I spent the weekend dressed like Alice Cooper

Hello,my bucket list friends! This is one of thoes what I did this weekend blog posts but with a little twist as you can see from the title. For a long time I’ve been wanting to do a blog post where I dressed like Alice Cooper. I finally decided to do it. I put together two outfits based on Alice’s style. If you would like to you can check out the pintrest board that I used for inspiration HERE . The first outfit was basically leather themed well fake leather in my case. I got the leather look jeans and leather look jack from poshmark. I had the shirt and the boots already and the necklace also came from poshmark. I have a lot of photos on my Pintrest board of Alice in outfits very similar to this one. I also got black gloves for this outfit but I forgot to wear them on Saturday. I really liked the way I looked in this outfit. The tall boots and leather look gave me a big confidence boost! We had a few things planned for the day and I was excited. The frist stop of the day was Starbucks where someone complimented me on my boots. The next stop was a pumpkin patch. The pumpkin patch was the kind that had activities as well as pumpkins. My mom and I chose to do the hayride and the corn maze. The hay ride didn’t actually have any hay on it but that was fine with me. The ride was relaxing and it was a good amount of time. Next we went to the corn maze. The maze was pretty large and it took a while to get through. During the corn maze I took of my jacket because it was getting really warm. When we made it out of the corn maze we went to get pumpkins. There were so many different pumpkins to choose from. I got a few different pumpkins but my favorite pumpkin I got was actually two pumpkins attached together. I also got a bag of taffy at the pumpkin patch because I was pretty hungry after walking through that corn maze. After out great pumpkin patch adventure we went to Michael’s to get some things to decorate our pumpkins with. I did get some jewel stickers for my pumpkin but I also got some other things to make different projects with including stamps, beads, and a craft kit. It had been a busy day but it was not over yet. We also went to the hardware store and Whole Foods. I kept my jacket off during this time because it was a pretty warm day. After doing all the things I mentioned above we went home for a little bit before going to a family member’s house for game night. When we took a break from our game to eat I went outside and did a self timer photo shoot. I love the way the photos turned out. I would use these photos as my album cover if I ever have an album!

On Sunday I dressed in another Alice Cooper inspired outfit but this one was very different from the day before. As I looked at pictures of Alice Cooper for this project I noticed there were a good amount of photos of him in these tall leppard print boots. From what I could tell he usually had on a white outfit with the boots. I also found some photos of him in a leppard print jacket and pants. I decided to combine the two outfits and this is how it looked.

As you can see it is a little more daring then the other outfit but I still liked this outfit. We had a lot of errands to run on Sunday so this outfit made its way around town. My favorite part of this outfit is the boots but they did keep sliding down. This whole outfit is very different then what I would normally have on to do Sunday errands but I wasn’t uncomfortable. I felt good in this outfit over all. While at Trader Joe’s I got a new flavor of popcorn that I can’t wait to review! It was a pretty good weekend and I want to do another blog post like this sometime!

My wonderful weekend including going to a new Target!

Hello,my bucket list friends! I had a super awesome weekend! This weekend made me feel like I was in my 20s again. My amazing weekend started on Friday when I was on the way to my friend’s house for a two day sleepover.  I decided to stop at a store to get some snacks for our sleepover fun. When my mom pulled in the the shopping center parking lot I saw that the new Target was open! The grand opening was happening on Sunday but they were having a special opening that night. I was so excited when I saw that the Target was open that I called my friend and asked her to come meet me at the Target so she could see how amazing it was. The store was decorated with balloons and I was just so excited to be there. The store was so perfectly organized. I  loved how they had the bath bombs in a very easy to find place. I was very excited to vist the toy section where I got two Barbie dolls including a Barbie color reveal doll. Of course I also had fun in the Dollar section. I got so many amazing items. On the way out we noticed that there was a table of food including a Target cake! The next day my friend and I went to an event at a thrift store that I had never been to before. This thrift store was interesting because it had a bunch of different buildings that had different categories of items. I ended up getting three different items at this event. A Starbucks travel mug, a pair of colorful vans shoes, and a book. After that we went to the Goodwill and I got so many things! Sometimes you find a lot when you go thrifting sometimes you find nothing.  I was very happy that this was one of the times I found a lot. Some of the items I got were a Orange Bird sipper from Disney World, a set of bath bombs, three TY brand toys, some clothes, a Barbie Extra toy, and a My Little Pony travel mug. After all that shopping we were ready for lunch. We went to Chili’s and it was just what we needed. The Chili’s that we went to was in a mall. We decided to walk around the mall for a bit after lunch. As we were walking we saw that a local library had set up it’s own book store. I got three books for only a dollar each! It was a great day for good deals! After the mall we went to Starbucks and the car wash. Going to a car wash is a lot of fun when you are with your friend! After that we went back to her house and we relaxed, ate pasta, and watched a lot of YouTube until it was time to go to bed. When Sunday came around I was surprised as always at how fast the time went by. Before we parted ways we went back to the Target to go to the Starbucks. The Target was so crowded good thing we had done our shopping on Friday night. It was hard to say goodbye to my friend after a wonderful weekend but I had a few things I needed to do before the week began. My parents and I went on our normal Sunday errands. The highlight of our errands was that I  got a bottle of ginger ale and I carried it to the car in my arms like it was my prized possession. Oh and that night The Rookie one of my favorite TV shows came back for another season! It was a really amazing weekend and I miss it so much! I wonder what I’ll do this weekend.

