Candy, coffee, and toys

Hello, my bucket list friends and Happy Thanksgiving! This year I’m spending thanksgiving with someone I love a lot! My cat Cooper! Cooper loves that I’m home because it has been cold lately and when it is cold cats love to cuddle! Anyways I wanted to talk about some of my highlights this week. So let’s get to it!

Tuesday – I had work on Tuesday after having Sunday and Monday off. One thing I really like about my new work is that the location is close to plenty of places that I can walk to. One of my favorite places that is close to my work is a candy store. Another one of my favorite near by places is a coffee shop that is near the candy store. On Tuesday I had time to go to both of these places before I had to be at work.  After I went to the coffee shop I went to the candy store where I got a mineral water. I love that the candy store has Liquid Death brand mineral water. I also got a snowman Pez dispenser. After that I went to work and then back home. I love that I can do some fun things before work now.

Wednesday – Once again I had some time before work to do have some fun. Before I got my coffee I went to the toy store. Yes, there is a toy store and a candy with in walking distance from my work now. When I went to the toy store I was not sure what I would end up getting but I knew I wanted to get another play foam pals. Play foam pals are a container of play foam with a toy animal hidden inside. I decided to get green play foam this time. I also bought two other items at the toy store. One was a candy cane shaped pop toy the other is a Christmas sticker book. I’m in a Christmastime mood and I can not seem to stop buying Christmas themed items. After the toy store came a visit to the coffee shop. After that the day was just like the day before. A good day at work then time to go home. However going home happened a little earlier on this day because the store I worked at closed early due to thanksgiving.

Thanks for reading about some of my before work fun!

My fun shopping adventure at Five Below

Hello,my bucket list friends! On Wednesday I had the day off and I was excited because there is now a Five Below store in a city that is near me. I love going to five Below but I have only been when I have been traveling. If you have not heard of Five Below let me tell you a little bit about it. Five Below is a discount store like Dollar Tree but there prices are typically five dollars and lower. However they also have some higher priced items. I was excited all day for my evening trip to Five Below. Before we went to Five Below we stopped at Starbucks. When we arrived at five below we were greeted by an employee. I was very excited to get my shopping trip started. I saw that they had Christmas items displayed in the front area of the store. I started my shopping by adding a pair of slipper socks to my basket. I loved that they had a candy cane pattern on them because I love candy canes! In the Toy section I was so happy to see that they had Breyer horses! I got one of thoes of course. Also in the Toy section I got a plastic lollipop that has squishy toys inside of it. Back in the Christmas section I got a 12 days of socks advent calendar. In the technology section I got a water resistant speaker that was priced a little over $5. My adventure continued when I found Kinder Joy Christmas eggs. I’m excited to see what kind of Christmas themed toys I got. I’m very happy to say that my Five Below haul also included a wooden animal craft kit. In addition to all of those great items I alao got some Sour Patch Kids popcorn! I haven’t tried it yet but I’m looking forward to it. When I try it I will post a review on my blog! Shopping at Five Below was a prefect activity to do on my day off!

My wonderful Wednesday!

Hello, my bucket list friends! Yesterday was so much fun so I decided my memories of it needed its own blog post! The first fun thing I did yesterday was a craft kit. It was a simple coloring craft kit where I colored a wooden magnet shaped like a dog. I made a video of me coloring it. (You can find the video on my Instagram Page my username is summerrockstar ) My big highlight of the day was getting to see my amazing friend. I’m so blessed that we have been able to see each other a fair amount lately. When my friend picked me up our first stop of our day was Panera Bread. We both really like the food there. I had tomato soup there yesterday and I highly recommend it! After lunch we went to a local thrift store. I thought that they had closed for the day already but it turned out they were still open. I’m so glad we went to the thrift store because I got some really cool items for my collection. The items I got were a folder that had four photos from the Lion King inside, two Barbie books, a Barbie doll, a Barbie backpack and a quiz book. It was a good day for Barbie items at the thrift store yesterday!  After thrift shopping we decided to go get our nails done. We were able to walk right in with no wait. We both really enjoyed getting to relax. I loved the massage chairs that they had. I picked this beautiful green color for my nails called watermelon. I also got my eyebrows and upper lip waxed for the first time and I have to say I’m really happy with the way it looks. When all that was done there was one thing left to do. We went to Starbucks for iced coffee. It was on the warmer side yesterday so iced coffee was the perfect choice for yesterday’s weather even though it is October! Yesterday was truly a beautiful day.

A Tuesday evening at the beach

Hello,my bucket list friends! I live pretty close to the beach but I don’t go very often.  However for the second time this summer I made it to the beach. After work on Tuesday my mom and I went to the beach and we brought Axle (a very cute dog ) with us. We went to the same beach that we went to last time. This time when we arrived there were a few parking places to choose from. I went to the store first because I was pretty hungry after work. This time we decided to walk on the beach in the other direction then we had last time. I enjoyed walking on the beach and putting my feet in the water. This part of the beach had a lot of rocks that made it hard to walk close to the water. However, it was fun to look at the rocks and shells on the beach. I also had a fun time taking pictures. I love taking selfies but there is something especially fun about taking selfies at the beach. The weather was comfortable and Axle had a great time as always. He was very happy that I got some cheese at the store. After walking on the rocky part of the beach we went back and walked the other way for a little while. Going to the beach was a great way to wrap up a weekday. Thanks for reading!
