The little things I enjoyed on Sunday and Monday

Hello, my bucket list friends. One of my favorite sayings is enjoy the little things. I wanted to highlight the little things I loved on Sunday and Monday. Without any more delay, let’s get to it!

Sunday – I started work later in the day. I sept in and took it easy until it was time to leave for work. Before work, I went to Safeway, where I got food and a hot wheels car. Then I went to get coffee. After that, I went to work early so I could buy something before I had to clock in. I bought this super cute Melissa and Doug sticker activity kit. Also, during my day at work, I got two chocolates that have toys inside and a container of squishy toys that are part of our Valentines Day seasonal items.

Monday – I had this day off! I slept in again, and I took it easy until my mom and I went into town. Our first stop was coffee, of course, then Pet Co, where I saw some very cute kittens. After Pet Co, I went to my favorite local party supplies store. I have been coming here since I was a kid. Being there made me feel young again. I got four pencils for a dollar because that’s something I would have gotten as a kid. I also got some some plastic sea animals, rubber ducks, a Pez disperser that is shaped like a truck, and a pen with a plastic heart on top. After that we went for a walk in the park. There is supposed to be rain coming this way soon, so it was nice to get outside for a walk. After our walk, I went to the movie theater to pick up a prize pack that I had won. Before walking back to the car, I went to the candy store, and I got some of the stickers that they had there.

There you have it some of the little things that I have enjoyed lately!

Hello my, my bucket list, friends! It may only be January, but I’m looking forward to warmer days and, of course, summer. There have been some new seasonal items put out at my work lately, including some great toys! I’ve gotten some of them. I love the box of fidget toys that I got! I also got two of these super cute toys that have an animal pop up when you squeeze them. I also got two containers of bubbles. One of them has a duck on the top. The other is shaped like an ice cream cone. I also got some light up toys and a ball. You can see the items in the pictures posted below. Getting items like this makes me even more excited for summer! I have some very fun things planned for summer and I can’t wait. I’m especially excited about going on vacation! Lots of clearance shopping and buying new seasonal items

Hello, my bucket list, friends! As some of you know, I work at Walgreens. One of my favorite sections of the store is the seasonal isle. Right now, there are some big changes going on in the seasonal isle. The Christmas items are on clearance, and the Valentines Day items are being put on the shelves. We are also putting out more outdoor toys. I have done my fair share of clearance shopping. I’m surprised at how many times are left. I’ve gotten some great clearance items, including a gel timer and surprise toys that also come with candy, a leopard print tumbler, a bucket of fake snow that has toys inside, nail stickers, GooToobz toys, a Squishmallow hooded blanket, and a drawing game. I’ve also been getting some of the new seasonal items. I got some Valentine’s Day Pez dispensers, a bucket of outdoor toys, and a squishy toy shaped like an ice cream cone. I’m excited to see what seasonal items will be on the shelves next! Have you bought any clearance items this year?

A new squishmallow and another trip to the mall!

Hello, my bucket list, friends! It’s January, but stores are getting for Valentine’s Day. That includes the store where I work. I was very happy when I saw that we had some Valentine’s Day Squishmallows out. I chose a cat squishmallow that is holding a heart. She is super cute, and I was very excited to bring her home with me. Yesterday, I went to the mall for the 2nd time this year. The main reason I went was to get a massage, but I also stopped by Claire’s. I got some cute hair bows and other hair accessories. I also got two bracelets. I feel good overall about how this year has started.

