Fun with arts and crafts kits

Hello, my bucket list friends, I love being creative and making fun works of art ! I often buy arts and crafts kits and then use them in my down time. I’ve been having fun with the craft kits and art supplies that I have on my art shelf. I can’t wait to tell you all about it. Here we go.

Fun with arts and crafts

Sand art necklace kit – I got this fun and simple kit at the Dollar Tree . It came with a small plastic heart that had a loop on the cap to make a necklace. It also came with brightly colored sand and a tool to move the sand around but did not include any string for a necklace. I had a fun time pouring the sand into the heart and watching the bright colors make fun patterns. I’m happy with the way this project turned out.

Bracelets

Now, it’s time for one of my all-time favorite art projects. Pipe cleaner bracelets! I also got the supplies for this craft at the Dollar Tree. All I needed for this craft were some pipe cleaners and beads the Dollar Tree had both colorful pipe cleaners and colorful beads . I had a good time putting the beads onto the pipe cleaners. I loved the way the bracelets looked when I put them on. This is a fun and easy craft I recommend it !

Valentine’s day painting

And here is another Dollar Tree craft kit! This Valentine’s day themed paint kit had two cute little teddy bears holding hands. As normal with these craft kits the paint was not very high quality but it was a lot of fun to paint the very cute bears. When the painting dried it was a little hard to see parts of the original picture underneath. If I used water color paint it may have turned out better. I think I’ll do that next time!

Summertime Arts and Crafts !

Hello, my bucket list friends ! The sunny days of summertime are a perfect time to get creative! I have three projects that I recently finished and I can’t wait to tell you all about them. Here we go!

Summertime Arts and Crafts !

The first summertime craft I’m gonna tell you about is this awesome Disney necklace kit that I bought at CVS. This small kit contained everything needed to make the perfect Disney necklace. The necklace it’s self was easy to get started. I just opened the necklace by pulling the connectors apart then putting on the beads. I decided to put the beads in big color blocks. Then when I was done with that, it was time to put on the super cute Minnie Mouse charm and then this awesome craft was complete!

Craft number two was a set of wooden animals that I bought at the Goodwill. The idea of this craft kit was to put the animals together and then glue extra pieces on to some of the animals. I decided to put a few of the animals together then I painted them with water color paint. I didn’t follow the directions on this kit exactly but I’m happy with how I chose to make the animals. I didn’t make all the animals in the kit but the ones I did make are so cute and I’m happy with the way they turned out.

The last craft I’m going to tell you about was not a craft kit at all. I saved the Starbucks cup from the s’mores frappuccino that I got on June first. I decorated the cup with all kinds of fun stickers! I had a fun time going through my big box of stickers and choosing the perfect ones to decorate the cup with. Now, it’s the perfect pencil holder!

Three fun craft kits !

Hello,my bucket list friends ! As many of you know I love being creative. Sometimes when I go shopping I like to buy fun arts and crafts kits. I have a quite a few of these stocked up. I’m really glad that I have all those kits because when I get into a creative mood I don’t have to look hard for something to do. Now without further delay. Let me tell you about three of these kits I recently completed.

Three fun craft kits !

I was in a creative mood so I chose three craft kits from my shelf to do. The first on was a foam sticker seen. This kit did not include any instructions just a picture to follow. I put the stickers all together to make a very cute and fun picture. I didn’t follow the picture exactly I just let my creativity flow in some places and I was very happy with the results. The 2nd kit I completed was a simple painting project.  I painted a cute duck it didn’t take long to complete and I was happy with how it turned out. The 3rd one was a Lisa Frank poster that you colored with markers. I found this one a little difficult to complete because the colors didn’t stick to the poster very well and the glitter on the poster made it hard to color. I waited till the next day to finish it .Even with those problems it turned out cute and I was happy with it but I probably won’t get another glitter poster kit again. So, there you have it three more fun projects completed. I’ll be sure to write another post when I do more projects ! Rock On – Christina Epperly
