Some photos and highlights from this week!

It is no secret that I love taking pictures and writing about the fun little things in my everyday life. I thought it would be fun to share some pictures and things that I enjoyed this week. I’m also going to include Friday in this post since I will be including Monday in my next weekend post. Let’s get to it!

Monday – On this day, I worked the opening shift. I got to town early because sometimes it can be hard to get Uber to come to my house quickly. I went to the coffee shop like normal, but I decided that I did not want to wait there until my shift started. Even though I had not planned on it , I went to the thrift store. I was excited when I got to the thrift store, and I saw that there was a buy one get one free on stuffed animals. I got a Build a Bear and a TY Bennie Boo. They were priced at $5 each, so I got them both for only $5. I also got some books and a bag of erasers. After work, I went to Starbucks and went for a walk in the park. That evening, I went on a walk to go see my favorite ponies.

Tuesday – I worked the opening shift this day. Before work I went to the coffee shop and after work I went to the candy store. I was having a craving for chocolate. I got a bunch of chocolate from the bulk bins a, lollypop with a plastic mouth attached, and I also got a soda to do a review of. I have not tried the soda yet, but I plan to soon. I went to the park after work, and I took this really cute selfie on a swing. I ended up making it my profile picture for Facebook and Instagram.

Wednesday – I had this day off. I decided to focus on my writing. I published an article on Vocal Media ( You can read it HERE ). I also published my weekend blog post. ( You can read it HERE ) Other than that, I just stayed home and relaxed except for going on a walk to see my favorite ponies.

Thursday – On this day, I worked the closing shift. It was a normal day with coffee before work. Someone brought donuts to work, and that is all I have to say about Thursday.

Friday – On this day, I worked the opening shift my. My friend took me to work but before that we went to Starbucks. It was great to have coffee with a friend. It is always harder to see friends when everyone’s schedule is different. That was a wonderful way to start my day! My shift went well, and I went to the candy store afterward. I got a ring pop and another lollypop that has plastic lips attached. That evening, I went to Safeway, where I got two juices that have toys as part of the lid, and I also got cupcakes that come with rings. They only had the ones with rings in a large container, so I had some and took the rest to work.

Being social and shopping my week in review

Hello, my bucket list, friends! Last week had some really great moments. I decided to make a blog post highlighting those moments. Without any more introduction, let’s get to it!

Monday – This day was a really amazing one. My friend and I both were off on this day, and this is a rare occurrence. I was very excited for us to spend they day together. We did some of our favorite things. We went to Starbucks and went on a walk. went shopping at Five Below, and we ended the day by going to Yogurtland. My friend had never been to Five Below before, and I was excited to show it to her. I got many fun items, including Barbie sunglasses, a Barbie puzzle, a My Little Pony toy, a Barbie tea set, a painting art kit, and new earbuds, I also got a Squishmallow. I’m not going to start collecting them because I collect so many things already, but I was excited about the price, plus they are very cute. It was also a lot of fun going to Yogurtland. I love being creative and making my own frozen yogurt creation. However, the best thing about the day was getting to spend time with my friend.

Tuesday – On this day, I worked the morning shift. Before work, I got coffee at the place I normally do. Work went well, and after work, I got some Kinder Joy eggs at Safeway. It was a simple but good day.

Wednesday – On this day, I also worked the morning shift. I started the day with coffee just like the day before. I also had a good day at work just like I had the day before. However, this day was different because I went to my favorite local thrift store after work. It had not been long since I was there last so there were not a lot of new items but I did get some good items. including an American Girl book and a sheet of Easter stickers. I enjoyed going thrift shopping, of course, but my favorite part of the day was going out to eat with family members that I had not seen in a while. I got to eat pizza and have good conversations. it was a really great day.

Thursday – I was off on this day, and I got to see my friend again. It was a last-minute thing, but I was so excited to see her again. We went to Walgreens and Starbucks. At Walgreens, I got a new Pez dispenser. We only hung out for a little while because I wanted to get back home, but it was truly amazing to see my friend twice in one week.

