An art kit, thrift shopping, break time shopping, and more

Hello, my bucket list friends! I thought it would be fun to do a post about some of the things I’ve been up to lately. I don’t need to do a long introduction for this so, Let’s get to it!

My latest art kit fun – I got this simple painting art kit at work, and I had a lot of fun doing it. I painted a space man and a rocket. My favorite part was painting a smiley face on the spaceman.

Some of my break time shopping, including Christmas items!- I’ve done a lot of breaktime shopping lately. On Saturday, I got this really cool sensory bucket that has a bunch of fun toys and slime inside. I also got a Paw Patrol activity set. As for Christmas themed items on Friday, I got some really fun Christmas themed hair accessories, including bows!

My latest thrift shopping trip – Also, on Saturday, I went to my favorite local thrift store. I got there close to closing time, so I didn’t have a lot of time to shop, but I did get some fun items.  I got some short books to help me cross off a bucket list item I’m working on. I also got a mini brands game, stickers, a headband , two Pez dispensers, and more!

I have a new favorite Chinese restaurant – yesterday, after church, my parents and I went to a Chinese restaurant that we had not been to before and it was really good! It is now my local favorite Chinese food restaurant!

Christmas Starbucks drinks – It is that time of year, and I love peppermint mochas and the other fun drinks Starbucks has right now!

Things I love October 2023

Hello, my bucket list friends! well, we just said goodbye to another month and I’m pretty sure that before we know it we will be saying Goodbye to 2023. However it is time to look back on the things I loved in October 2023!

Getting another American Girl doll – I got an American Girl that I had been wanting at my favorite local thrift store. ( You can read about it HERE )

Crossing another item off of my bucket list – I haven’t crossed that many items off my list this year but I’m happy to say I crossed one of this month by taking a typing test. ( You can read about it HERE )

Buying Christmas items in stores – I love Christmas time and Christmas themed items and I’m happy to say that I got a few Christmas items this month. ( You can read about it HERE and HERE )

Monterey and more

Hello, my bucket list, friends! On Saturday I went to Monterey. I walked on the beach and ate pasta on the Wharf. However, my favorite thing that I did was revisit the antique mall that I had been to once before. This place is full of fun things to look at, especially toys! There were so many hot wheels cars. I chose this fun yellow one, and I also saw lots of Barbie items. I ended up buying some Barbie gift tags, party invitations, and clothes. I also got two packs of Star Trek trading cards. It was a beautiful day there. Another fun thing I did was that I got a pressed penny on the Wharf. It was a fun day!

The other things I  feel like writing about ! I knew that I wanted to talk about Monterey in this post, but I also have a few other things on my mind, so I decided to add some random things to this post as well. Here we go!

I got some Kinder Joy Christmas eggs – I was so happy when I saw them while I was at Safeway. I wonder what toys I will get when I open them.

I’ve been in a bit of a slump lately . Sometimes, I get depression that sticks around for longer than just a day. I don’t like it when that happens, but it happens, and it’s been happening to me lately. I’ve also been more stressed than normal. The two probably have something to do with each other, but it’s hard to say which one came first. Also, I just found that I have three cavities in one tooth, so that is not helpful. However, I know that the best thing to do is to pray and keep moving forward, so that’s what I’m doing!

Snackles toy review

Hello, my bucket list, friends! It is time for another product review. I had never heard of Snackles before until I saw them at my work. I thought it was interesting that each plush animal comes with a different brand of snack. I love the two plushies that I got. One is an elephant, and the other one is an axolotl. I love how they are both holding their snacks! They also come with a little book. I really like Snackles, and I want to get another one soon! If you’re looking for something fun to collect, Snackles should be something you consider! Oh, and the plushies are super soft!

Crossing off bucket list number 295 take a typing test!

Hello, my bucket list friends! I finally crossed off another list item and I’m planning to cross off more list items before the year ends! I want to focus on my list more than I have been. This list item was surprisingly fun to cross off. In order to cross it off I did a simple google search for a typing test. I found this awesome website called typing.com It was easy to start taking the tests and to earn certificates. It took me a little while to get a score that I wanted to print. The test was more challenging than I thought it would be but I got really into it I want to continue taking these tests and see how much I can improve. I printed out a certificate that had my best score on it. I want to continue with improving my score but as for now I’m happy that crossed another item off of my list.

