A Barbie Easter basket,Dollar Tree, and Savers!

Hello, my bucket list friends! I’m a very happy collector at the moment. In the past few days I’ve managed to add some really great things to my collection. On Thursday I was at the grocery store and I just had to have this Barbie themed Easter basket. I love the puzzle that it comes with. On Friday I  went to the Dollar Tree after work. I got two packages of squishy toys, a container of play-doh that has two colors inside, model magic, canvas and bunny shaped containers. I loved seeing all the Easter items that they had this year. I’m also happy that they are still selling the Jelly Belly sparkling waters. I got one of each flavor. Yesterday, I went to Savers. We went earlier in the day so it was neat and organized. I’m not used to seeing it like that! I was very happy with the items I was able to add to my collection. Some of my favorite finds I got were a Barbie color reveal doll, a Barbie doll book, a TY Beanie Baby bear,two packages of Lisa Frank Easter bubbles, full house books, a Disney mug, and a package of Lisa Frank pencils! I also got this American Girl activity box that comes with lots of cards that have crafts, quizzes and more fun ideas printed on them. I was happy to see that they had more dolls this time. There was not a lot of dolls but there were more then there has been. I hope to find more great items the next time I visit Savers.

Thrift shopping, a book sale and a claw machine.

Hello, my bucket list friends! It’s time for a another post about another weekend! I wish we had more then two days off work. I wish three was normal. I feel like we could do a lot more in three days then we can in two. Plus it would make the work week more even with the weekend. Anyways,let me get my mind back on track…. OK and I’m back! My weekend started when I got off of work on Friday. I went to Walgreens to get shampoo but of course I had to look at the Easter items that they had available. I got a yellow bunny shaped light. It’s super cute! I also got this Barbie art kit that was on sale! Oh and I got candy. After I got home we went to the neighbor’s house for a dog birthday party! There were so many dogs there it was awesome. On Saturday, I started my day off by going to a local thrift store. I got there right when they opened but there were already people there. Since this store is ran my volunteers it’s hours are limited so it’s popular on Saturday. I got some great Ty Beanie Babies to add to my collection. The penguin is just so cute! I also got two Barbie dolls, and two books. One is a Barbie book the other one is a American Girl craft book. After the thrift store, I took an Uber to a book sale at a library. I had never been to this library before but I heard on the radio that they were going to be having a book sale on Saturday. I decided to check it out. I got some books that look really interesting I started reading on of them. This library also had a really cool art piece outside that I took pictures with. After that I took another Uber home. That night I went to dinner with my parents at on of my favorite local restaurants. I love that this restaurant has an arcade in it. I’m happy to say that I won three large squishy toys from the claw machine. Those machines can be had to win sometimes. On Sunday it was a beautiful day. I went for a walk and I got a frappuccino at Starbucks. I also got Kinder Joy eggs at the store on Sunday. Before the weekend was over I had time to take a nice relaxing bath. It was a pretty awesome weekend!!

Thrifting on a Tuesday

Hello,my bucket list friends! It’s no secret that I love to go thrift shopping. I usually go on the weekends because I don’t work however, that’s when most people like to go as well. I decided to go thrift shopping on a week day. Last Tuesday my mom and I went to Savers. Tuesday is senior discount day so it was still crowded but my mom qualified for the discount so that was good. I got a good amount of items like I almost always do when I go to Savers. The items I got on this trip include, a bunch of Discovery Girls magazines, a Barbie book, a My Little Pony play-doh set, a Lion King Keychain, and a Barbie doll. There was not a large selection of dolls I hope there are more the next time I go to Savers. I also got a robot bank art kit. I’m excited to paint  it. Oh I also got a Keychain from Disney’s paradise pier hotel. I stayed in that hotel a long time ago and I was so excited when I saw the Keychain. Thanks for reading about my thrift shopping fun.

Massage,mall, and Savers!

Hello, my bucket list friends! On Saturday I did a lot of my favorite things! It started with going to the mall. I love getting massages at the mall because you don’t need an appointment. I had a lot of tight mussels that needed to be worked out. I’m so glad I got a massage I really needed it. While at the mall I went shopping to two of my favorite stores. First I went to Claire’s where I got new hair bows ,hair Scrunchies, and jewelry. I also went to Daiso where I got some super cute stickers ,socks , buttons, a Disney wash cloth and more! I went to Jamba Juice before I left the mall. However, my shopping fun was not over yet. I also went to Savers. I didn’t find a lot of items on this Savers trip but I did get some cool American girl items. I got a Kirsten bookend, an American Girl bag and a American Girl craft kit. I also got a Disneyland mug, a bag of two beanie babies and a necklace. It was a pretty good shopping day but I hope Savers has some more dolls when I go there next. I was so surprised to see that there were only a few dolls in the doll section and none were Barbies! However I’m very happy with the items I did find . Thanks for reading!

Goodwill haul and more!

Hello,my bucket list friends it time for another post about some things I found at the thrift store but it is also time for me to talk about all the random things on my mind. Let’s start with the Goodwill first. I went to the Goodwill on Sunday it wasn’t planned ahead of time we just kind of ended up there. It was a good day for American Girl items I got two activity kits and two books. I really love the American Girl quiz book that I got. I also got a mermaid Barbie doll. It was a good day at Goodwill! As for the other things on my mind let’s start with Vocal Media. I recently published two new posts on Vocal Media. Ok…. what should I talk about next? Oh! I’m having a lot of fun posting reels on Instagram! I like posting videos of throwing bath bombs into the bathtub and they actually get a good amount of views! On Tuesday, I got three Kinder Joy eggs that were Easter themed. I love seeing different themed eggs from Kinder. I wonder what fun theme I will see next.

