My Colorado adventure June 2022 part 2

Hello, my bucket list friends! It’s time for the second post about my adventures in Colorado. In this post I go to an art museum and even create my own art! Plus a little bit of adrenaline rush! I’m super excited to write all about it. So let’s get to it!

Colorado adventure day three – On this day I crossed off a bucket list item by visiting the Denver art museum. We arrived at the museum a little while before it opened. That was actually a good thing because there were some great things to see outside of the museum. My favorite outside art piece was a large broom and dust pan sculpture. I love the picture that I took by the sculpture. There were also these rocking lawn chairs that played music as they rocked. Soon it was time to go inside the museum. This museum is huge with so many things to see. I enjoyed looking at photographs, paintings and more. My favorite part of the museum was an area where you could make your own art. After looking at so many inspiring pieces of art I was in a creative mood. I made two collages. I loved using paper that had patterns on it. For one of my art pieces I made a beautiful collage of patterns. the other collage I made was inspired by ice cream. If I’m ever back in Denver I want to go to the art museum again because there is so much to see. After the art museum we took a walk and we quickly visted the Colorado state capital building. It is a very beautiful building and I got some good pictures there. After that we kept walking because we had a tour scheduled at the Molly Brown house museum. We got a little lost on our way there. However,we did make it on time for our self-guided tour. There were so many interesting things to see there. There is something special about seeing history frozen in time as you explore the house. I loved the swing outside the house I took some pictures of my mom and I on the swing. I love the wooden spinning top thst I got at the gift shop there. Later that day we went to get the rental car because our other adventures were going to be outside of Denver. Before we went to pick up our car we went to eat at Ihop. We were very hungry after a long day full of adventure I  won’t get in to all the stressful details here but we ened up having to go to another rental car place then the one we had reserved a car at because there were some problems picking the car up. However it all worked out and we got a great car for our adventures. When we got to the hotel, I  went swimming again. It was a busy but mostly fun vacation day.

Colorado day four – On this day we took a drive to see some famous Colorado attractions. Our first stop was Garden of the gods. This park is known for it’s rock formations. We took a trolly tour because we didn’t have much time. We went to the visitor center to sign up for the tour. We had some time before we went on the tour so we checked out the visitors center, got hot drinks and visted the gift shop. The trolly tour allowed us to see a lot of the rock formations. With the limited time we had it was the perfect way for us to be able to see the park without spending a lot of time there. Our second activity for the day was to go see the Royal Gorge Bridge. The bridge is located in an amusement park. So in addition to walking across this very amazing bridge we also saw a bird show, went to a petting zoo, and road a zip line across the Gorge. The zip line was fun but kind of scary. However it was definitely worth it because the views were beyond beautiful when I wasn’t closing my eyes that is! I also got to go on a carousel here. It was a small Carousel and adults where not allowed on the horses however I was able to ride on the bench and take pictures with the Carousel horses. On the way out we stopped by the gift shop. On the way back I went to Taco Bell for dinner. Taco Bell is one of my favorite fast food places. This was a really fun day!

Thank you for reading about my vacation fun in Colorado!

My Colorado adventure June 2022 part 1

Hello,my bucket list friends! I recently got back home from an adventure filled vacation to Colorado! I have so much to write about. Here we go!

Colorado day one – The first day of this vacation was similar to a lot of other first days of vacation, meaning that there was an airplane ride and then an Uber ride to the hotel. The big highlight of day one was going swimming in the hotel pool. I love going swimming. I wish I got to go more often. It was a good way to start my vacation.

Colorado day two – On day two I did one of my favorite things. I went to the zoo! I just have to say that the Denver zoo is a lot of fun!I saw so many different kinds of animals including elephant, lions, flamingos,Zebras, raccoons and more! I also got to ride a train and a carousel. The Carousel had so many different animals on it. There was also a lion made out of Legos that was really interesting to see. One of my favorite animals that I saw there was the okapi. They are very cute and I love that we got to get pretty close to them at the zoo. I ended my zoo adventure by getting some souvenires at the gift shop. At the gift shop I got a new snow globe for my collection along with some other items. I also got a souvenire cup with my lunch. After a fun time at the zoo we took an Uber to downtown Denver. Our first stop was the Denver selfie museum! I love going to places like this. I’ve been to two other places like this before and I loved them both. I was super excited to take some fun photos at this museum and let me tell you something this place did not disappoint! There were so many fun backgrounds and props that looked amazing in pictures. I loved the fuzzy purple background that had old fashion phones attached to it. I also loved the smiley face background and the bubblegum background that was full of candy machines that had yellow gumballs in them. After taking a lot of fun pictures we walked to a souvenire store. I got some great things there including another snow globe,a plush moose, post cards, key chains and more! It was a day full of fun and adventure!