More friend time on a Friday, Whole Foods and break time shopping on a Saturday

Hello, my bucket list, friends! I’m very excited to say that I got to see my friend again on Friday! We went to eat at one of our favorite places, Veggie Grill. It was good as always, but really, it was really good just to hang out with my friend again. Life is always so busy, and it is good to take a break and spend time with some of your favorite people. We also went to Target , Michaels and Old Navy. I did not get anything at Old Navy, but there were some very cute items as always. At Target, I got a Christmas Craft kit. I was so happy to see that they had the craft kits out already. I hope to go back and get the wooden nativity set that you can paint. At Michaels, I got some beads and other items, including Christmas themed stickers. It was a really great day, and I hope to keep up the trend of seeing my friend often. The next day, I worked the closing shift at work. Before work, I went to Whole Foods. It had been a while since I had been to Whole Foods, so I was very happy to go there. I got some soup for lunch and some other items, including the fruit snacks that come with trading cards and a duck shaped bath sponge. On one of my breaks at work I went shopping and I got a Hot Wheels car, mechanical pencils and eraser toppers. It was a pretty great two days.

My review of Barbie Pop reveal!

Hello, my bucket list, friends! It is time for another product review! Not too long ago, I bought a Barbie pop reveal doll. However, I didn’t open her until today. This doll is different from the color reveal dolls in a few ways. The first way is that you know which doll you are going to get. I like that because it makes collecting the whole set much easier, and more importantly, you won’t get any doubles unless you want them. Also, the container that the doll comes in is not a plastic tube it is a big plastic cup decorated with fruit and the Barbie logo. The doll is unique in the way her knees and ankles bend. However, she can’t be put into a sitting position in the way that many other dolls can. This doll comes with a few fun accessories, including a little pet. Slime is also included, but I did not open it. Overall, I’m really happy with this new series of reveal dolls, and I hope that there will be more like it.

Walmart Christmas items and clearance plus breaktime shopping

Hello, my bucket list, friends! Last Saturday I went to Walmart before work. Our main reason for going there was to get some pumpkins, so we started our Walmart trip by getting pumpkins out of the large carboard boxes at the front. After picking out pumpkins, I went to the clearance isle, and I was excited to see that there were a bunch of beads at a really good price. I also got some Christmas ornaments. I was so happy to see that they had Christmas stuff out already. Some of my other finds included Play-Doh and bath bombs with prizes inside. Later on at work I went shopping on my break. I got some Barbie tooth brushes that I had been looking at for a while. I also got another Play-Doh kitchen set along with a push-ups pop shaped like an elephant that comes with three lollypops. It was a fun day of shopping!

Friend time and another American Girl doll

Hello, my bucket list, friends! Last Friday was a really great day. I finally got to spend some time with my amazing friend. It had been over a month since I last saw her. We both ended up having the same day off, and that is a very rare thing for us. The first thing we did was go to Starbucks. After that, we went to my favorite local thrift store. I had been there the week before, and I saw that they had the American Girl doll Courtney. She is one of my favorites but I decided not to spend the 50.00 to get her. However, when I saw that she was still available, I felt like I had to get her, so I did. I was so happy to have her as a part of my collection! I also got some other things at the thrift store, including a container full of plastic toys, two Barbie fast food toys , a big book about animals ,and a bag of doll clothes. After thrift shopping, we went to lunch, went on a walk, and then we ended the day with frozen yogurt. It was a really great day!

A Trip to Target on my day off

Hello, my bucket list, friends! On Wednesday I had the day off I decided that my big event of the day would be going to Target. When I got to Target, my first goal was to get a Barbie pop reveal doll. When I looked online, I saw that there were not many in stock. When I got to the Barbie isle, I was happy to see that they had the one that I wanted. I also was happy that there were Barbie pets that had two pets in each package. I got two packages. I looked around the toy section to see if there was anything else that I wanted. I got a container of kinetic sand that comes with an animal toy. I went to the dollar section, but I didn’t see anything that I wanted. In the area where they have the trading cards, I got a ball that has three surprise squishy toys inside. In the art isle, I got a pack of scented Crayola colored pencils. I also got food as well, and that was my trip to Target!
