Ohio vacation part 2

Hello, my bucket list friends! I’m excited to be writing part 2 of my Ohio vacation! I have a whole bunch of stuff to talk about including a pedal boat that looks like a duck! I’m excited to share more of my summer vacation fun with you so let’s get to it!

June 5th – On this day we went on a lot of adventures. We started the day off by going to starbucks and then we went hiking at Hocking Hills state park. This park is a great spot for a hike and there was a very beautiful waterfall. The pictures that I took here are pretty amazing. Ohio is a very green state and going on this beautiful hike was a great example of that.This was a wonderful hike because we got to see how beautiful Ohio is. After our hike we went to the gift shop for some souvenirs. After that we went to a lake where we had reserved a pedal boat shaped like a duck. The boat was so cute! We had a fun time out on the lake. It was a combination of adventurous and relaxing. I absolutely loved that the boat looked like a huge rubber duck. After the lake we went to our next activity Yoder’s amish house. On the way I took pictures of a large building that was shaped like a basket. At the Yoder’s amish house I loved going to the barn and seeing a bunch of animals including baby animals. I took some pictures of some very cute baby cows and pigs. I also enjoyed exploring and getting to see the garden. There was also a gift shop where I got some fun items to help me remember my visit. After that we quickly stopped for dinner. I went to Taco Bell. That night we went and saw the Tecumseh play. My favorite part of the play was that there was real horses in it! I also got a toy horse at the gift shop here .This was a busy but fun day.

June 6th – we started this day of with fun train ride. The views from the train were beautiful and I got a special lanyard to remember the trip. I also got to have a drink on the train. This was a relaxing and adventurous activity. I love the pictures that I took on the tain. After the train we went to Cuyahoga valley national park. We went on a hike and we got to see a beautiful waterfall and walk through a very gorgeous area. This pictures that I took here are very relaxing to look at. Ohio is truly a beautiful state. We also went to the visitor center here. I got a bunch of fun souvenirs here. Our last big adventure of the day was going to the Christmas story house. A Christmas Story is one of my favorite Christmas movies and it was so cool to see where is was filmed. I liked that you could walk through the house and explore and take as many pictures and videos as you wanted to. The kitchen and the bedroom where my favorite rooms to explore but I also really liked the family room with the Christmas tree and the backyard. There was also a very fun gift shop here. I had a great time here taking pictures and learning things about the movie that I did not know. This was a great vacation day

the first day of June plus part one of my Ohio vacation.

Hello, my bucket friends! I’m super excited to write about my favorite time of the year! I started off the month of June on a high note. On the first day of June I got something really fun at a Safeway and the next day was the start of my Ohio vacation! I’m super excited to tell you all about it so let’s get to it !

June 1st, 2026 – On this day I started off the month by finding something really cool at Safeway. While at Safeway I got a Squishmallow activity book. That is full of cute pages. It was a good way to start the month.

June 2nd – On the 2nd day of the month I started my vacation to Ohio! It was a long day of travel but my mom and I made it to Ohio safely.

June 3rd – On this day I went to the Columbus zoo. I got to see many different animals here including flamingos, penguins, a koala, different kinds of birds, elepants, a polar bear ,and more! I also enjoyed riding a carousel while I was here. I love getting to ride carousels and I’m so glad I got to ride one on this day. I enjoyed exploring this zoo. I took a lot of great pictures here. I love the picture I took of the koala and I love the picture that my mom took of me by the flamingos. I got a fun souvenir cup and I had a good time buying more souvenirs in the gift shop. One of my favorite things that I got was a hat. Our next adventure was at the franklin park conservatory and botanical gardens. The butterfly exhibit was my favorite. It was so much fun to walk around and look at the butterflies. Other highlights here were getting to do a butterfly coloring activity, eating lunch and exploring the outdoor areas. There was a gift shop here too where I got a butterfly magnet and a sticker. This was a fun place to enjoy and experience. I highly recommend both of these attractions. Later that day we did some shopping my favorite thing I got was rubber duck.

