Bucket list items I crossed off in Los Angeles 2021

Hello, my bucket list friends! I had so much fun exploring Los Angeles in July. I did a few of posts about it but what I didn’t mention was some of the places I visited were actually bucket list items! I wanted to highlight them in their own post so let’s get to it.

Visit the Getty Center 277 – I would love to visit this beautiful place again. It is filled with so much amazing art.

Take a bus tour of Hollywood 253 – I took two bus tours while I was in Los Angeles. They were both a lot of fun. I especially liked the one that took us up the hills where the celebrities live.

Visit the Griffith observatory 276 – Amazing views and interesting exhibits this a place to add to your list if you are in Los Angeles

Go to the Grove in Los Angeles 238 – The American Girl store here was so much fun to explore! I wish I lived closer to this location. I would visit as much as I could.

See the La Brea tar pits 226 – This was a very interesting place to visit. I enjoyed seeing the tar pits as well as the exhibits inside the museum.

Thanks for reading! Happy bucket listing!

My wonderful birthday weekend :)

Hello,my bucket list friends! My birthday was on Thursday August 26th. However, I kept the celebration going into the weekend. I spent the weekend in the Monterey area with my family. My mom and I drove there on Friday evening and stayed in a hotel. The next morning we were ready for adventure! We started off our day of adventure with the seventeen mile drive. I have done this drive before but I enjoyed it a lot and wanted to do it again. It does cost to go on the drive but to me it is worth it. There are a lot of wonderful views and plenty of photo opportunities along the way. The lone cypress and the house know as the gingerbread house are two of my favorite things to see along seventeen mile drive. After a truly beautiful drive ,we went to the Cannery Row antique mall. This antique mall is two stories and it is packed full of things to see. I bought some great items here including a 1980s button from Disney World . Other items I got were McDonald’s Barbie toys, Disney World magnets, a Disneyland pen and a McDonald’s beanie baby toy. After antique shopping we went souvenir shopping. My favorite souvenires I got are a plush otter with a Monterey sweatshirt on and a visor that says Monterey on it. There is a free trolley that you can take around Monterey I had fun riding it. It’s cute on the inside and out. It almost feels like the vehicles that they have at Disneyland. My mom and I went through the Monterey mirror maze on Cannery Row. We did a similar maze in mall of America. These mazes are fun to take pictures in. They are challenging without being impossible. I hope to do more mazes like this. We also spent some time at the beach.I took a good picture of a sea lion. After the beach, I got to visit a place in Monterey that I have always wanted to visit. Dennis the menace park. This is one of the cutest playgrounds I have ever seen. Some of the things this playground had to offer were a roller slide, a sun shaped bridge and a rock climbing wall. I really want to go back to this playground and spend more time there. After all that adventure we met my dad for dinner. He was diving at the beach that day. After eating a yummy dinner,my mom and I went to old fishermen’s wharf. I went to a candy store there and I got a lot of taffy! Later that night my sister came to the hotel and brought me the best birthday cake ever. I chose this ice cream melting cake from my Pintrest profile and it tasted as amazing as it looked. The next day my mom, sister and I drove to the big Sur area. We had lunch then we explored Phifer Beach. The beach was really amazing. It had some truly beautiful caves and it also had some purple sand! It was one of the best birthday celebrations I’ve ever had!

Utah adventure part four and wrap up!

Hello,my bucket list friends! Welcome to the fourth and final part of my Utah adventure! On the last day of our vacation we went to explore a church called the Cathedral of the Madeleine. It was so beautiful. I took so many pictures. It was simply beautiful inside and outside of the church. After exploring the church we went to an antique mall it was my first time going to one because I always thought that they were to expensive. Turns out I was wrong. They had some great items at great prices. There we also expensive items as well but the were plenty of great things in my price range that I was excited to add to my collection. I need to explore more antique malls. After all that exploring it was time for some lunch. We went to this restaurant called Red iguana. It was highly recommended. I’m glad we went there. The food was amazing. Plus they had a giant iguana statue out in front of the restaurant that was really cool to see. And that pretty much sums up our last day in Utah. This vacation was absolutely amazing! My favorite things were probably the zoo, the aviary, and the Park City museum. I’m glad we went to Salt Lake City. It was a lot of fun to explore.

Hello, my bucket list friends! Well I’m finally getting around to posting part two of last weekend’s road trip. Our big adventure for the next day of our road trip was going river rafting. This was my first time ever going river rafting and I was a little nervous but excited at the same time. It was scary at some parts but I enjoyed it overall. There was a photographer that got some great pictures of us! That night we went to Black Bear Diner and I got some fun pictures there too.

