A few hours in Las Vegas

Hello, my bucket list, friends! Last summer I went to Las Vegas for the first time and I fell in love with the city. On the way back from Idaho, we stopped in Las Vegas for a few hours, and while it was very short, it was amazing. I can’t wait to tell you more about it, so let’s get to it.

August 13th – This was the day that we came back home from Idaho. I was excited because we got to spend a few hours in Las Vegas, but I really wanted to stay the night there. I love Las Vegas, and I was praying so hard that our flight would be canceled so we could have more time in the city that I fell in love with the year before. However, we did have enough time to go to the Shark Reef Aquarium. I had been wanting to visit this aquarium for a while, and I was very excited to have the chance to go. I really enjoyed the aquarium. There was so much to see here, including a giant lizard! There was also a touch tank. After exploring the aquarium, we ended up getting some much needed massages. It was great to get to relax for a bit. I was still praying that our flight would get canceled. Even when went back to the airport. At the airport, I did get some Las Vegas souvenirs. I also got some souvenirs at the aquarium . Our flight did get delayed, but it did not get canceled. I was said when I got on the airplane to go home, I was sad. However, I’m very thankful that I got the chance to go to Las Vegas again and that I got to go to the Shark Reef Aquarium.

An evening at an amusement park

Hello, my bucket list, friends! I wanted to do a quick post about my visit to a local amusement in July . Every post helps me get a little closer to catching up with my blog. Let’s get to it!

July 22nd – On this day, I went to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. My goal was to cross off ride five rides at an amusement park from my summer bucket list. We went in the evening so we could get on rides at a discounted price. The Boardwalk was more crowded than I had anticipated, so it was more challenging to get on five rides than I thought it would be. However ,I was able to do exactly five rides. Those rides were the carousel , the sea swings, space race, tsunami, and sky glider. I also got some souvenirs, including a super cute plush bear, and I also got pizza! I’m going to be honest the long lines made it kind of difficult to fully enjoy the night, but it was overall a good summer night. This is a really great amusement park that I highly recommend going to, but make sure to visit during a less busy time so you can get to experience all the rides here that you want to.

4th of July fun 2024

Hello, my bucket list, friends! As I continue on my journey to catch up with my blog posts, I’m excited to say that I’ve gotten through the long vacation posts and the other posts I have left to write should not take much time. However, I still have lots of fun summer adventures to share with you. With all that being said, let’s get to a fun post about the 4th of July!

July 4th – I love the fourth of July! It is such a fun holiday! It is all about celebrating the great country that I’m very blessed to have been born in. To celebrate the fourth of July, my parents and I went to an event  that included a concert and fireworks! The opening act at the concert was a very talented singer named Levi Hummon. I had so much fun dancing to his songs! I recommend checking him out! After he was done with his part of the concert. I got to meet him! He was such a nice guy, and I got a picture of us together! Later on in the night, there was an amazing fireworks show! I love the fireworks show that this venue puts on every year! It is always amazing, and I really enjoyed watching it this year. It was a wonderful summer night! I hope all my fellow Americans had a great time celebrating this holiday as well!

My great Tennessee adventure part 1

Hello, my bucket list, friends! I’m excited to write this post about my 2nd vacation of the summer! I had a great time exploring the beautiful state of Tennessee, and I can’t wait to tell you more about it, so here we go!

June 25th

This was the day that my 2nd vacation of the summer began. It was a day where we went on two flights and then we landed in Nashville. We did not do much on the first night, of course, but I did get some fun souvenirs because we made a stop at a store before going to our hotel. Oh, we got a really cool rental car it was a BMW, and it was fun to ride around in that during our vacation, and I kind of miss it! Well, that is it for day one. Now, on to day two.