Thanks for reading about my week! I hope you are all enjoying the month of April!

Celebrating this week’s little moments

Hello, my bucket list, friends! I have been told that some people appreciate the way I highlight the little everyday moments in life. I often highlight little moments in my weekend blog posts. However, I have had some fun moments this week that I want to highlight. Without any more introduction, let’s get to it!

Monday- I worked the closing shift on this day. I got coffee before work at a local coffee shop that is close to my work. I enjoyed my coffee, and work went well. After work, I went to Whole Foods. I got some soup because it has definitely been soup weather lately. I also got some boxes of Annie’s macaroni and cheese. I like how the boxes have projects on the back of the box that you can make. Another thing I was excited about getting was the fruit snacks that have trading cards in them. I love how the current series of cards has animals on them. Oh, and I got cinnamon mints, too! It was a good way to start the weekdays.

Tuesday – I had the day off. I stayed home most of the day, but I did go out in the evening. I went to Walgreens, and I got two fun items. One is a bunny shaped pop toy that came with gumballs. The other is a doughnut Pez dispenser. I just love how cute this Pez dispenser is! I wonder what Pez dispenser I will get next.

Wednesday – I was scheduled to work the morning shift this day. However, after I had coffee at the same coffee shop I went to on Monday, I discovered that the power was out at work. Unfortunately, it would not be coming back on soon, and I didn’t want to pay to take another Uber. I decided to stay in town until my mom could pick me up. Frist, I walked to my favorite local thrift shop, but their power was also out. Since I had a lot of time, I walked to the other thrift shop in town. This shop often does not have items that I’m interested in, so I didn’t expect to find anything. However, I’m happy to say that I found a Mickey Mouse hat from Disneyland! Due to the logo on the inside of the hat, I believe that it is from the 2000s. After buying the hat, I walked to the candy store. I ened buying a lollipop that is attached to a plastic bunny mouth, so when you eat the lollipop, it makes you look like a bunny! After that, I just stayed in a park and entertained myself with my phone while I waited for my mom to pick me up. It did start raining at one point, but it was easy to find a place that was covered.

Thanks for reading! I hope you have a lot of great moments this week!

Hey, look, it’s another weekend blog post!

Hello, my bucket list, friends, and happy Monday! It is time for another what I did this weekend blog post. I guess I haven’t gotten tired of writing these yet. I actually kind of look forward to writing these posts each week, and that is kind of funny because with my current job, I work at least one day during the weekend. Last week I worked Friday and Saturday. I also worked yesterday, so every day I talk about in this post will be a work day. Alright, with all that being said, let’s get to it!

Friday – On this day, I worked the closing shift. Before my shift started, I went to Starbucks and the toy store that is close to my work. At the toy store, I got two eggs that have a squishy toy inside, plus other surprises. I also got a PEZ dispenser, some fun shaped erasers, and a toy that has suction cups so that it can be stuck to different surfaces. After shopping at the toy store, I walked to work to begin my shift. Friday was also St. Patrick’s Day, and there was a big celebration going on close to my work. I got to hear the band playing while I was working. I felt like I was part of the celebration even though I was at work. After work, I went to Safeway. In addition to basic food items, I also got three more Kinder Joy eggs! It was a good way to start the weekend.

Saturday – I also worked the closing shift on this day. Before going to work, I went to a few places, including Walgreens. At Walgreens, I got some stuff I needed like shampoo, but I also got some fun things. In the Easter section, I got two light up toy chicks, a pen that also lights up and has a carrot on top, and a plush bunny that is also a bracelet. I also got a tin of mints for my purse. In addition to Walgreens, I went to Petco ,Starbucks, and the park before going to work. I really enjoyed walking in the park. It was not super sunny when we were at the park, but it was not raining either. The park was not very busy and that was nice. Work went well, and I went home afterward. It was a pretty good day.

