Blogmas day 14 Painting snowflakes

Hello, my bucket list, friends! It is time for another blogmas post about an art project. I have only done one post about an art project for blogmas so far, so I decided to do another. I had a cute craft kit that I had got from Target that had three wooden snowflakes that you can paint. One thing that I really liked about this kit was that it came with two paint brushes and a good amount of paint colors. When it came time to paint the snowflakes, I didn’t have much of an idea of how I was going to paint the snowflakes. The first snowflakes I painted the first snowflake really simply. I only used two colors, and I did not do any fancy designs. With the other two snowflakes, I did dots on both. I love painting dots when I do art projects. I love the way all three snowflakes turned out. I wonder what art project I will do next.

Painting a colorful birdhouse

Hello, my bucket list friends! I hope your week has gotten off to a great start. Yesterday, I had the day off so I decided to do one of my favorite things. I did an art kit. I have quite a few art kits that I have not completed yet so yesterday I chose a simple birdhouse painting kit. There where three paint colors included in this kit but I decided to also used some other paint that I had. In addition to that I decided to use a set of paint brushes that I had instead of using the small on that came with the kit. I wanted to make my house very colorful I also wanted to include dots on my birdhouse because there is something that is both fun and relaxing about painting dots. I really liked the size of this bird house. It wasn’t huge but it was large enough that I could spread out the colors. I made a video of me painting the bird house . You can find the video on my Instagram page my username is summerrockstar. Doing this art kit remined me that I need to do more of the art kits that I have in my room. I not only have fun doing them they are good for my mentle health as well. I’m really happy with how this project turned out!

Thanks for reading about this art project!

Painting a rocket!

Hello, my bucket list friends! I just completed painting a rocket that actually lights up. I got this art kit at Target in the Dollar section. It is very simple but also very fun. There were three paint colors in this kit and I only used two of them. This kit did not take long at all to complete but I’m very happy with the way it looks. I also love how the light changes colors. I would definitely buy other kit similar to this one.

A trip to the Dollar Tree and a art project

Hello, my bucket list friends and happy Sunday. Yesterday I did some shopping at the Dollar Tree. I was excited to see what items they had for Christmas. At the location I went to there were still many boxes of Christmas items that they had not opened yet. However there were some items out and ready ready to be bought. I got a snowman ornament, a light up Christmas tree, stickers and a wooden Christmas tree in the Christmas section. Some of the other items I picked up on this trip are play- doh, a squishy toy and a wooden word to paint. Today was the day I decided to paint the wooden Word. Painting is a very relaxing activity and I’m glad I did it today. I used three different colors to paint the word hello. I love Painting dots when I paint so I did that on this piece. I love the way it turned out and I want to paint the back when the paint dries.

pottery and popcorn

Hello, my bucket list friends ! Summer has been both busy and fun this year and there is so much more to come! Before I get too far behind on my blog posts I wanted to tell you about what I did on Thursday.  I went out to run some errands with my dad and while we were in the car I got a phone call I had been waiting for. Back in March my mom and I went to my favorite paint your own pottery place. ( You can read about it HERE ) The day we went was also the day they closed but they let us stay to finish painting. Recently they reopened and Thursday was the day that our art was ready to pick up! I was so excited to finally bring my art pieces home! After I picked up our art my dad and I went to Trader Joe’s where I got one of my favorite snacks pickle flavored popcorn! I only see it at Trader Joe’s during the summer. If you like pickles I highly recommend it! I’m just gonna end this post by saying yay for art and popcorn !

Wooden bird house picture painting

Hello, my bucket list friends. I recently completed another craft kit that I had in my room. It was a very cute wooden picture of a bird house with birds that you paint. With out further delay let’s dive on in !

Wooden bird house picture painting

I was looking at my arts and craft supplies when I found this kit that I got from the Dollar Tree. One thing I loved about it was that the picture of the birds and the bird house was printed on wood and not paper. This kit came with the wooden picture , paints, a paint brush and a string to hang up your picture with. When I was painting I didn’t really care that much that the colors were mixing. I enjoying  painting so much that sometimes I don’t focus on the results. Instead of painting the whole bird house I decided to cover it with dots! I like making dots when I paint. When I was done painting I hung the picture up in my room. I did enjoy this craft kit and I would like to do more kits like this.
