Hello, my bucket list friends ! As you can tell by the the title of this post I crossed off my first bucket list item of 2020 ! It was pretty easy to cross off but I’m still very excited to tell you all about it. Here we go !

bucket list #227 Get a reversible sequin shirt

I love the reversible sequin trend ! I have seen this trend on pillows ,back packs and clothes . I really wanted to join in but most of the clothes that followed this trend were made for kids. I put it on my bucket list because I figured there just had to be a reversible sequin shirt in adult sizes somewhere. I turned to Amazon I figured it would be the best place to find what I was looking for. I found a few different styles to chose from. I ended up going with a pink shirt that had two cats on it. The cats are covered in sequins. ans they change colors when you move the sequins . I really like this shirt and I’m happy that I got it!  Rock on – Christina Epperly

Bucket list #164 Take a Disneyland tour

Hello, my bucket list friends while I was in Disneyland I crossed another item off my list . I talked a little bit about it in my previous post about my vacation (you can read that HERE) but I wanted to do a more in-depth post about this bucket list item so let’s get to it!

Bucket list #164 Take a Disneyland tour

Disneyland tours are popular so it’s best to book as soon as possible. If I’m remembering correctly you can book thirty days before the date of your tour. I called to book my tour about a month in advance and I was super excited that I was able to get three spots for the day I wanted. Our tour started around 3:30 PM but we were told to get there an half an hour early to check in. Once we checked in we were given very cute pins with our names on them and listening devices so we could hear the tour guide clearly. After that we met our tour guide and the tour began. We started our tour in Disneyland but we parked hopped over to Disney California Adventure during the tour. While we were in California Adventure we all got fudge at trolley treats. Through out the tour we were entertained with various facts and stories about holiday time at the Disneyland resort. We were also able to listen to music and audio clips through our audio devices. Sometimes the audio devices were a little hard to hear but overall I enjoyed using them during the tour. As part of our tour we got to go on the Small World holiday ride. We had been on it earlier in the day but I was so happy that we got to go again. After our ride we went over to our seats for the Christmas parade that had been reserved for our tour group. Disney puts on some really awesome parades and this one was no exception! The parade was a lot of fun to watch ! I loved the dancing snowmen they were so cute ! While we were sitting for the parade we were given hot chocolate in Disney souvenir mugs ,gingerbread cookies and another pin. The tour guide did a good job of keeping the group together as we walked though the crowds.  I enjoyed this tour and I would like to take another one again sometime.   Rock On – Christina Epperly

Bucket list # 218 get acupuncture

Hello, my bucket list friends ! I crossed another item off my bucket list and I can’t wait to tell you about it so here we go !

Bucket list # 218 get acupuncture

Sometimes I talk to other people about the items on my list and when I mentioned this item it turned out I was not the only one who wanted to give acupuncture a try. For this bucket list adventure I was joined by my sister and my cousin. We started off the day with an awesome breakfast at Black Bear diner. After that we went to a mall for a bit then it was time for our acupuncture appointments.  Since there was only one doctor working at the health center that day ,our appointments were all a half hour apart.  When it was my turn I walked from the waiting room to an area that was just behind the wall that separated the waiting room from the treatment rooms. I sat down at a table across from the doctor and I told her about my shoulder pain ,after asking me some questions about my medical history and taking my vital signs it was time to go to one of the treatment rooms and begin my acupuncture experience. The health center we were at also does massage so it was no surprise that that treatment room looked just like a room at a massage clinic. When it came time to put the needles in I was nervous .I knew the doctor could tell I was nervous because she told me to relax. I did my best to relax my muscles and before I knew it the needles started going into my shoulders and the surrounding area some of the needles I barley felt as they went in some of them pinched a little bit when they went in. After just a little while all the needles were in. The doctor left the room and told me she would be back in 30 mins. As I laid there in the room I felt very relaxed I was close to falling a sleep at certain points. It was more relaxing then I thought it would be. Before I knew it the doctor was back to remove the needles. After the treatment my shoulder felt better. I enjoyed this experience and I hope to do acupuncture on my knee sometime.

Hello, my bucket list friends! I’m so excited to tell you about this super fun list item that I crossed off ! So, here we go!

#107. Win first place in a contest or event

To fully tell this story I have to take you back to last month. I was on Instagram and I saw a post from Yogurt Land advertising a contest ! To enter the contest you had to create a fun Yogurt Land creation take a picture of it and put it on Instagram using the hashtag they provided plus tag them in the photo. The prize for the winner was a $100.00 Yogurt Land gift card! I really wanted to enter this contest because I love making fun frozen yogurt creations. Later that week I made my way to Yogurt Land and took a picture of the Yogurt Land mountain that I made . I followed the instructions to enter the contest and then I waited. Then early this this month I received a message from Yogurt Land saying that I had won the contest! I was so excited !! Yesterday I finally got around to using my gift card for the first time ! I’m so happy I won the contest! Here’s to more yogurt land creations!

Hello, my bucket list friends ! I’m so happy that I crossed another item off my list! I went shopping every day for a week! I’m so excited to tell you all about it so here we go!

bucket list #190- Go shopping everyday for a week

I’ve all ready written about the first two days of my shopping spree. ( You can read about them HERE)

Day 3 CVS

Right next to the pet food store where I work there is a CVS. I went over there on my break and I knew exactly what I wanted to get. I saw some awesome Disney emoji stickers when I was there a previous time. I got the stickers and some snacks too and just like my third shopping day was complete.

Day 4 Safeway

On the other side of the pet food store there is a Safeway. I went over there on my break and got some snacks and a fun animal magazine. I just love the cover on the magazine!

Day 5 Salvation Army

On day five I was over at my other job where I work as a massage therapist. Once I was done for the day I walked down to the Salvation Army store and I bought two fun items. The first item I found was a large plush Twilight Sparkle from My Little pony and the second item was a mug from Aulani Disney’s resort in Hawaii. I’m very happy with day five’s thrift store finds !

Day 6 Recycle Books

For day six my friend and I went to a used book store ! I had been there before and I had gotten some My Little pony books . I was hoping to find some more cool books and I did! I got a my Little pony book and a American Girl book ! I haven’t gotten around to reading them yet but I hope I can soon.

Bucket list #212 finish a 10k

Hello,my bucket list friends ! As you can tell from the title of this post I just crossed another item off my bucket list and I’m very excited to tell all of you about it ! Here we go!

Bucket list #212 finish a 10k

I’ve done many 5k races and even the Disneyland half marathon ( You can read about it HERE)  but I had never done a 10k until yesterday. When I decided to do a 10k this year I looked for a race that was close in driving distance, gave out medals at the end and was held on day that I had off. After a little bit of looking I found a race that fit all of my requirements, the SV 10k . The day before the race my mom and I went and picked up our race numbers. I had done a race in the same area before and it started near the park where we picked up our numbers so I thought that’s where this race was going to begin well I was wrong. It was ending at the park I was so confused when we got there but we just followed everyone else and made it to the start on time. Our plan was to walk most of the way and that’s what we did but we also did some short jogging bursts and that helped to improve our time . We were thinking that it would take us around two hours but because of our little jogging bursts we finished in one hour and forty three minutes ! The race  course was pretty awesome we went past some pretty gardens and there were dogs and the beginning of the race !  I was so happy to cross off another item off my list  and I love the medal that they gave out at the end !  It was a fun morning and I’m so glad I got to participate in it !