June 26th

This was the first full day of this vacation, and we had a few activities planned. In the morning we went on a bus tour of Nashville. Our tour stopped at this really neat place that had stores and other businesses. I had fun doing a free moonshine tasting and going shopping, of course. I got a cute book called Hello, Nashville. I pick up books from this series when I see them. I really enjoyed this tour. Our next adventure was going to the Tennessee State Museum. This free museum is full of many interesting things that have to do with the state of Tennessee. I recommend visiting this museum if you happen to be close to it. After that, we got some food before going to our second tour of the day. Our second tour of the day was the Grand Ole Opry. This was an exciting tour that was full of music history. I find it exciting to be in a place that you have seen on TV . My favorite part of the tour was getting to see all the dressing rooms backstage. That night, we went out to two different bars in Nashville. We also went to a souvenir store and a candy store. I love going shopping at souvenir stores, and Nashville has some really good ones. It was a great vacation day!

June 27th

This was the day that we left Nashville and visited three fun attractions. Those attractions were Rock City , the Incline Railway , and Ruby Falls. Rock City is a very interesting attraction that has great views and lots of fun art based on fairy tales. The incline railway is an attraction that I really recommend visiting if you get the chance to. I never knew that a train could go on a track that were steep. When the train gets to the top, you are rewarded with beautiful views and a gift shop. The ride back down is pretty amazing as well. Our third attraction of the day was the beautiful Ruby Falls. Before going on our tour we got some lunch at the cafeteria. The flatbread that I had there was really good. Going down to the caves was exciting, and the falls were truly beautiful. I also highly recommend this beautiful and thrilling attraction. This was a day that was full of adventure.

June 28th

On this day, we did one of my favorite things to do while traveling, we went to the zoo. We went to the Chattanooga Zoo. This zoo is on the small side, but don’t let that stop you from exploring it. I got to see some very cute and interesting animals, including a red panda, a snake neck turtle, meerkats, and a tortoise. I got to feed a giraffe, that was a lot of fun. I also got to ride the beautiful carousel here twice. I loved that the horse I rode on had a purple ribbon on it. Our second adventure of the day was going to the Lost Sea adventure. This attraction is where you get to visit an underground lake. It was truly amazing to get to ride on a boat underground. I recommend visiting this exciting attraction if you get the chance to.

Thank you for reading this part of my Tennessee adventure.

My summer mall weekend 2024

Hello, my bucket list, friends! I’m still pretty far from being caught up with my blogging, but I’m excited to write this post! I’m not sure of the year that this tradition began, but every summer, I do what I call a mall weekend. On Friday I go shopping at the Dollar Tree and on Saturday I go shopping at the mall. I had a great time this year, and I’m excited to tell you more about it, so here we go!

June 21st

This was the day I went to the Dollar Tree. My friend joined me for my mall weekend this year. I went to my favorite local Dollar Tree store. I like this location because it is a good size and it is always clean. I got some fun items, including Ty Plush Key chains, sand toys, stickers, a Barbie workbook, puppy in my pocket toys, home decor, and pens. This location has a good selection of items. I love the cross decoration that I got. Some other items I got on my Dollar tree shopping spree were a box of crayons, a pack of paper fans, a pack of frog party favors, and a note book with a Bible verse on the cover. It was a fun and successful start to mall weekend!

June 22nd

Today was the big day! It was officially my mall day! When I got to the mall I went to Claires. I got some hair bows and other cute items! I went to many different stores during my mall shopping spree, including Old Navy and Hallmark. I also went to the Target that is attached to the mall. I got so many fun items from various stores. Some of the items I got were stickers, including barbie stickers, a Barbie mug, hair bows, a sand art kit, cups shaped like pineapples, and more! I also made a new plush bear at Build a Bear Workshop. I love going to Build a Bear Workshop on my mall weekends! I was so happy that I saw the bright and colorful bear that I wanted to make. I named my bear tropical sunshine. She is an awesome addition to my collection. Another thing I did was to go to the Taco Bell at the food court. As you can tell, I had a really good mall weekend, and I got a lot of items and I also had fun taking pictures in the photobooth!

