local shopping , a Target trip, and a Barbie Easter bundle

Hello, my bucket list friends! It is so crazy how fast this month is going by and as always I feel like I don’t have a enough time to blog but as always I will make time. I recently had a day off where I went to a book store and I went to Target. Also I recently visited my favorite local thrift store. I can’t wait to tell you about all this and more so let’s get to it.

Thrift store and toy store

3/11/25- On this day, I left the house early, and I went into town. First, I went to my favorite local thrift store.  I got a few cool things like a Squishmallow and a hat that looks really good on me. I also got these really cool snap-on dots that you can put on your clothes. After getting coffee, I went to the toy store where I got a squishy toy and a sheet of surfboard stickers.

Book store and Target

3/12/25- I had this day off. It was a rainy day, but I still made the most of it. After getting  coffee, I went to my new favorite book store . All the books are 1 or 2 dollars. I got some books from the city spies series, a book about arts and craft projects, and my favorite book that I got from this book store trip was a Barbie book that came with a bunch of cute stickers and a poster! After the book store I went to Target.  I had an order to pick up there, but I also stopped by the dollar spot where I got some cute things, including spring themed duck toys! In my pick-up order, I got some regular everyday items that I needed, but I also got some fun items like bath bombs with prizes and an art kit. However, my favorite item I got was the golden egg hunt by Nee Doh . This egg hunt is an advent calendar style box that has a squishy toy behind each door. The goal is to find the squishy golden egg. It did not take me too long to find the gold egg, but my favorite squishy toy in this box is a squishy butterfly ring. I highly recommend getting the golden egg hunt if you love squishy toys!

Barbie Easter bundle

3/14/25

As soon as Valentine’s Day was over, stores began to put out their Easter items.  As soon as I saw this Barbie Easter bundle at Safeway, I knew I really wanted it, but it wasn’t exactly cheap. After having my eye on it for a while, I decided to buy it. It was on sale, after all. I’m happy I decided to buy it and yes, it comes with stickers.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog and for reading about some of my March adventures.

Shopping at an LA target and getting all dressed up

Hello, my bucket list, friends! In November, I went on a quick trip to LA. It was more of a business trip than a vacation, but I did get to go shopping at a really nice Target store, and I actually put make-up on.

11/14 – This was the day I left for LA, and It was also red cup day at Starbucks. I got my free Starbucks cup at my usual Starbucks location before going to the airport. I arrived in LA that evening.

11/ 15 – This was the day that I went to Target . The Christmas items were out, and I was very excited about that. I got two of the Christmas birds, and I’m really glad that I did because they are sold out at my local Targets now. I’m also glad that I got some Christmas craft kits. Some of the other things that I got were a box of air head that came with stickers, Christmas bath bombs with prizes inside, a Target dog Pez dispenser, a cup that has gingerbread men on it and a cute straw, two different surprise toys, and some Joy Ride candy! After Target I went to Ross I don’t normally go to Ross but I needed to get a dress. While I was at ross, I got an art kit, a Barbie school supplies set, and a hair bow. I also got the perfect dress. The prices at Ross are really good and I want to go to a ross again sometime.

11/16 – This was the day I got dressed up. Getting dressed up is not something I do often, but I was pretty happy with how I looked. Actually, I take that back. I was very happy with the way that I looked. I even made one of the photos of me in that dress my profile picture on social media. Maybe I should dress up more often.

11/17 – This was the day I went back home. I did some shopping at the airport before going home. I do like LA, and I hope to go back sometime.

Target shopping and a cute turtle

Hello, my bucket list, friends! I’ve gotten behind on blog posts lately. If you follow me on Instagram (Summerrockstar) or X aka Twitter ( mallstar), you know that I went on a vacation to Death Valley National Park. There may be some of you who are waiting for my posts about that, and I will get to it soon. However, before that, I wanted to do a post about a shopping trip to Target that I went on as well as an item that I got at another store. With all that being said, let’s get to it!

Saturday 2/ 17 On this day, I had work, but I left the house early so I could have time to go to Target before work. I got two bath bombs. Target has one of my favorite brands of bath bombs that have prizes inside! I also got some fun items in the dollar section, like light up bath cubes and shoe charms. In the seasonal section, I got an egg with a toy hidden inside. Other items I got included stickers and a hair clip. It was a good Target run. After Target, we went to Whole Foods. At Whole Foods, I got this plush turtle that hugs you. I had it on my arm the rest of the day, including at work. Speaking of work, I got two more surprise eggs that have toys inside. I’m excited to see what toys they have in them.