June 4th – This was our second full day of our Ohio trip. We got Starbucks and then we went to Campbell Hill which is the highest point in Ohio . This was a fun stop and we were the only ones visiting it when we were there so it was really easy to take photos with the sign. After that we visited the oldest concrete street in America. After making those stops we went to the Ohio caverns! I loved both of the two tours that we took. The caverns were both beautiful and interesting. The guides provided lots of interesting information. I love the pictures that I took inside and outside of the caverns. I love the Ohio Caverns sign that I took pictures with. Walking through the caverns made me feel like an explorer even though I was just on a tour. I loved hearing the stories about the early days of the caverns being used as an attraction. There was also a really good gift shop here that had good prices. I got a shirt , a plush bat and other items here. This was one of my favorite things that we did on the whole trip. We still had a lot of other adventures left on this day. Our next adventure having lunch at the Golden Lamb which is the oldest restaurant in Ohio. The food was really good. I’m glad we stopped here. Our next adventure was going to Jungle Jim’s. This is coolest grocery store that I’ve ever been to in my life. There is way more than food here. I got a plush giraffe here and an Ohio shaped ice cube tray. There is so much to see at this store there are so many fun displays all around this huge store. We even got ice cream at the ice cream shop that was inside of the store. We still had one last adventure. We went to Buc-ee’s ! I love going to Buc-ees when I can. I bought a bunch of cool stuff including a bunch of Ohio souvenirs. I love the coloring book that I got here. This was a wonderfully busy and fun day of vacation. I also went swimming on this day.

Some fun highlights and life updates !

Hello, my bucket list friends! I know it has been a long time since I’ve posted on this blog however, I’m excited to get back to doing what I love. This summer was amazing and I can’t wait to share it with you! Some of my favorite adventures from this summer include exploring the wonderful state of Ohio, going to Knotts Berry farms for the first time, going to Build a Bear Workshop during my mall weekend, and getting to see my family in Idaho. Going forward I’m going to take some pressure off myself . I plan to write my summer posts in my normal style and to do my things I love posts for June – August. However for the rest of the months I’m going to take things easy and just write about some of my favorite things for each month or just whatever happens to be on mind. I’m also excited to say that I crossed off some bucket list items this summer. Along with my regular bucket list I enjoyed doing my summer bucket list game. One of my favorite memories from my summer bucket list game this year was doing some chalk art in Idaho I also finally set up my small pool in my yard. Another huge highlight of this summer was getting to welcome my beautiful niece to the world a few days after my birthday. Thank for reading ! I’m excited to be blogging again.

Summer bucket list game 2026

Hello, my bucket list friends! I’m determined to have a great summer this year. I’m also determined to cross off as many summer bucket list items as possible. This year’s list is mix of different items including easy everyday things like shopping at some of my favorite places, doing art projects, and eating some of my favorite foods. There are some items on this list that may seem difficult to cross off but I already have them planned . This list is also full of classic summer adventures that can be challenging or easy . However ,it does include challenging items that I don’t have plans to do. I’m excited to see how many items that I can cross off . I hope I can do some of the more challenging ones. I do feel like I have a stronger drive to cross more items off this year than I have in past years. With all that being said let’s get to this year’s summer bucket list game.

Things I love August 2025

Hello, my bucket list friends ! I’m so excited to write this post because I only have one more post to write after this about summer 2025. The next post I write will be about last year’s summer bucket list. I’m already looking forward to this year’s summer bucket list which will begin soon. Anyways with all that being said let’s get to the things I loved in August 2025.

Trip to Oxnard – In early August, I went on a trip to Oxnard. Highlights from this trip include visiting a presidential library , going to the Dallas Cowboys training camp , and shopping at Hobby Lobby. ( You can read about it HERE )

Trip to Idaho – During this month I also went on a trip to Idaho. Some highlights of my trip there include going to Zoo Boise , going thrift shopping, and seeing family. ( You can read about it HERE )

Getting to see Amy – On the first day of the month I wasn’t feeling the best but I got to see my friend and that always makes me feel a little bit better. We went to some fun places including CVS . I love the stuff I got there on that day but more importantly Friendship is one of the most valuable things that you can have in life. I’m very thankful that I have some truly wonderful friendships in my life. This day was a good reminder about the positive impact of friendship. ( You can read more about it HERE )

My Birthday – I got to celebrate my 35th birthday this month. I did some of my favorite things on this day including painting ,shopping , and eating cake. ( You can read about it HERE )