My wonderful Missouri vacation part 2

Hello, my bucket list, friends! I was very busy in the month of June. I went on two great vacations and even more! I hope to get caught up soon, but for now, here is the second part of my Missouri vacation.

June 11th, 2024 – On this day of vacation, our first activity was taking a ride on the Branson scenic railway. The train had a great gift shop where I got some things including a cute plush squirrel before getting on the train. The train had a few different kinds of seats throughout the cars, and we ended up sitting in some pretty comfortable chairs that had a table in the middle. Just like the name suggests, the ride is a beautiful one. I was happy to be by a window for this ride. You could also buy snacks and drinks on the train we did that too. After a fun train ride, our next adventure was going to an attraction called Beyond the Lenses. This place is hard to explain but it is like a combination of a selfie museum , a regular museum, and an arcade. Before even making it to the main part of the attraction, I played a claw machine, and I won some rubber ducks! There are lots of fun photo opportunities here. My favorite one was the Barbie box. It was fun to pretend to be one of my favorite toys. They also have a really cool ball pit here that was great for taking pictures. They also have a fly ride here it is like a flying simulator. We did the ride and enjoyed it. That night, we went to a very popular show in Branson called the Haygood’s. The Haygood’s are a group of very talented siblings. we all enjoyed this show.

June 12th

We started this day with a tour from the Pink Jeep company. This was a very fun tour that included a few stops. I know that this company has tours in other places as well. I would recommend giving this company a try when looking for a fun tour. I bought a pink rubber duck at the tour store. After the tour, our next activity was going to the Promised Land Zoo. This is a great zoo. There is a drive-through and a walk through section. That allows you to feed a good amount of the animals here. We paid extra to get to pet and hold some of the animals. The baby kangaroo was my favorite. but I also loved holding the snake. I also got to go shopping at a big souvenir store and of course I got some great items there. Branson is a very touristy place so there are lots of fun stores to shop at. We also went to Cold Stone and got ice cream before we headed to our next hotel that was located in Lake of the Ozarks. That night we went to a Walmart where I got a lake of the Ozarks cup. It was a great day.

Since my birthday is this month I was also a part of the celebration. It was a pretty fun adventure, and I can not wait to tell you more about it, so here we go!

August 9th – This was the day my mom and I flew to Idaho. When we got there we went to lunch with my grandparents. There was also another trip to Walmart that night where I got some of my favorite juice that comes with toys.

August 12th – This day was a really fun one. This was the day we celebrated three family birthdays, including mine. I started the day by getting Starbucks and then going shopping at the Dollar Tree. At the dollar tree, we got some balloons for the birthday party we were having. I also got some stickers, two art kits, a set of two hair accessories, a set of four water balls, and more! To celebrate our birthdays we went to a restaurant for some very good food and they also sang happy birthday to us. I also got some ice cream there. After lunch, some of us went to pick up some desserts to take to my grandparents’ house. I chose a colorful cake that a plastic balloon decoration on it. The night I went on a walk with my mom and my sister. It was a great way to end this wonderful day.

August 13th – On this day, I went with my mom and sister on a day trip. We drove for a while before stopping at a convenience store. Then we went to Kirkham Hot Springs. I liked that the boat was sparkly. After the lake we went to a restaurant before going back to my grandparents’ house.

August 15th – This was that day we went back home. Our flight was not till afternoon so we had time to go to breakfast. We also got to the airport early so I had time to play in the arcade where I won some prizes from the claw machine. I also got two Idaho souvenirs from a store at the airport.

Oxnard road trip 2023

Hello, my bucket list friends in this blog post. I will talk about a fun road trip I took at the end of July. I didn’t cross off any bucket list items, but I did have a pretty good time, and I can not wait to tell you more, so let’s get to it.