A Trip to Target on my day off

Hello, my bucket list, friends! On Wednesday I had the day off I decided that my big event of the day would be going to Target. When I got to Target, my first goal was to get a Barbie pop reveal doll. When I looked online, I saw that there were not many in stock. When I got to the Barbie isle, I was happy to see that they had the one that I wanted. I also was happy that there were Barbie pets that had two pets in each package. I got two packages. I looked around the toy section to see if there was anything else that I wanted. I got a container of kinetic sand that comes with an animal toy. I went to the dollar section, but I didn’t see anything that I wanted. In the area where they have the trading cards, I got a ball that has three surprise squishy toys inside. In the art isle, I got a pack of scented Crayola colored pencils. I also got food as well, and that was my trip to Target!

A decoupage art kit and a trip to Target

Hello, my bucket list, friends! While the summer months are pretty jammed packed with adventure, these next few months are pretty slow. However, I’m pretty good at finding things to blog about. Anyways, on Wednesday I had the day off, and I did two fun things. The first thing I want to talk about is the decoupage art kit that I got from The Goodwill in Connecticut. I have had this kit since June, and I have been wanting to use it for a while. I finally used it and I have to say I loved doing decoupage and I want to do it again. The cat that I made with the kit turned out super cute, and I want to do another kit like this one, but I have not seen many of them around. The second thing I did on Wednesday that I wanted to talk about was that I went to Target. One of the main reasons that I wanted to go to Target was to get a new Barbie color reveal doll. When I was at Target, I debated if I should get one or two color reveal dolls.  I decided to get one doll and a Barbie activity kit. Some other fun things I got were two pairs of socks, a pencil pouch, and a bath bomb with a prize inside. I also got two Kinder Joy eggs. The Kiner Joy eggs I got were a part of the National Parks series. I had not seen those kind in a while so I looked and I saw that they were expired. I still wanted the toys that were in them, so I asked for and got a discount on them. After my Target fun, I got coffee before going home. It was a pretty great day off.

Last weekend of April 2023 !

Hello, my bucket list, friends! Last weekend, we wrapped up another month of 2023! This year is truly going by very fast! I’m actually happy about that because I’m excited for summer! Anyways, it’s time to talk about what I did last weekend. Here we go!

Friday – Just like last weekend, I worked the early shift on Friday. I also went to my my favorite local thrift store after I got my coffee just like I did the Friday before. I know thrift stores are always getting new things, so I was curious to see what I could find this week. With my coffee in hand, I walked into the thrift store and began to look for treasures! Some of my favorite things that I found were two Pez dispensers (including a very cute ladybug)  a package of Crayola markers , a Garfield ruler, and an American Girl doll sewing pattern. After thrift shopping, I worked the opening shift at the plant store. My shift went well, and after my shift, I went to Safeway. At Safeway, I got three Kinder Joy eggs and a lollipop that comes with a curly straw. I also got normal food items that I needed. After going to Safeway, my mom and I went on a walk at a park. I got to go on the playground and take some pictures. It was a pretty good day.

Saturday- I also worked the opening shift at work on this day. Before work, we went to the same park that we went to the day before. After that, I picked up my order at Starbucks. Then it was time to go to work. After work , I went to Target. I was excited to go there because there were these new bath bombs that I wanted to get. They are from one of my favorite bath bomb brands. I love this brand because their bath bombs have prizes inside.  In addition to the bath bombs, I got two craft kits and a Skipper Target doll. One of the craft kits that I got is summer themed. It has a few different projects that you can make. I’m excited to make some fun summer crafts. At home that night, I used one of the bath bombs. It had a cute prize inside that looked like sunglasses. I also did a craft kit that I got at Five Below that night. It was a simple painting kit, but I really enjoyed doing it. It was a kit where you get to paint your own magnet. This one was shaped like cherries. Doing this craft kit was a great way to end the day.

Sunday – On this day, I worked the closing shift at work. I started off the morning by going to get coffee and then going to church. After church but before work, we went to the hardware store. I got one of those water games. It had the word summer on it, so of course I wanted it! After the hardware store, we went to lunch. I had a really good veggie burrito. When I got dropped off for work, I had sometime before my shift started. I went to the candy store and the coffee shop before work. At  the candy store I got some candy but I also got a Pez dispenser. After getting candy and coffee, I walked to work to begin my shift. My shift went well and after work my mom and I went on a walk it was a good way to end the weekend.
