Just some good little moments and other things

Hello, my bucket list, friends! Sometimes, I have things that I want to blog about, but I don’t really know how to put them all together, so I just throw them together anyway! I hope you enjoy this post about some random things that I want to write about

I got New Pez dispensers . On Thursday at work, I got three Pez dispensers, including two Barbie Pez dispensers. I was so excited when I saw the new Pez dispensers. I also got a popcorn Pez dispenser. It is so cute! I’m happy that I added a few more Pez dispensers to my collection.

Saturday fun -I had work on this day, but I had time before work started to enjoy the day. I got two of my favorite surprise toys that come in chocolate. Hidden in the chocolate were two very cute baby animal toys, a seal, and a bird. Also, before work, I went to Starbucks and the park with my mom. It was a nice day, and it was good to get outside. Before I clocked in for my shift, I bought some Valentine’s Day items. During my break, I got some other items, including clearance items. It was a pretty good day.

I want summer to hurry up and get here! I wrote a whole article about this on vocal media. (You can read it HERE ) I’m planning some really fun things for this summer, and I can’t wait for summer to finally get here!

I love the pictures I took of my bed yesterday! I made my bed yesterday and put a bunch of my stuffed animals nicely on my bed. I follow the clutter core aesthetic. I wrote an article about clutter core on vocal media a while ago. ( You can read it HERE )

My first day trip of 2024

Hello, my bucket list, friends! On Saturday I went on a day trip to Monterrey. I have been here many times before but I really enjoy going here. On this day trip, I also went to Pacific Grove. I can’t wait to tell you more about it so here we go !

Monterrey / Pacific Grove day trip

The first activity of my day trip was going to a place that I love going to when I go to Monterrey and that place is the antique mall. When I got to the antique, I headed straight for a booth that I remembered from last time. This booth is full of things that I love to collect like My Little Pony, Barbie, and Lion King. One of the first things that I picked up at this booth was a 101 Dalmatians Christmas decoration that was from the 90s. When I had finished shopping at the antique mall the other items that I got were , a bag with three Pez Dispensers in it, two Barbie doll dresses, a Barbie pen and a pack of Squishmallow trading cards. After the antique mall we went to eat and then we walked around. We got Ghirardelli chocolate at their store. I also got some postcards at a gift shop, and I got soap that has a rubber ducky in it. After our fun in Monterey, we went to see the butterflies in Pacific Grove, and I’m so glad we did. It was amazing to see that many butterflies flying around. I got some pictures, but since I just had my phone with me and not a nice camera, the pictures are not super great, but I still had a great time seeing them. It was a great first day trip of the year.

Three pretty great days

Hello, my bucket list, friends! I hope you are starting your week on a good note. I’m happy to say that I’ve had some fun days recently and I want to share them with you. Without any more of a delay, here we go!

Friday 01/ 19

On this day, my shift at work started in the late afternoon. Before work I got coffee. I always find coffee to be comforting, but on these gloomy days, it is extra comforting. After getting coffee, I went to work. Before I started my shift I did some shopping. I love the fun Valentine’s Day items that we have in the store right now. I got some Valentine’s cards that come with stickers, a really cute pen with a cat on top, and a bracelet that looks like a butterfly. In addition to the Valentine’s Day items, I got a Barbie pop reveal toy. During my breaks, I bought some other items, including heart-shaped stacking crayons, Valentine’s Day Kinder Eggs, and two Hot Wheels cars. I also had soup for lunch, and that is also very comforting on a gloomy day. This was a very normal day, but it was a good one.

Saturday 01/20 I was very excited on this day because It was the day that I was going to see a friend that I had not gotten to see in a long time! We meet at a pizza place . It was great to see her. After lunch, we went to the candy store where I got a pop-ups pop that came with a blue shark lollipop holder. After that we went to the toy store. It had been a while since I had been there. There were a lot of very cute things there. I got some stickers, two My Little Pony toys, and some of those cute suction cup critters. After that my friend and I went to a coffee shop. We stayed there for a while and talked. I did not want our time together to come to an end, but I had to get to work. While on break at work. I got some more Valentine’s Day cards that come with stickers. I also got two boxes of model magic that were on clearance. It goes without saying that today was a great day.

Sunday 01/ 21

I also had work on this day, but I started off the day with coffee and church. I love being at church it is always great to see everyone. After church service, we had nachos with other church members . It was great to hang out and socialize for a little bit before going home. At home, we took down some outdoor Christmas lights, and before I knew it, it was time to go to work. I got more coffee before work. During my break, I did get two of the chocolates that come with animal toys. It was a good day at work and an overall good day in general.

Sticker craft kit yay!

Hello, my bucket list, friends! I’m excited to tell you about the latest craft kit that I opened. One thing that I really like about this craft kit is that it comes with lots of stickers! I did not even use all the stickers that came with the kit. The kit was a very simple one it came with a plastic tumbler that included a lid a straw and two sheets of stickers to decorate the tumbler with. I enjoyed decorating the tumbler, and I love the way that it looks. I wish that I had more sticker craft kits like this one. I will have to keep my eye out!