My latest shopping fun 1/22

Hello, my bucket list friends! Shopping has been one of my favorite hobbies for years now! The past two days I’ve gotten to do some fun shopping and I wanted to share it with you. On Friday I went to a local toy store. I was happy to see that the store had some items on sale that were displayed towards the front of the store. From that display, I got a jar of bath bombs that have prizes inside. I’m excited to see what prizes are in the bath bombs. I love getting Breyer horses at this toy store. This time I got three small blind bag horses and a horse you can paint. I also got a sea animal art kit. I’ll let you know when I paint the horse! Yesterday, I went to the Goodwill. There were a lot of items to look at. I  was able to find some items that I was excited to  take home with me. Some of my favorite items that I got yesterday were a My Little Pony Monopoly board game, a Barbie doll that was wearing a very pretty dress,a Build a Bear brand bunny plush, a twisty pet that was still in the package, a Lisa Frank coloring book, an American Girl activity book, a Barbie story book with stickers, and a lamp for my desk. It was a successful thrift shopping trip. I need to start working on my reading goal for this year maybe I will start with some of the books I got yesterday.

Self care weekend

Hello, my bucket list friends! My stress level has be high lately so I decided to make this a self care weekend. Today is Sunday and can officially say that I have a sore throat and that I’m feeling pretty out of it. I’m not surprised because there has been something going around at my work. I’m happy to say though that it wasn’t till last night I started to feel off so I did enjoy my Friday night and Saturday. On Friday evening I did one of my favorite things. I took a bubble bath with two bath bombs. The bath bombs I used were Christmas themed and they both had prizes in them. I also printed out some coloring pages from Crayola on Friday. If you’re looking for some great coloring pages to print. I highly recommend going to Crayola’s website. Yesterday, I continued to do some of my favorite things to help me de-stress. I went to a local thrift store to see what I could find. This thrift store has shorter hours then the big name stores but I have been trying to visit this store more often. I bought a few fun things including a Barbie doll and a Build a Bear reindeer plush. I also got a very cute Coca-Cola polar bear plush. While we were in town we also went to Starbucks for coffee. Coffee is one of my favorite drinks. When we got home my mom and I went on a walk. The weather was perfect for one. Later that evening we went to a family members house for game night! That brings us today. I plan to spend today relaxing and writing another one of my favorite things.

Veterans day parade and a trip to Savers

Hello, my bucket list friends! Yesterday was veterans day. My mom and I both had the day off work. We decided to go to a veterans day parade. We bought flags and had a fun time waving them at the parade! There was music, dogs, and a lot of cool cars to name a few things. The parade was a lot longer then I thought it would be. The fun just kept on coming! I really loved the marching bands. After the parade we went to Savers. I had a coupon for 30% off certain items. We spent a good amount of time in Savers the more time we spent there the more items I found. Some of my favorite items I got yesterday are a plush unicorn backpack, a Ken doll, Disney Christmas items, two Barbie dolls and a Christmas necklace. It was a great to have a day off but it was weird to have a Thursday off then have to come back to work today. At least today is Friday and I have two days off to look forward to.

Savers in the morning and more adventures

Hello,my bucket list friends! Yesterday was a pretty busy day but it was mostly the fun kind of busy. We ending up leaving the house earlier then we normally would. After we went to Starbucks we got to Savers a little bit before it opened. There were are few people waiting outside already so I decided to join the line. By the time the store opened,there was a pretty long line of people behind us. As soon as we got in the store there were carts waiting for us. I grabbed one and headed to the back of the store where the toys are. I was excited to see that there was so many beanie babies! I ended up getting four bags that had two beanies each. Also on the same wall there was a bag with two Lion King plush toys in it! I love finding 90s Lion King items. I also got the Lion King sound track. One of my other favorite finds from this trip is an American Girl art studio kit. I also got two pairs of jeans and some Disney key chains. It was a successful thrift trip! After that we had some errands to run including Whole Foods and mailing an item that I sold on Poshmark. We went back to the house to get my neighbor’s dog. We had plans to go to a pumpkin patch with Amy but due to traffic that didn’t end up happening. We ended up going to dog park and taking a walk around the park where the dog park is. Last night I listed some more items on Poshmark. I’m getting more into this reselling thing. Thanking for reading!

Weekday Savers trip

Hello, my bucket list friends! Yesterday after work I went to Savers for some evening thrift shopping. I like going to thrift store during the week if I can because it is usually less crowded. On this thrift trip I got two Barbie dolls including one with purple hair, an American Girl craft kit, a Barbie book that still had a necklace included,a Disney World popcorn bucket, and a bag of two beanie babies. I did pretty good in the book department in addition to the Barbie book I mentioned above I got two other Barbie books,some Wish Bone books two American Girl books and a Mary-Kate and Ashley book. I didn’t find any clothes on this thrift trip but I’m happy with the other things I got especially the Disney World popcorn bucket. I was so happy when I saw it on the shelf. This was overall a successful thrift trip.