Sunday – This day, I worked the opening shift. I went to a local coffee shop before the shift started. I also went to the candy store, and I got some vegan gummy bears and taffy. I had a pretty good day at work, and I went home afterward. However, I decided I needed more coffee and some food as well. I ordered Panera Bread on Uber Eats. I was so happy when it was derived. I love their hazelnut coffee so much! A delivery from Panera Bread is a good way to end your weekend.

Thank you for reading and have a blessed week.

Books, walking and two more Kinder eggs !

Hello, my bucket list, friends! I had a pretty good day on Tuesday, so I decided to write a blog post about it. There is a book store not to far from where I live that has both used and new books. I like to go there to get their used books because new books are pretty pricey. Yesterday I  went there to see what I could find. I was hoping to get some American Girl books, but they did not have any. However, I did get a My Little Pony book, a Barbie book, and another book that looked like it would be good. The prices were really good since all the books I got were used. After the book store, my mom and I went for a walk on one of my favorite local walking trails. Before we had gone to the books store we went to Starbucks so I took my coffee on the walk with us. It was a windy day, so it was a little on the cold side, but it was not bad over all. I was happy to be walking on that trail again. When we had finished our walk, we went to Safeway. I was pretty hungry after the walk. I got some regular food items, of course, like bread and fruit, but I also got two Kinder Joy eggs and a new flavor. Coke a Cola that I’m excited to try and review. It was a pretty fun day!

Taking walks, taking pictures, making a mess, and drinking coffee

Hello, my bucket list, friends! January seemed to go by pretty fast, but here we are in February, and it seems to be dragging slowly by at times. It’s probably partly due to the cold. I’m a summer girl. I’m not a huge fan of the cold and having to bundle up. Don’t get me wrong. This is an important season, but I would rather have sunshine and flipflops. I’m looking forward to the summer, and I hope time starts to pick up a bit and then slows down again when the summertime gets here. I have big plans for the summer so I have to stop my spending for a while to save up and that is already frustrating me. Anyways I should probably stop ranting and get on with the post. I started this post so I could write about what I did yesterday. I had the day off yesterday, and I stayed home for most of the day. I posted an article on Vocal Media. ( You can read it HERE ) I was also watching my neighbor’s dog, so we went on a walk. On our walk, I took a bunch of photos, including one of a deer. It is not a very good picture because the deer was kind of faraway, but I’m happy I got to see it. Walks are good for my health, so I was kind of glad that the dog made me get out and walk. Later on in the day, I got a craft kit from my room and brought it up to the table. It was a craft kit where you put colorful gems on plastic figures. I ended up getting frustrated with how hard it was to put the gemstones on that I just ended up dumping the gems on the plastic figure that I had chosen. It made a big mess, but I’m ok with how the project turned out, but I won’t be buying any more kits like this in the future. The highlight of yesterday was going to Starbucks. After Starbucks, I went on another walk. It was an okay day overall, and I’m glad I learned more about what kinds of craft kits not to buy!

My weekend fun, including Savers and Point Lobos!

Hello, my bucket list, friends! This is another weekend blog post, but I did some really fun things this weekend that I’m excited to tell you about, so let’s get to it!

Friday – The big highlight of this day was going to Savers! This was my first thrift shopping trip of 2023 . I was super excited to go to Savers and see what I could find. However, before we went to Savers, we went to Starbucks. I found some really great items to add to my collection. Two of my favorite items that I got were a Barbie doll and a Barbie book that had a picture of the doll that got on the cover. I didn’t realize that until I got home. It was a pleasant surprise. Some other items I got were an Equestria girls doll, a Barbie matching game, a Ty beanie Boo and My Little Pony party invitations. It was a great thrift shopping trip to start the year with. After thrift shopping, I went to Safeway. I go this really amazing cupcake with two rings on it. Friday was a pretty awesome day.