The little things I enjoyed on Sunday and Monday

Hello, my bucket list friends. One of my favorite sayings is enjoy the little things. I wanted to highlight the little things I loved on Sunday and Monday. Without any more delay, let’s get to it!

Sunday – I started work later in the day. I sept in and took it easy until it was time to leave for work. Before work, I went to Safeway, where I got food and a hot wheels car. Then I went to get coffee. After that, I went to work early so I could buy something before I had to clock in. I bought this super cute Melissa and Doug sticker activity kit. Also, during my day at work, I got two chocolates that have toys inside and a container of squishy toys that are part of our Valentines Day seasonal items.

Monday – I had this day off! I slept in again, and I took it easy until my mom and I went into town. Our first stop was coffee, of course, then Pet Co, where I saw some very cute kittens. After Pet Co, I went to my favorite local party supplies store. I have been coming here since I was a kid. Being there made me feel young again. I got four pencils for a dollar because that’s something I would have gotten as a kid. I also got some some plastic sea animals, rubber ducks, a Pez disperser that is shaped like a truck, and a pen with a plastic heart on top. After that we went for a walk in the park. There is supposed to be rain coming this way soon, so it was nice to get outside for a walk. After our walk, I went to the movie theater to pick up a prize pack that I had won. Before walking back to the car, I went to the candy store, and I got some of the stickers that they had there.

There you have it some of the little things that I have enjoyed lately!

Play-Doh smoothie play set fun

Hello, my bucket list, friends! Recently, I bought a Play-Doh smoothie play set from my work. I love using Play-Doh, and I find it very relaxing. I also like seeing the different kinds of playsets that they come up with. This playset was fun to use, but the blender part was somewhat difficult. I really liked the molds that came with the kit. There we so many fun fruit shapes. I will use those again for sure. The Play-Doh smoothies I made were super cute, and I am overall happy with this kit, and I’m excited to see what kind of Play-Doh playset I will write about next!

Candle holder art kit fun!

Hello, my bucket list, friends! Yesterday, I got out one of the many art kits that are in my room. This art kit is a little different from the ones that I had done in the past because instead of coloring wood, paper, or foam, I was coloring a ceramic LED candle holder. This kit came with three ceramic markers. The markers did have a strong smell to them, but they worked as expected. I chose to cover my turtle shaped LED candle holder with little dots and marks, but I did fully color the turtle’s head. I enjoyed doing this craft kit, and I would recommend it. It was simple and relaxing, and I wish there were more craft kits like this. I don’t see them very often at all. I got this one at a local toy store, but I’m sure you could easily find them online.

Lots of clearance shopping and buying new seasonal items

Hello, my bucket list, friends! As some of you know, I work at Walgreens. One of my favorite sections of the store is the seasonal isle. Right now, there are some big changes going on in the seasonal isle. The Christmas items are on clearance, and the Valentines Day items are being put on the shelves. We are also putting out more outdoor toys. I have done my fair share of clearance shopping. I’m surprised at how many times are left. I’ve gotten some great clearance items, including a gel timer and surprise toys that also come with candy, a leopard print tumbler, a bucket of fake snow that has toys inside, nail stickers, GooToobz toys, a Squishmallow hooded blanket, and a drawing game. I’ve also been getting some of the new seasonal items. I got some Valentine’s Day Pez dispensers, a bucket of outdoor toys, and a squishy toy shaped like an ice cream cone. I’m excited to see what seasonal items will be on the shelves next! Have you bought any clearance items this year?

being busy and breaktime shopping blogmas day 19

Hello, my bucket list, friends! I’m really behind on my posts for blogmas, and there is a reason for that. Work has been very busy, and it has been very hard to keep up with a lot of things, including my blog posts, but I’m determined to catch up. The fast pace of work has had me stressed out lately, and it is no secret that I like to shop when I’m stressed. Well, let’s face it. I like to shop anytime. Anyways I’ve been getting some really cool things during my little shopping trips including a Barbie doll, two plush dogs that sing, Lion King toys, surprise squishmellows, another Barbie color reveal doll and, candy. It might not just be the stress that is causing me to shop so much. when you are working in retail, especially at this time of year, there is a lot of shopping going on around you and maybe seeing people buying all kinds of things and also buying lots of things at once has inspired me to shop more. I also got some more Christmas presents for my family. Have you been shopping more this week ?

Hello, my bucket list, friends! I have gotten a little bit behind on my blog posts because I was busy having a great time with my amazing friend this weekend! We met on Saturday evening at Starbucks. Then we went to look at Christmas lights. We went to this one neighborhood where almost every house was decorated. There were also lighted archers that you could walk under. There were so many things to look at and take pictures of. I got cold, but other than that, it was perfect. I spent the night at my friends house. I think it is important to remember that sleepovers are still fun even in your 30s! The next day we went to Goodwill to drop some things off but we also went inside the store. My main goal was to look for books. This location had a good selection of books. I got some American girl books and a Mary-Kate and Ashley book. Some other items that I got were a Build a Bear brand bunny plush, 4th of July themed buttons, a Ty Beanie Baby ornament , and Christmas art supplies. Another highlight of the weekend was that my friend and I decorated gingerbread cookies and a house. I hope all of you are having an amazing Christmastime!
