story. The actors in this movie were amazing everyone worked really well together . Of Course the CGI was mind blowing as well. It was hard to tell sometimes what was CGI and what wasn’t. The story was told very well and I really liked the well rounded plot and the flow of the story . The movie had a great overall pacing ,there were no lagging moments. It was a great adventure story and I recommend going to see it !
Hello, my bucket list friends ! It’s hard for me to believe that it already November. I don’t have any big plans this month but things have gotten off to a pretty good start and I can’t wait to tell you all about it ! Here are 5 awesome things that have happened in November so far .
Early November fun and happy things
Finding a Lisa Frank paint kit at a thrift store – My mom and I were looking around a local thrift shop and I found this amazing Lisa Frank paint kit at a really good price and I just had to get it . The next day after I got it , I had a really fun time painting I loved using the stamps .
2.Going to see the Nutcracker and the Four Realms – I’ve wanted to see this movie ever since I saw a preview for it . The day after it came out I got to see it and it didn’t disappoint ! It was a fun adventure movie and I recommend going to see it .
3.Peppermint is everywhere ! – As wrote about in another blog post (you can read it here ) I love peppermint ! I keep seeing so many fun peppermint treats . I love getting peppermint mochas from Starbucks and this year I’ve discovered peppermint drumsticks ! I can’t wait to see what other peppermint treats I will try this year .
4. New laptop! – I’m so excited to announce that I finally got a new laptop ! Mine broke earlier this year and I’ve been missing having one so much ! I’m so happy to have one again!
5. A very cute squirrel ate my pumpkin – Last month I got a pumpkin and a squirrel has been eating it . I actually saw the squirrel next to the pumpkin today it was so cute ! I’m happy that I could provide a treat for the squirrel !