Weekend road trip May 2021 Part one

Hello, my bucket list friends! This weekend I went on a family road trip. It was a big adventure and I can’t wait to tell you more about it so here we go! My adventure started on Friday after work. When we began the drive up to Redding it took about four hours. We made a stop for dinner. After dinner we went straight to the hotel to get some sleep. We had a big day ahead of us. On Saturday we started off our day with a tour of the Shasta caverns. After driving and parking we had to take a boat and a bus to get to the caverns. I had a fun time on the boat. Once we got to the caverns I was amazed at how beautiful they were! I felt like an explorer as I walked around the caverns taking pictures. If you ever get the chance to check it out I highly recommend it! After exploring the caverns it was time to explore the gift shop. I got some fun things at the gift shop including a hat and a magnet. Are next adventure was at McArthur-Burney Falls Memorial State Park. It was hard to get to because there were so many people there. It took a long time to get in. Also finding a parking spot seemed impossible. My mom and I went to look at the falls while my dad looked for a parking spot. I didn’t think that we would be able to enjoy the park altogether. However eventually we were able to find a parking space and go explore all together. We looked at the beautiful waterfall and then took a hike around the waterfall. There were so many people looking at the waterfall that it was overwhelming for me. I could understand why there was so many people there it was such a beautiful place and it was also a holiday weekend. However after we looked at the waterfall and and started on our hike, we noticed that there were not near as many people around. The hike was relaxing and enjoyable. After the hike we went to the store that they have at the park. I got some great souvenirs including a teddy bear and a snow globe. When we got back to Redding, we stopped at the Goodwill. I found some great things while shopping at Goodwill. Some of my favorites include a Barbie doll from 1997, a Barbie car, and lots of Mary-Kate and Ashley books. It was truly an adventure filled day! Weekend highlights

Hello,my bucket list friends! This weekend was pretty great so I thought it would be fun to share it with all of you. I hope all of you had a great weekend as well!

Going to Target – Friday after work I went to Target. I got a lot of fun things including a small Barbie color reveal doll,a Barbie doll that came with a bathtub, shoe liners to wear with my Crocs, a My Little pony coloring book, bath bombs and two art kits.

Bath bombs – I used two bath bombs this weekend. One on Friday night and one on Sunday. The one I used Friday night was one of the ones that had gotten a Target that day. It was a little mermaid themed bath bomb and came with a cute pendent inside it. The bath bomb I used on Sunday was also from Target but I got it on a different shopping trip. It’s was an ice cream cone shaped bath bomb and it had a cute squishy toy hidden inside. This bath bomb was very similar to another bath bomb that I had gotten at Target before except for it was in the shape of a gummy bear.

Art ! – I did one of the art kits that I got at Target. It was make your own necklace kit where you painted a large butterfly. It came with three colors and it was very simple. I enjoyed this fun and quick project.

Succulents – I finally got around to planning the succulents that I already had. I put all three of them in one pot and I like the way they look. I hope this becomes a new hobby for me.

Celebrating mother’s Day – Sunday was mother’s Day and we went up to Napa to celebrate. We had a good lunch at a cute restaurant that had porch swings outside.

Walks – I was able to go on a couple walks this weekend. It’s amazing how something so simple can be so relaxing and enjoyable and healthy.

Bucket list #294 Go shopping at the Gilroy Outlets

Hello, my bucket list friends! I’m super happy to say that yesterday I crossed another item off my bucket list. The last time I went to the outlets,a lot of the stores were closed. However this time the stores I wanted to visit were open.My mom and I started our outlet adventure with the Disney store outlet. I’ve been to the Disney store before but not the outlet. They had good deals on a lot of items including some items from the theme parks. My favorite thing that I got was a mouse ear headband that was summer themed. After that we went to Claire’s. This location had a pretty large clearance section I enjoyed looking through all the items especially the ones on sale. I was able to find some really great accessories and one of the best curly straws I’ve ever seen in my life! After those two stores we went to go visit the California welcomeCenter again. I’ve been here once before and I love looking through all the travel brochures that they have. I had a lot of fun crossing this item off my list and I hope to go back to the Gilroy outlets sometime.

Hello, my bucket list friends! It’s time for the last post about this month’s trip to Idaho. My last day in Idaho I went to a family member’s farm and saw some very cute animals. It was like being at a petting zoo! I have so much fun each time I visit the farm. After the farm visit I went out for one last dinner with some other family members before going back home the next morning. I’m back home now and I’m happy to be back in the sunshine but I miss being able to eat inside restaurants!

On Thursday I went to go see the Titanic exhibit at the Discovery Center of Idaho. The exhibit was very interesting it was amazing to see the artifacts that came from the Titanic. At the end of the Titanic exhibit there was a dinosaur exhibit. That was fun to see. I loved dinosaurs a lot as a kid. After the Discovery Center I went for a walk on the Boise river green belt. It was a fun walk I enjoyed looking at the river. This was a really good day filled with adventure! I hope all of you are enjoying adventures as well.