July 28 – This was the day that our road trip began. The main goal of this road trip was to go to the Dallas Cowboys training camp in Oxnard. On the way to Oxnard, we stopped at a small but amazing zoo. While we were driving, we saw a sign for the Charles Paddock zoo, so we decided to check it out. One of my favorite things that I saw here was the flamingos, including a baby flamingo. I also really enjoyed seeing the tortoises and the tiger. I also went to the gift shop and I got some fun souvenirs. After we made it to the hotel we went swimming it was a pretty great day.

July 29- This was the opening day of the Dallas Cowboys training camp, and it was packed full of fans. It took a long time to park, and then it took a very long time to get into the event. I did enjoy the event, though it is always exciting to see people that you usually see on a screen in person. I also got a really good ice cream cone here. After taring camp we had lunch at Whole Foods. I love the Whole Foods hot bar. After lunch, we went to a Goodwill store. I did not get much here, but I did get a few things, including stickers and two Barbie nail files. At the hotel I went swimming again. I love being able to go swimming when I stay at hotels.

July 30- On this day we had plans to go parasailing but it candled due to weather. I was disappointed, but we decided to go on a trolley tour in Santa Barbra instead. We did a trolly tour and had fun exploring the city. I loved the dolphin fountain! There is a lot to see here, and I would love to come back sometime. Before going back to Oxnard, we ate at a really good Mexican restaurant. I also went swimming again!

July 31 – This was the day we went back home. We made a few stops on the way home, including a stop at another Mexican restaurant. I’m a big fan of veggie burritos! However, as I came back home, I had no idea that a major challenge would be coming my way. In my next blog post, I will tell you all about it.

My fabulous Las Vegas vacation part 2

Hello, my bucket list, friends! I’m excited to tell you about the second part of my Las Vegas vacation. In this post, I will talk about another bucket list item I crossed off. Our last full day in Las Vegas was packed full of adventure, and I can’t wait to tell you about it, so let’s get to it!

July 19th – On this day, we also had a lot of things planned. We started off the day by going to get tickets for the America’s Got Talent show later that night. Due to some confusion, it took longer than we thought it would. However, we ended up getting our tickets and getting on a tour bus. The tour bus dropped us off at the Mob Museum. It is an very interesting place, and I even bought the picture they took of us doing a line up. After the Mob museum, our next activity was the Madame Tussauds wax museum but of course on the way to the museum I had to stop and do some more souvenir shopping. I had been to the wax museum in New York years ago, but this was my first time at this location. I did enjoy taking pictures here, but honestly, I liked the selfie museum more. However I  was happy that we went and checked it out. After that we went had lunch before doing our next activity. Our lunch was really good. The pasta I had was wonderful.  Our next adventure was a very popular Las Vegas attraction, the gondola rides. We did the indoor ride because it was very hot outside but outdoor rides are also offered. I did enjoy this ride it was an relaxing experience. After that, I had a mission to cross use a cake vending machine off my bucket list. However, we did make a stop at this cute bath store where I got a soap that had a unicorn toy in it. Then, after that, we went back to where I had seen one of the vending machines the day before. I was so happy to cross another item off of my bucket list! When we went back to the hotel, my mom and I road the roller coaster that went around the outside of our hotel. It was a crazy ride prefect for thrill seekers. Then we all got ready for one last night in Las Vegas! The big highlight of our night was going to see the America’s got Talent show. The show was a lot of fun. It had a wide variety of acts, and I highly recommend going to see it. After the show, we went to the sky pod at the Strat, which is an amazing observation tower. The views from here were the best of the whole trip! I also got some amazing pictures from here. After the Sky Pod, we went to a store where I got some stickers and other items before we went back to our hotel.

July 20th – On this day, we woke up early to fly home. I did not want to go home. I was hoping our flight would get delayed, so we would have another day in Las Vegas. That did not happen, but at the airport while I was waiting for my Starbucks order, I went to a store nearby and got some more souvenirs to help me remember this wonderful Las Vegas vacation.