Savers, Dollar Tree,my amazing friend and more!

Hello, my bucket list friends! It’s a time for another what I did this weekend blog post. I did a few fun things this weekend that I’m excited to tell you about. So let’s get to it.

Friday –  After work I went to Savers.  I had a coupon that got me 30% off toys and other items. As always I  was excited to see what I could find. The first thing I added to my cart was a My Little Pony Lite Brite  toy. There were a few Barbie dolls available not a lot but more then I have been seeing. I got two of them. In the plush animal area I got a plush horse from Build a Bear Workshop. Some other things I got were American Girl books, TY Beanie Babies collector guides, an earing set and some wooden Christmas shapes that you can paint or color. I was very happy to have the coupon with me since I got a good amount of items.

Saturday- One thing about the weekends that can be difficult is that you have to try and fit a lot of things into a pretty short amount of time. That’s how Saturday was. However, it did end up being a very good day. I went to Starbucks then my mom and I took the neighbor’s dog for a walk in the park. After that we came home and not long after that I left with my dad to go help with making food for homeless people. It goes without saying but I think it needs to be said. It feels good to help others. Since the shelter we were volunteering at was close to where my amazing friend lives. I went to met her when we were done. We met her at one of my favorite places the Dollar Tree. It was so great to see her! It had been a while since we got to hang out.  I had so much fun shopping and talking to her. At the Dollar Tree I found so many amazing things. Including some My Little Pony blind bag bracelets and toys. As well as some other blind bag toys including some that come in little tea cups. Some other items that I got were a bath bomb with a prize inside, candy, play-doh, and a hair bow. After having a wonderful time shopping with my friend, my dad and I went to Taco Bell. I love Taco Bell it is one of the best fast food places for vegetarians. Going there was a great way to wrap up the day.

Sunday – Sunday was a little different because it did something that it does not do a lot where I live especially lately. It rained! It had been a long time since I’d seen a rainy day. We had some errands to run that day and it was good to get out of the house. I’m happy to say that one of thoes errands included going to Starbucks. We also went grocery shopping and to Walgreens. At Walgreens I got a bath bomb and a clay art kit. It was an overall relaxing day.

It’s safe to say that I had a pretty good weekend! Thanks for reading.

I got a new American Girl doll this weekend! Plus other adventures

Hello,my bucket list friends! It is time for another what I did this weekend blog post. I have some fun stuff to talk about so let’s get to it!

Friday- on Friday after work I went to the paradise that is Target. As always I found some amazing things that I just had to have. I got three bath bombs, a Barbie doll, a craft kit, socks and more! I wanted to get a another Barbie color reveal doll but I was too worried about getting the same one that I already had. However, I really like the doll I did end up getting. A trip to Target is a good way to start the weekend!

Saturday- On the first official day of the weekend, I did one my favorite things. I went thrift shopping. This time I went to a local thrift store. At first I wasn’t finding much however that turned around and I got some fun items. My three favorite things I got are a Barbie arts and crafts book, a TY plush animal, and a goldfish snack container. After the thrift store we went to Safeway. I got food for the week but I also got some cool Jelly hair ties to use as bracelets, some Ice Breaker mints and a loofah sponge. Later on that day I went on a walk go see my neighbor’s horse and pony. It had be a while since I had last seen them. It was good to see them again and I enjoyed giving them carrots!

Sunday- As you may have guessed by now, Sunday is the day I got my new American Girl doll. The story on how are got her is interesting because I didn’t just go and buy her. I actually won her! On Sunday I volunteered at the Firemen’s BBQ a local fundraiser that that is done yearly. One of my favorite parts of the the event is the raffle. Many items are in the raffle every year. Last year there was an American Girl doll that I really wanted but I didn’t win her. However, this year I was very happy to see that there was another doll in the raffle this year. There were also some other items I was interested in and I’m happy to say I also got a large unicorn paint set and a gift card to a restaurant. However, the thing I was most excited about was the American Girl doll. I was so happy to hear my name called! I named her Clementine and I’m very happy to have her in my collection!

