Goodwill adventure and a hike

Hello, my bucket list friends ! On Saturday I had a fun adventure with my mom and my friend Amy. It all started when my mom and I met Amy outside of the Goodwill. I was excited to see what we could find. I was a able to get a few fun items on this thrift trip. Some of my favorite items that I got were a Vermont Teddy Bear, an American girl cookbook, and a make your own puzzle art kit. After our thrift store adventure. Amy took us to her favorite coffee place called coffee cat. Their coffee was so amazingly good I can’t wait to go there again. After that we had one more thing to do. Amy took us to one of her favorite hiking spots that had amazing views. I had a fun time exploring a new place. I hope all of you are having wonderful days as well.

Starting off February with a trip to Savers

Hello, my bucket list friends! On Tuesday, I had the day off so I decided to go to Savers. When I go to Savers I head right to the book section. However since it was senior discount day there was a pretty long line outside. My mom was with me so we were able to get the discount as well. After waiting in line I went to the book section. During this thrift shopping trip, I got books from some of my favorite series such as American Girl and Candy Fairies. In addition to some great books I found two Barbie dolls to add to my collection, some art kits and a Build a Bear Fluttershy. I’ve been trying to collect all the main My Little Pony Build a Bear toys and now I only have one more left to find. At the end of this thrift trip while my mom was in line to pay I went to look at the shoes. When I was looking at the shoes in my size, I saw a pair that really caught my eye. The shoes were covered in pictures of animals! It was a very successful thrift shopping trip. I was so happy that I found more candy fairies book I’ve been looking for those books for a while! First Savers haul of 2021

Hello, my bucket list friends ! On Saturday after work, I decided to go to Savers to see what treasures I could find. My favorite thing to get at Savers is books. Their books are priced really well and they always seem to have a lot of them. When my mom and I got to the store there was a line outside but when we made it in we headed right for the book section. I found nine books this time plus two Barbie dolls and a big bag of beads. My mom also got some books. My favorite thing that I got is a Bennie Baby collector’s book from the 90’s. Overall it was a good thrift shopping trip.

First thrift trip of 2021

Hello, my bucket list friends last month I shared my last thrift shopping trip of 2020 with all of you. Now, It’s time to talk about my first thrift shopping trip of 2021. On January first I went to the same goodwill that I had gone to for my pervious thrift trip. They were having a new years sale so I was curious to see what deals I could find. I went later in the afternoon and I was happy to see that there was not a line outside. There was a good amount of empty shelf space just like the last time I was there. However I still found some great items. Some of my favorite finds from this trip are a picture frame craft kit, a lunch box that has the same pattern has my purse, and a TY beanie baby turtle. I also got a shirt that was originally from Old Navy. I can’t wait to rock it this year!

Last thrift trip of 2020

Hello, my bucket list friends! Yesterday, I went thrift shopping for the last time in 2020! I went to one of my favorite Goodwill locations and I was surprised to see how empty a lot of the shelves were. However I was still able to find some great items. Some of my favorite items I found include a foam visor craft kit, two Christmas crafts kits that were both 50% off, an American Girl book and a pair of unicorn slippers. I wonder what I will find on my first thrift shopping trip of 2021.

Hello, my bucket list friends! Recently I went on a fun shopping trip to the Goodwill. I went to get new jeans but of course I found more then that. I can’t wait to tell you more about my latest thrift finds so let’s get to it !

September Goodwill fun !

If I’m remembering correctly the first thing that I put in my basket was an American Girl sticker art set! I was excited to find this kit because I love stickers and American Girl! In the toy aisle I got a Build a Bear horse I named her happy. I also found a Beanie Baby that was on my wish list. It was good day when it came to books as well . I got two American Girl books and two My Little Pony books! Of course I also got the jeans that I came for in the first place.

Yesterday’s Goodwill trip

Hello,my bucket list friends! As you can tell from this post’s title I went shopping at the Goodwill yesterday. It’s no secret that I love thrift shopping and I get pretty excited whenever I go so without further delay let’s dive into yesterday’s shopping trip.

 

Yesterday’s Goodwill trip

I’m going to start this off by saying that I got an unopened Melissa and Doug craft kit! It was my favorite find of the trip but it was not the only Melissa and Doug item that I bought yesterday ,I also got a Melissa and Doug bead kit. As far as arts and crafts go in addition to my Melissa and Doug finds I got a Crayola craft kit as well. One of my main reasons for this shopping trip was to find a book for next month’s book club. I got a few books and I’m still deciding which book I want to read for my book club. Thrift stores are great places to find books because they usually have pretty low prices. I also got some new jeans and a shirt. It was a very successful thrift shopping trip.

Goodwill Shopping adventure May 2020

Hello, my bucket list friends ! Recently I did one of my favorite things, Thrift shopping! I didn’t get a lot of stuff but I did get some pretty great things that I can’t wait to tell you about so let’s go!

 

Goodwill Shopping adventure May 2020

One of my main goals for this shopping trip was to get some more craft kits. I’ve being doing a fair amount of craft kits lately and I don’t want to run out. I found a bundle of a few items that had a pack of fuzzy pencils on top but included two craft kits. One was a wooden airplane kit the other one was a clay art by number kit. Then I found a unicorn wind chime craft kit.  I was also hoping to find some American Girl books and I was excited to find one pretty quickly after I got to the book section. After the books I moved on to clothes where I got two shirts and a dress.It was an overall successful thrift shopping trip!

Thrift shopping is awesome !

Hello, my bucket list friends ! As a lot of you probably know I love thrift shopping and I’ve been doing a good amount of it lately. I thought that it would be a good idea to write about why I love it so much . Here we go !

 

Thrift shopping is awesome !

The first thing that comes to mind when I think about thrift shopping is the excitement. When you walk into a thrift store you never know what you are going to find. Yes, it’s true that there have been sometimes when I have not found anything that I was really excited about on a thrift trip. On the other hand There have been times when I have walked away with lots of treasures ! Lately I’ve have some really good finds such as American Girl books , craft kits, Disney items , and more ! There is something truly special about the feeling you get when you find a really awesome item! The next thing I think about when I think of thrift shopping is the nostalgia of finding items that remind me of my childhood and even finding things that I had years ago. It is also a really awesome feeling when I find one of those nostalgic items. A well know benefit of thrift shopping is saving money! I have found some amazing deals ,I have also found things that I thought were priced on the high side. Overall I have been happy with the prices. If your looking to save money you should consider giving thrift shopping a try. When I go thrift shopping it feels like i’m going on a adventure. I love going thrift shopping with other people. I get excited for them when they find something that they are really excited about.  I can’t wait for my next thrift shopping trip !What are your favorite things about thrift shopping?