Thank you for reading this post about some of my adventures in Colorado.

Four day weekend adventures!

Hello, my bucket list friends!! This is one  of thoes weekend wrap up posts but it’s a little different because it was a four day weekend for me. The big highlight of my weekend was a day trip to Big Sur on Sunday but I also went to Savers, Target and Starbucks. I’m excited to tell you all about it so, let’s get to it!

Friday- I know I always start my weekend posts with Friday after work but in this case I had the whole day off. I went to Starbucks and the doctor’s office for a work physical but the big highlight of the day was going to Savers! I had a coupon for clothes and accessories. I got some shirts and a new swim top. I also two Equestria Girl dolls, Two Disneyland lanyards and some TY Beanie Babies. I also went on a walk over to where this pony lives and we gave him carrots. It was a good start to my four days off!

Saturday- on Saturday I went to Target after going to Starbucks of course. At Target my main goal was to get bath bombs. I got a jar of bath bombs that all had prizes in them. I also got another bath bomb that lights up! Some of the other things I got at Target include sunglasses,  socks and fan that has bubbles with it. The night I took a bath with bath bombs of course.

Sunday- Sunday was a day filled with adventure. My mom and I went on a day trip to Big Sur. We started our day by taking a tour of the Point Sur light Station. It was very windy but also very beautiful. It was a very interesting tour and yes, they had a gift shop. I got some cool souvenires there including a bookmark and a keychain. Other adventures include going to see McWay falls and a quick vist to Phifer Big Sur state park. We also went on this walk that a had a beautiful view of the ocean. The are so many beautiful things to see in the Big Sur area but it does get very crowded. However I would recommend exploring this area.

Monday- On the fourth day of my four day weekend, I got to spend the day with my friend and yes we went to Starbucks and we also went to one of our favorite restaurants!

It was a pretty good four day weekend!

A road trip, Bucket list #245 and an Alice Cooper concert

Hello, my bucket list friends! I had a really wonderful weekend! I went on a mini road about a four hour drive away. The main reason for this road trip was to go see an Alice Cooper concert. I bought the tickets kind of last minute so the seats I got weren’t great but they were good enough and that’s good enough for me. My mom and I left on our weekend adventure on Friday when I got off of work. Before we got to our hotel, we stopped at five below. I’m a huge fan of discount stores but there is not a Five Below near me. I was excited that I had a chance to go here again. I got Barbie and My Little Pony toys here as well as some art supplies. I hope one of these stores opens close to me one of these days. After shopping at Five Below we went to Chili’s for dinner before going to the hotel. The next day was the day of the concert but we did have some time before then. I didn’t realize it before but as I was looking up things to do that day, I discovered that there was a Goodwill outlet in the same town where we were staying in. It was on my bucket list to go to the outlet so we decided to go check it out. It was not as big as I thought it would be and there was not as much stuff as I had imagined. However, I found some pretty great items. Some of my favorite items where, a Mary-Kate and Ashley brand hat, a cup with a Mickey Mouse pattern on it, two books that came with stickers, and a Disney button. It was an interesting experience. It was definitely very different from shopping at a regular Goodwill store. At the outlet you had to dig to find things. Epically the clothes and media such as books.  The prices here were the best part. Our total was under five dollars! It felt so good to cross another item off my bucket list. After my bucket list adventure we went to explore the mission San Louis Obispo de tolosa. We had a little bit of time before our tour started so we went to the gift shop. I got some nice souvenires there. It was a beautiful day to explore the mission. There was so much to see, like a well an oven, and bells. If you get a chance this mission is worth exploring. Plus there is also a museum inside. After exploring the mission we went to Whole Foods for lunch. After that we went back to the hotel to rest before the concert. The concert was at this amphitheater that was part of a winery. It was a very pretty venue. Before the show I waited in a very long line to get a t-shirt and hat but it was so worth it! I have a few Alice Cooper shirts but I hadn’t gotten a new one in a while. The show its self was amazing as always. I’ve been to a good amount of Alice Cooper shows and it’s always exciting! I loved singing along to some of my favorite songs like Escape, Poison, Bed of Nails, and School’s Out! I wish I would have been closer to the stage but I plan on getting a better seat the next time I go to one of his shows. However his show is always amazing no matter where I’m sitting! I plan on going to another show of his before the year is over. The next day it was time to head back home. We made a few stops before we officially got back home. Two of the places we stopped where Starbucks (as always) and the Madonna Inn. Outside of the Madonna Inn there was a really cool cow art piece that we took pictures with. It was a really awesome weekend.

