A post about my weekend and a thank you to instacart

Hello, my bucket list friends! Well another weekend has left us. This weekend was not very exciting but I thought I’d share it with you anyways so here we go! Friday was my last day of work at the child care center that I have been working at for a year. I got hired at a preschool closer to my house. It was hard to say goodbye to the kids and my coworkers. However,I know working closer to home will make things easier. After my last day of work, I walked to CVS and I got some cool things. Like a Barbie activity book ,a pink flamingo pen, and a bath bomb. I also went to the Safeway next to the CVS where I got a few things but my favorite was a peeps bubble wand! On Saturday I used that used bubble wand outside in the sunshine. It made really good bubbles I was really happy with how well it worked. Also on Saturday I got an instacart delivery from walmart. I love instacart. That delivery included two Barbie dolls, a package of bath bombs, two boxes of crayons, stickers, and two craft kits. I completed one of the craft kits a wooden cactus that you color on the day that it was delivered. I also used some of my new crayons in the Barbie activity book that I got on Friday. On Sunday I did something that I have been putting off for a long time…. my taxes! I’m so happy to be done with them at least for this year! I also spent more time outside enjoying the sunshine and I spent more time coloring in my Barbie activity book. I also used the final bath bomb that I ordered from Etsy. It was shaped like an ice cream cone and it also had sprinkles on it! It had a prize inside as well. It was a pretty relaxing weekend. Thanks for reading!

Thrift shopping, a book sale and a claw machine.

Hello, my bucket list friends! It’s time for a another post about another weekend! I wish we had more then two days off work. I wish three was normal. I feel like we could do a lot more in three days then we can in two. Plus it would make the work week more even with the weekend. Anyways, let me get my mind back on track…. OK and I’m back! My weekend started when I got off of work on Friday. I went to Walgreens to get shampoo but of course I had to look at the Easter items that they had available. I got a yellow bunny shaped light. It’s super cute! I also got this Barbie art kit that was on sale! Oh and I got candy. After I got home we went to the neighbor’s house for a dog birthday party! There were so many dogs there it was awesome. On Saturday, I started my day off by going to a local thrift store. I got there right when they opened but there were already people there. Since this store is ran my volunteers it’s hours are limited so it’s popular on Saturday. I got some great Ty Beanie Babies to add to my collection. The penguin is just so cute! I also got two Barbie dolls, and two books. One is a Barbie book the other one is a American Girl craft book. After the thrift store, I took an Uber to a book sale at a library. I had never been to this library before but I heard on the radio that they were going to be having a book sale on Saturday. I decided to check it out. I got some books that look really interesting I started reading on of them. This library also had a really cool art piece outside that I took pictures with. After that I took another Uber home. That night I went to dinner with my parents at on of my favorite local restaurants. I love that this restaurant has an arcade in it. I’m happy to say that I won three large squishy toys from the claw machine. Those machines can be had to win sometimes. On Sunday it was a beautiful day. I went for a walk and I got a frappuccino at Starbucks. I also got Kinder Joy eggs at the store on Sunday. Before the weekend was over I had time to take a nice relaxing bath. It was a pretty awesome weekend!!

Muir woods adventure 2/2022

Hello,my bucket list friends! On Wednesday, I went to Muir Woods, with my mom. It was both of our first times going there. It’s a very popular place and reservations are required. It was on the colder side on the day for our visit but it was still a beautiful day. Muir woods is definitely worth seeing it is a truly beautiful area. There are so many beautiful redwoods there. We went on a hike that was not very difficult but it was amazing! There are different trails that you can chose from. If I ever go back to Muir Woods I wonder what trail I will go on. There is so much to see here, beautyis all around you. There were a lot of plaques that told you about different things in the park such as the animals there and historical facts. Before we went on our hike we went to the cafe for coffee and the gift shop for souvenirs. I have so many great pictures from this day. Some of my favorite pictures I got were of the sun shining through the tress. On the way back to the car, I stopped and took pictures whith this wooden sculpture that depicted the wingspan of different birds. This a place that is definitely worth visiting especially for nature lovers! Another fun thing about this day was driving over the Golden Gate Bridge. We also explored the Suto Baths in San Francisco. This is also a very interesting place that is worth checking out. It was a great day of exploring and I can’t wait for another day like this.

Some of my other finds include a Lisa Frank pencil pouch, two Barbie yo-yos,a Disney hat,a charm bracelet, and a pair of fuzzy socks. On Saturday I went on a walk with my mom and the neighbor’s dog. It was nice to get out and walk. Walking is great for stress relief. I also did a sticker art project that I had been wanting to do for a while. It is a project from this American Girl sticker kit I have. Also on Saturday I got Starbucks and went to Walgreens. Walgreens has some Valentines day items out and I ended up buying a tube of mini skateboards and a tube of pencils from the Valentines day section. I also got a bag of my favorite vegan candy. After all that we went to a family gathering. It was so good to see my sister since I don’t see her as nearly as often as I would like to. On Sunday I went to Starbucks again. When I went to pick up my mobile order, I saw that they had some free frappuccinos! I was so excited! I chose the strawberry one. We also went to Pharmaca where I got some lip balm along with some other things. We went to Safeway too where I got some Kinder Joy eggs. I love that they come with toys. This was my first time ever going river rafting and I was a little nervous but excited at the same time. It was scary at some parts but I enjoyed it overall. There was a photographer that got some great pictures of us! That night we went to Black Bear Diner and I got some fun pictures there too.

Weekend road trip May 2021 Part one

Hello, my bucket list friends! This weekend I went on a family road trip. It was a big adventure and I can’t wait to tell you more about it so here we go! My adventure started on Friday after work. When we began the drive up to Redding it took about four hours. We made a stop for dinner. After dinner we went straight to the hotel to get some sleep. We had a big day ahead of us. On Saturday we started off our day with a tour of the Shasta caverns. After driving and parking we had to take a boat and a bus to get to the caverns. I had a fun time on the boat. Once we got to the caverns I was amazed at how beautiful they were! I felt like an explorer as I walked around the caverns taking pictures. If you ever get the chance to check it out I highly recommend it! After exploring the caverns it was time to explore the gift shop. I got some fun things at the gift shop including a hat and a magnet. Are next adventure was at McArthur-Burney Falls Memorial State Park. It was hard to get to because there were so many people there. It took a long time to get in. Also finding a parking spot seemed impossible. My mom and I went to look at the falls while my dad looked for a parking spot. I didn’t think that we would be able to enjoy the park altogether. However eventually we were able to find a parking space and go explore all together. We looked at the beautiful waterfall and then took a hike around the waterfall. There were so many people looking at the waterfall that it was overwhelming for me. I could understand why there was so many people there it was such a beautiful place and it was also a holiday weekend. However after we looked at the waterfall and and started on our hike, we noticed that there were not near as many people around. The hike was relaxing and enjoyable. After the hike we went to the store that they have at the park. I got some great souvenirs including a teddy bear and a snow globe. When we got back to Redding, we stopped at the Goodwill. I found some great things while shopping at Goodwill. Some of my favorites include a Barbie doll from 1997, a Barbie car, and lots of Mary-Kate and Ashley books. It was truly an adventure filled day!