Thanks for reading about my weekend! I hope all of you have a good week.

My 32nd birthday weekend!

Hello,my bucket list friends! On Friday I turned 32! I did a lot to celebrate and I can’t wait to tell you about it. I started my celebration by staying up so I could have a drink at midnight. It is kind of a tradition of mine. After a quick drink I went to sleep. I started off the morning like I always do by going to Starbucks. I had on a 90s Barbie party hat that I got from Poshmark. I go to that Starbucks all the time so when the employees saw my party hat they wished me a happy birthday. At work the kids were so nice. They wished me happy birthday many times during the day. They even gave me artwork as birthday gifts. I also got a card, flowers and cake from my boss and coworkers. I brought cookies to share with everyone. After work my mom picked me up and we went to Savers. As always when I go thrift shopping, I hoped I would find a cart full of treasures. However, I didn’t find that much this time. I am happy with the things I did find though. I got two Barbie dolls, four Beanie Babies a Barbie bag, a shirt and a good amount of books. After thrift shopping and a quick stop at home we went to dinner. I decided to go to a place that has arcade games. I love playing the claw game here because I usually win a prize. This time was no different I won two squishy toys. It was a pretty good birthday. The next day it was time for my birthday weekend adventure to start. My mom and I left that morning and headed to Piont Reys. We did have some stops along the way including Starbucks and Goodwill. At this Goodwill I got three things. A Melissa and Doug craft kit, a bead kit from the 90s, and a little carousel horse. Our first adventure in the Point Reys area was to check out the shipwreck in Inverness. This shipwreck is how Point Reys got its name because that was the name of the ship. It was a very interesting thing to see. I got a lot of great pictures. I’m glad I went to see it. The next stop was the Point Reyes lighthouse. This place turned out to be very crowded. The light house was cute but it was going to close soon. It’s a long way down to the lighthouse and it is pretty difficult to climb back up to the top. I was going back up as fast as I could so I could get to the visitor center before it closed. I got to the visitor center just as the looked the door. I was very disappointed. However, even though I didn’t know it yet things were about to turn around. We decided to had to Drakes beach next. I knew that they had a visitor center but they also have a store there as well. There was a sign said that their store was already closed but it turned out that it was open. The visitor closed while I was in the store but I was happy to get some souvenires and explore the beach. I  also got a map of Point Reys. I had fun exploring the beautiful beach and as a bonus it was not  crowded at all. After spending sometime at a beautiful beach my mood had completely turned around. After the beach we went to explore the cypress tree tunnel. This is a beautiful place to take pictures. At the end of the tunnel you will find a building that is home to a radio station. I really liked exploring this area. Near the building we found a fallen tree and you could see the roots. After a day full of exploring we checked in our hotel that was located in San Rafael. The next morning we met my sister for breakfast. After a very good breakfast we walked around a little bit and visited a book store. It was a pretty great birthday weekend.

My latest weekend adventures!

Hello,my bucket list friends! It’s time for another weekend blog post! This weekend I went to a local attraction that I had never been to before and went thrift shopping. I’m excited to tell you all about that and more! Before we dive into my weekend I just wanted to say that I usually start my weekend posts with what I did on Friday. However,I already covered that in another post. ( You can read about it HERE) Now, with all being said let’s get into my weekend adventures.

Saturday – My big adventure on Saturday was going to visit Hakone Gardens for the first time. This attraction is pretty close to where I live but I had never visited it before. Before we went to the garden my mom and I stopped at Starbucks for some cold drinks because it was a hot day. When we got to the gardens we parked in the large parking lot. I was both happy and surprised to see that it wasn’t very busy. We went to the gift shop to buy our tickets for the garden. I also got some souvenires. After the gift shop it was time to explore the gardens. There where many beautiful things to see in Hakone Gardens. Some of my favorites are the water fall, the Koi fish in the pond, the bamboo garden and this cute little bridge. I had a fun time taking pictures and walking around the gardens. There were some spots where there was a really good view. There was some construction going on so we didn’t get to explore all of the paths around the garden but I’m very happy with what we were able to see especially the waterfall. Waterfalls are so relaxing to watch and listen to. I also liked that there was a good amount of shade in the gardens because it was a very hot and sunny day. After enjoying the garden we went to one of my favorite Goodwill locations. I did not get a huge haul on this thrift trip but I did find some fun things that I was excited to take home with me. Goodwill gets items from Target that they didn’t sale and on this thrift shopping adventure every thing I got except for one thing came from the Target section. The one item that I got that was not from Target was a craft kit. This craft kit comes with a roll of tape that has designs on it and markers to color it with. This was an interesting craft kit and I was happy to have found it at the Goodwill. The other things that I got that were from the Target section where a wooden craft kit, an ice skating Barbie doll, and some summer themed bubbles. I’m happy with my small but awesome thrift haul. After Goodwill we went to Starbucks again for more cold drinks because it was a very hot day.