The end of 2023 and the start of 2024

Hello, my bucket list, friends! It is great to be here in 2024! I wanted to write a quick post about how 2023 ended for me and how 2024 started. The time between Christmas and New Years is kind of weird. However, I was able to do some fun things during that time. I went to the Goodwill where I got some books, a Barbie horse with saddle, and two Barbie dolls that I believe are from the 90s. Right after that, I went to Target, where I got a bunch of bath bombs on sale , a Pez dispenser, a Kinect Sand playset, and two rubber ducks. There was also a day when I went to brunch with my sister and after that I went to the Dollar Tree. At the Dollar Tree, I got some fun items blind bag toys, and some Valentine’s Day items. On the last day of the year, I went to church, Target, Burger King, and my friends house, where we celebrated the new year. It was hard to stay up, but we did it! The next day, we ended up going to the mall it was a great way to start the new year. Since the new year has started, things have been pretty much the same. Recently, I got a Squishmallow at work that was on sale for a dollar. I also got a notebook and gel pens. I am looking forward to the adventures that I will have this year. I pray that all of you have a happy and safe new year!

Employee shopping day and a Barbie activity kit blogmas day 22

Hello, my bucket list, friends! On Friday, we had an employee shopping day at work where we got a bigger discount than normal. I had the day off but I came in to shop. I mainly got household items, but I also got a large Squishmallow and a pair of fuzzy socks! The next day at work, I noticed a Barbie activity kit that I had not seen before. I was so excited when it came time for my break. I went and bought it right away! It is a simple kit that has an activity pad and stickers, but I’m still really happy that I got it!

Hello, my bucket list, friends! Yesterday, I went to a Savers store that I had never been to before. I  was excited to explore this new location, and it did not disappoint! This store had a large selection of items, including lots of dolls and plush toys. I got two Barbie dolls, including a color reveal doll that was still covered in paint. I’m excited to see what she series she is from. Some of my other finds included some American Girl books, stickers, two Barbie puzzles, four TY beanie babies, a bag with two Christmas craft kits in it, and a set of plush Peeps. The store was a good size and it was busy but not overly busy. I’m very happy with the items that I got during this trip!

being busy and breaktime shopping blogmas day 19

Hello, my bucket list, friends! I’m really behind on my posts for blogmas, and there is a reason for that. Work has been very busy, and it has been very hard to keep up with a lot of things, including my blog posts, but I’m determined to catch up. The fast pace of work has had me stressed out lately, and it is no secret that I like to shop when I’m stressed. Well, let’s face it. I like to shop anytime. Anyways I’ve been getting some really cool things during my little shopping trips including a Barbie doll, two plush dogs that sing, Lion King toys, surprise squishmellows, another Barbie color reveal doll and, candy. It might not just be the stress that is causing me to shop so much. when you are working in retail, especially at this time of year, there is a lot of shopping going on around you and maybe seeing people buying all kinds of things and also buying lots of things at once has inspired me to shop more. I also got some more Christmas presents for my family. Have you been shopping more this week ?

shopping and more shopping blogmas day 9

Hello, my bucket list, friends! This is a popular time of year for one of my favorite activities. That activity is shopping, of course! On Friday, I did some breaktime shopping at work. Our Christmas themed items are going fast, so I got a few more things I wanted before they sell out. The items I got included Kinder Joy eggs, light up earrings, and hair accessories. On Saturday, I went to the hardwhere store where I got two Christmas themed squishy toys. I also went to the Dollar Tree. The location that I went to is pretty big, and it usually has a good selection of items. I was happy to see that there were plenty of Christmas items on the shelves. Some of the items I got were craft kits, a cookie decorating kit, candy, a hair bow, blind bag toys, a tooth brush, bath bombs with toys inside, Christmas themed erasers and more! After the Dollar Tree, I went to Target. The first thing I got a target was a bath fizzer that had a prize inside. One item that I was really excited about was a Barbie cutie reveal pet set. I also got more Christmas squishy toys! It was a fun two days of shopping!

A classic Christmastime treat blogmas day 4

Hello, my bucket list, friends! Yesterday, I got two plastic candy candy canes filled with chocolate. These fun plastic candy canes are one of my favorite Christmastime treats. I think it would be fun to fill the candy canes with colored sand or beads to make them into decorations. I love how these treats are only a few dollars, and you get a fun plastic cane that you can keep. I don’t think that I have ever seen art done with these before, so it will be interesting to see what I can come up with.