Saturday – Just like Friday, Saturday was a really great day! My mom and I went to Point Lobos. It is a truly beautiful place. The water was such a beautiful color, and the Cypress trees were very interesting to look at. I had a wonderful time hiking and taking in the beautiful views. I also got some fun souvenirs at this cart that was located by the trail head to the Cypress trail. Point Lobos is definitely worth going to if you get the chance. It was so amazingly gorgeous that it was had to believe that it was actually real at times. I highly recommend adding this location to your bucket list. I wish I had had this location on my bucket list because it was so interesting and beautiful. After exploring Point Lobos, we went to Monterey. In Monterey, we got coffee at a place called Tidal Coffee. The coffee was really good here, and so was the veggie burrito. We also got some fancy soaps at a store on Cannery Row. The soap I got has a unicorn toy in it. Then we met my dad for dinner before driving back home. It was a really wonderful day.

Sunday – This day started off with a walk. We got to see my some of my favorite animal friends on our walk. After our walk, we went into town and we went to Petco, got coffee at Starbucks, walked in the park, and I went to two different grocery stores and CVS. At Safeway, I got this plastic egg that has a surprise toy inside. I also want to add that I went down one of the slides at the park. The rest of the day was spent relaxing at home. It was a great way to end the weekend.

Thanks for reading about my fun filled weekend!

The not so great things that have happened so far this year

Hello, my bucket list, friends! I know I usually keep a happy tone on this blog, but every now and them, I need to rant about the things that have been stressing me out, and this is one of those times. When 2022 turned into 2023, I was and still am very optimistic about the year ahead. However, we all know that life is not all cupcakes and roses. Pretty early on in 2023, I got the news that the store I had been working at since October was going to be closing. Back in October, I made the choice to leave the field of childcare due to my stress level also I was wanting to pursue other careers. I was happy when I got hired at the health food store (Urban Remedy), and I have really enjoyed my time working there. I was upset when I found out the store was closing because it meant that I had to leave a great job it also meant that I had to go back on the job hunt again. I hate going on interviews it makes me nervous. However, I’m happy to say I got a job that I’m excited about, but it was a long road to get there. The other not so great thing that happened to me was somehow I ended up getting pink eye! Not only is pink eye unpleasant, but it also caused me to miss a day of work. When the infection cleared up, I was ready to go back to work the next day. However, due to a power outage, that was not possible. I’m happy to say that things are looking up now. I’m excited to start my new job and see what adventures are waiting for me!

Paint + Pez +pasta = my weekend!

Hello, my bucket list, friends! It is time for another weekend blog post! I’m including Friday in this weekend blog post as I do with a lot of my weekend blog posts. Without any more introduction, let’s get to it!

Friday – I didn’t go anywhere on Friday unless walking outside in the rain counts. However, on Friday evening, I got to eat pizza, and I had been craving pizza. I also decided to do a Breyer horse art kit that I had. It was hard to open the paints in the kit, and I wish that they had been a wider variety of colors included. The colors that came with the kit were black, brown, and white. It makes sense because those are realistic colors when it comes to horses, but it was kind of hard to paint with just those colors. When I was done, my horse looked like he had been rolling in the mud, which is something horses do, so I chose to name him Muddy!

Saturday – The first activity I did on Saturday was going on a nice walk during a break in the rain. Even though everything was wet, it was still nice to get out and walk. After that, my mom and I went into town to do some errands. We went to Pet Co, and they were doing cat adoptions there. I enjoyed seeing all the super cute kittens! We also went to Starbucks and Safeway. Starbucks is always a highlight for me. However, my favorite part of this day was going to Safeway and getting a new PEZ dispenser! I’ve gotten into collecting PEZ dispensers lately, and I was happy to add another Valentine’s day themed one to my small collection of PEZ dispersers. I also got a vegetarian cup of noodles at Safeway. I ate it that afternoon, and I had way too much fun taking pictures with the noodles! It was a pretty good day.

Sunday – I stayed home all day on Sunday. I stayed in my pajamas and relaxed most of the day. However, I did publish a short story on vocal media for a contest they are having. ( You can read it HERE) It took me a while to write, and I’m really happy how it turned out. That evening, I made some super yummy rainbow pasta it was the perfect way to end the weekend.

Thanks for reading about my weekend! I hope you are having a wonderful week!