Sunday – I did some errands on Sunday. I was also having bad muscle pain on my side so I didn’t have that much fun when I was out running errands. However I still went to Starbucks and I also went to Safeway and got chocolate that had prizes inside. I’m happy to say that I’m feeling much better now and I was still able to enjoy my weekend.

One four day weekend and one regular weekend!

Hello, my bucket list friends! It looks like I’ve fallen behind on my weekend blog posts,so the best thing to do in a time like this is to combine the posts! That’s right my friends in this post I will be covering what I did this weekend plus what I did over the long 4th of July weekend. I have a lot to cover in this post so let’s get to it!

Fourth of July weekend

Friday – After work on Friday, I went thrift shopping at Savers. I had a coupon and I was excited to use it. When I went to the store I was disappointed to see that there were not many dolls there. However, I still manged to find some fun things that I was excited to welcome to my collection. My favorite item I got was this American Girl puzzle set that comes with a frame to put the puzzle in. Some of my other favorites from this thrift ship adventure include a pair of Old Navy shorts, a squishy plush owl from TY, a Disney mug from the Allstar Sports resort, and a unicorn from Build a Bear Workshop that had a cute outfit on. It was a good way to start off this long weekend. On Saturday I went to Starbucks and the Dollar Tree. At the Dollar Tree I got a set of 4th of July magnets and a pop bracelet that I’m actually wearing right now. On Saturday evening I went with my parents to see Point of Grace in concert. The concert was in a beautiful venue that was in the middle of a bunch of redwood trees. The concert was great! I’m so glad we got to go and see it. Sunday was the day before the 4th of July. I went to Starbucks of course. I also went to Safeway. At Safeway I got one of my favorite things. Candy that comes with a toy inside. On July 4th I started my celebration by doing a July 4th craft kit. My mom and I went to a local park that was having a 4th of July celebration. We road the train that they have there. We also listened to an orchestra that was performing at the park. My work was also was closed on the 5th so I had an extra day to sleep in and take it easy. I took a bath with two bath bombs and I went to vist my horse friend Dominic. It was a pretty awesome long weekend.

Normal two day weekend. – Last weekend was a pretty normal and a pretty relaxed weekend. On Friday after work I went to Target. My main goal at Target was to get bath bombs. I got four bath bombs that had prizes inside. I also got another Barbie doll for my collection. When Saturday came I didn’t have any solid plans but I did end up going to Starbucks, Yogurtland, and a local park. It had been a while since I went to Yogurtland. I was happy to go again. When we got to the park I was surprised to see that it was not very crowded. I walked with my mom and Axle ( a super cute dog) then I went to the playground to go down the slide. On Sunday I decided to use two of the bath bombs I got from Target. I also drew my summer picture that day. It was a simple but an overall enjoyable weekend.

One busy weekend!

Hello,my bucket list friends! It’s time for another weekend blog post! This weekend was pretty busy as you can see from the title. Let’s start with Friday. On Friday evening I went to the Goodwill. I needed to get a dress for a work event but of course I had to see if there was anything I wanted to add to my collection. I think someone donated a TY collection to the Goodwill because I got two Beanie Buddies and a few Beanie Babies. My other fun find was a mini paint set it’s just so cute! Oh and about the dress I mentioned earlier, I found one that I love. It still had the tags on it. I was so happy that I decided to get a dress that night. After the Goodwill I went to Panera Bread and Walgreens. At Walgreens I got a Barbie puzzle and a squishy toy. On Saturday, I went to Starbucks then I went to Barnes and Noble where I got some great books. One of the Barbie books I got came with stickers. After that we went to a baby shower for my cousin. It was great to see everyone and the decorations were so cute! The day had been pretty busy already but it was not over yet! There was a gathering going on in my neighborhood. The big highlight of that neighborhood gathering was that there were so many dogs there! I love being around dogs especially happy ones! Sunday was another busy day. I spent most of the day with my friend. We started off the day by going to church. It was my first time at this church but my friend had been there before. I really liked the church that we went to and I hope to go back again sometime. After church we went to the Goodwill,Subway and Starbucks. At the Goodwill I got a Barbie doll and an American Girl book. We ended the day by going to a Mexican restaurant. It was great to spend a day with my awesome friend. There you have it my jam-packed weekend. Thanks for reading!
