Christmas and other December adventures

Hello, my bucket list, friends! I’ve been going back and forth between writing about last month and this month. I thought I would do one more post to write about all the December things I have to write about before moving on to my things I love post, so with all that being said, let’s do this!!

Christmas Eve

This was the day that I did my all my Christmas celebrations. I had work the next day. The first part of the celebration was going to my cousin’s house. We decorated gingerbread houses and did I white elephant game. I got a Barns and Noble gift card. I also got a peppermint shaped pillow. It was good to spend time with family. At home that night, we exchanged gifts. I got a new camera , a blanket that glows in the dark, and an American Girl book.

Christmas Day – On Christmas day, I had work. I got coffee before work, and on my break, I bought a candy cane, a bead kit, a wind-up toy, and more!

Barns and Noble – On the day after Christmas, I went to Barnes and Noble to use my gift card. It tuned out that the store we went to was closing, so everything was on sale. I got a coloring book that came with stickers, a set of book marks that you can color, an American Girl book, a Ben Shapiro book, and more ! I was sad to see that the store was closing, but I was happy that I got some great deals!!

Local party store shopping fun

December 28th

I went to my favorite local party supplies store one more time before 2024 ended. I got sticker books and some very cute Christmas items. I love this store so much it has been one of my favorite places for many years.

December 18th thrift shopping and toy store

On this day I went shopping at two of my favorite local stores. At the thrift store, I got an American Girl activity book, a Build a Bear bag, some stamps, another book that I’ve already started reading, and a cute plush bear. After that I went to the toy store and I got this stationary set that I had seen before. I also got stickers , some squishy toys, a hair bow, and some Barbie Shrinky Dinks. It was a great toy store shopping trip. That day at work, I got a box of little Squishmallows.

My Christmas Eve! Blogmas day 24

Hello, my bucket list, friends, and Merry Christmas! I hope you all are having a wonderful day with your loved ones! The focus of this blog post  is going to be about what I did yesterday. I started my Christmas Eve off by going to get coffee, and then I went to church. I loved being at church on Christmas Eve! My favorite part was getting to sing Christmas songs. I really liked that Christmas Eve was on a Sunday this year. Going to church was a good reminder to focus on the true meaning of the holiday. With that being said, I’m going to pause and say happy birthday, Jesus! This time of year gets extremely busy, and it is easy to get distracted, but it is important for us all to remember why we celebrate. After church, I went home for a little bit, and then I went to Starbucks and work. At work, things were busy for a while, then they were very slow , and then they were busy again. The day was less hectic than I thought it was going to be. During one of my breaks, I bought a Disney princess color reveal toy that I had been thinking about getting for a while. It was my Christmas Eve gift to myself. I also got some great gifts from my work family. Even though I worked a full shift, it was a good Christmas Eve.

Some of the things I miss about Christmas during my childhood blogmas day 23

Hello, my bucket list, friends! Christmas is a time of year that seems to create lasting memories. AlsobIt is not a secret that things change when we get older. I wish very much that I could go back and visit my childhood. Since I can’t do that, I decided to make a list of the things I miss about that time. I hope you enjoy this list!

1. Going to be my grandparents’ house on Christmas Eve

2. circling things I wanted in toy catalogs

3. Being in Christmas plays at church

4. Christmas arts and crafts projects at school

5. Getting time off from school

6. Other fun activities at school, like building gingerbread houses and decorating cookies

7. Spending most of Christmas day playing with / enjoying my new gifts

8. Waking up early and being very excited about it

9. Getting things that I couldn’t get for myself (since you have no money when you are a kid)

10. Trying to guess what was in the wrapped presents that had my name on it

11. The pure excitement I felt

12. Dressing up in fun Christmas outfits

A classic Christmastime treat blogmas day 4

Hello, my bucket list, friends! Yesterday, I got two plastic candy candy canes filled with chocolate. These fun plastic candy canes are one of my favorite Christmastime treats. I think it would be fun to fill the candy canes with colored sand or beads to make them into decorations. I love how these treats are only a few dollars, and you get a fun plastic cane that you can keep. I don’t think that I have ever seen art done with these before, so it will be interesting to see what I can come up with.

Blogmas day 2 wooden Christmas art!

Hello, my bucket list friends! Happy 2nd day of blogmas! Today, I decided to do some art so I could blog about it. I have lots of different arts and crafts supplies, and I was not sure at first what I wanted to make. Then I found a bag of a bunch of wooden Christmas shapes. I rounded up some markers and decided to color the small wooden sign that said , ” Merry Christmas” on it. I also decided to make my sign very colorful! I kept grabbing different colors, and I really liked the way they looked together on the sign. This art project was both fun and quick to complete. I’m happy that I chose to make this art project today! I hope you are all having a wonderful start to your months!

Blogmas day one last night’s Target adventure

Hello,my bucket list friends and welcome to blogmas day one 2022! For the frist day of blogmas I thought I would share last night’s Target adventure. Without any more delay let’s get to it!

Last night my mom and I went to Target the reason being that we needed to get gifts for the giving tree program that my dad’s work is doing. We had two gifts to buy for that. Of course that is not all I bought though. At this target the dollar section is right by the doors that we entered in. Of course I had to grab a some things from that area. I ended up getting a Christmas tree craft kit and a set of two deer decorations. I’m happy to say I also managed to cross off an item from my seasonal bucket list that I just posted yesterday. ( You can read it HERE) I bought a Christmas themed Barbie while I was at target. In addition to all of those things I also got a pack of Chapstick and a super cute snail Christmas tree ornament. I’m happy to say that I found to really great gifts for the giving tree. It was a successful Target trip. Oh I almost forgot to say that and before we went to Target we went to Starbucks! I made it just a few minutes before they closed. Target and Starbucks are two things that go really well together in my opinion. Thanks for reading my first Blogmas post of 2022!