Muir woods adventure 2/2022

Hello,my bucket list friends! On Wednesday, I went to Muir Woods, with my mom. It was both of our first times going there. It’s a very popular place and reservations are required. It was on the colder side on the day for our visit but it was still a beautiful day. Muir woods is definitely worth seeing it is a truly beautiful area. There are so many beautiful redwoods there. We went on a hike that was not very difficult but it was amazing! There are different trails that you can chose from. If I ever go back to Muir Woods I wonder what trail I will go on. There is so much to see here, beautyis all around you. There were a lot of plaques that told you about different things in the park such as the animals there and historical facts. Before we went on our hike we went to the cafe for coffee and the gift shop for souvenirs. I have so many great pictures from this day. Some of my favorite pictures I got were of the sun shining through the tress. On the way back to the car, I stopped and took pictures whith this wooden sculpture that depicted the wingspan of different birds. This a place that is definitely worth visiting especially for nature lovers! Another fun thing about this day was driving over the Golden Gate Bridge. We also explored the Suto Baths in San Francisco. This is also a very interesting place that is worth checking out. It was a great day of exploring and I can’t wait for another day like this.

Idaho adventure December 2021!

Hello, my bucket list friends! I’ve been meaning to write this post for a while now and it looks like I finally have the to time and energy to do it! It can be hard when you have a lot to write about but not a lot of energy to write it! Anyways last month I went to Idaho to visit family. I try to make more then one trip to Idaho every year if I can. In 2021 I went 3 times! I’m pretty happy with that. On this trip to Idaho there was a lot of snow and because of that I didn’t get to do an activity like going to the zoo or a museum. However,I did get to see family, go the movies, and go thrift shopping. It had been a while since I had gone to the movies it was definitely good to go again. We saw American Underdog. It was a pretty good movie. For thrift shopping we went to the Idaho youth ranch. I got some pretty cool things there including an American Girl Games and Giggles book, some 101 Dalmatians toys and a Disney snow globe. I also got to use a 3-D printer for the first time! I love the turtle that I got to color with paint pens. I also enjoyed taking pictures in the snow! I love the way snow looks in photos! I also got to see some very cute animals. A fun trip to vist family was a good way to end the year.

Florida vacation 2021 part six

Hello,my bucket list friends! Here we are at the the six and final part of my Florida vacation posts! This part is going to be a little different from the others because we didn’t go to the Disney Parks or Disney springs on this day of our trip. We decided to explore Florida outside of Disney world. We signed up for a tour that lasted most of the day. After we got picked up by the tour company,we headed to our first adventure of the day. We got to go swimming with sea cows! Since the weather was warm the day ,there were not many of them around. However we got to see one very cute sea cow! She was happily eating. It was a cool experience. I enjoyed the boat ride a getting to  swim. Our next tour stop was my favorite Homosassa Springs wildlife state park. I loved looking at the animals here. There were so many beautiful birds.there was also a hippo and a Bear. We didn’t have whole lot of time here but I really enjoyed the time we had. There was also a gift shop here. I’m gald we had a little bit of extra time to fo shopping before getting back in the tour van. I Really want to go back here someday. Our last tour stop was to go on an air boat ride. Air boats are very fun to ride in. It kind of felt like a roller coaster at some points. I would like do this again as well. That evening my mom and I went shopping at the Disney character where house. This store sells discounted items from the Disney parks. When I saw that we were close to one. I  really wanted to go. I got some fun items here including a 2021 pin. The next day we went back home. We missed our first flight because of a very long line. However we made it home safe the day we had planned on. Thank you so much for reading my Florida adventure!

Florida vacation 2021 part one

Hello,my bucket list friends! I’m super excited to tell you all about the very fun vacation I went on recently. My vacation started when my parents and I arrived in Orlando on December 4th. We checked into Disney’s all star music resort. I love the way this resort is decorated. It’s a true work of art. On the evening we arrived I got a refillable mug at the cafeteria and some awesome items at the souvenir shop. The next morning we went to Disney’s Animal Kingdom. My favorite attraction at Animal Kingdom is Kilimanjaro Safaris. This ride feels like a real safari because there are real animals. I loved seeing the giraffes, elephants and lions. My favorite show at Animal Kingdom is festival of the Lion King. The Lion King is my favorite movie. I loved seeing some of the characters from the movie as well as hearing songs from the movie. I also really enjoyed the new show called kite tails. It was Lion King themed as well. It was a very unique show and I hope Disney does more kite shows in the future. As always I did some shopping two of my favorite things that I got that day were a hat and a popcorn bucket. Popcorn buckets are a good thing to get in Disney world because they have low cost refills during the length of your trip. Another exciting thing we did that day was eat at the rainforest Cafe. I love the rainforest Cafe but there is not any locations close to me. It’s always a fun place to eat and the pasta I had there was really good. After having a fun day In Animal Kingdom, I went swimming at the piano pool at our hotel. I loved that there was a little mermaid statue next to the pool. Thank you for reading this part of my Florida vacation.
