A new job and fun times !

Hello, my bucket list friends ! My life has been jammed packed lately. In addition to participating in the OCD study at Stanford I got a new job that I’m excited to tell all of you about. I’ve also been enjoying some fun days. Let’s get going!

A new job and fun times !

2/16/2019 – The day after I got home from Stanford I started at my new job . It was hard to leave my other jobs but I’m really excited to have one amazing job. I’ll be both a receptionist and a massage therapist at this job. My first day went well and I’m excited to go in again this week.

2/17/2019 – This day was jammed packed with fun ! I met up with my amazing friend we went to the Goodwill ,the Dollar Tree , an awesome pizza place, and frozen yogurt. Then that evening we went to church with my parents. This day was filled to the brim with my favorite things. I’m so great full for days like this.

2/18/2019 – Another jammed packed day filled with my favorite things. My mom and I got coffee , went for a walk and went shopping at Target. I found some great things in the dollar section. I also go a My Little pony Equestria girls pinkie pie doll. The only downside was that everything was very crowed that day but overall it was a great day!

Spring break Idaho 2018

Hello, my bucket list friends . In my last post I wrote about how I had just gotten back from Idaho but I didn’t really talk about my trip well I’m going to talk about it now .Here we go !

Spring break Idaho 2018

This was my 3rd time going to Idaho , I went there for the first time last October and then the 2nd time was during Thanksgiving . For my 3rd trip  we went during spring break. We got there Saturday evening  On the way to get our bags I bought a new snowglobe for my collection ! I know this was my 3rd trip but I still didn’t have a Idaho snowglobe but at the airport I was able to buy a very cute one that has a black bear in it .My grandparents picked my mom and I up at the airport . My grandparents didn’t see us a first  when we walked out of the airport ,so I walk up to the window of the car where my grandma was sitting and I put my face right up next to the window when she turned and saw me she jumped it was so funny we were all laughing . After that we went to dinner before going back to my grandparents house . It was great to see jewels ( my grandparents dog ) again she was very happy to see us . The next day we walked jewels then went to visit my Uncle . We all went lunch and to Walmart where I got some new pony toys . We also found a dog  running around close to my Uncle’s house When we took the dog back to its home there were three other dogs that lived there . The dogs were all very friendly and I loved meeting them . The next day I went with my mom and grandma to go get coffee and go shopping at the Goodwill we also went to this popcorn store that has all different flavors of popcorn. I got some awesome things at the Goodwill including some My Little Pony stuff and Some Disney shirts . Other adventures from my Idaho trip include another trip to Walmart where I got more pony stuff ,a beautiful bonfire , a Walk down to the river with Mocha ( my uncle’s dog ) and a birthday party for my mom and my aunt . One other highlight from this trip was watching the movie God’s not dead 2 with a bunch of family on the last night of the trip. Overall it was a pretty good trip To be completely honest my mental health was acting up during this trip but I was still able to have a good time .

The debt I don’t regret

Hello, my bucket list friends ! As some of you know I’ve been om quite a few adventures during the past few years and I’ve crossed off a bunch of list items . It is no secret that traveling , amusement park tickets and attending events such as WrestleMania does not come cheap . Like many I turned to credit cards to help me cover the cost of having fun and day-to-day life as well . Here I am and 27 years old with a lot of debt including student loans . Some people would think that I regret  all that spending and travel but the truth is I really don’t  and I’m about to tell you why .

Why I don’t regret my debt

Before I get into why I don’t regret getting in to all the debt I’m in ,let me say this . I’m not encouraging anyone to spend the way I did . I’m also not saying that getting multiple credit card and spending money you don’t have is the best idea in the world but I’m saying that for me it was well worth it.

The main reason of why all my debt is worth it to me is because I have gotten to travel and do many fun and exciting things in the past five years or so then I  have ever done before . That is including but not limited to going to Disney World,  going to Disneyland at Christmas time , Going to Arizona for a weekend going to New York , going to San Diego ,going to WrestleMania and there is no way I can for get all the amazing concerts I’ve gone to . I’ve made memories that will last a life time !  I have seen and done so many fun things . I smile when I think about all the adventures that I have had  and  just thinking about all those good times is a great way to relive stress .I have also built up some fun collections like my snow globe and my My Little Pony collection . I made the choice that I didn’t want to wait untill I was retired to start  traveling and living life to the fullest and I’m glad that I didn’t wait . Now don’t get me wrong all the bills are stressful but the stress I feel now is worth all the fun I had then . I’m still going to be doing some fun things including traveling but I am going to be slowing down a lot with the spending . I have already started building up my saving account and as soon as I pass the Mblex I will be able to work as a massage therapist. After that I will be paying more money towards my credit cards . I know that now is the time to slow down , because let’s face it  I’m getting toward the end of my 20’s and I’ve always wanted to own my own house 🙂

The great Monterey adventure March 2018

Hello , my bucket list friend and happy March ! There are many things that I love about my life and having wonderful friends is defiantly one of them. For the first weekend in March I got to spend a  fun-filled weekend in Monterey with my cousin Amanda and our friend Tamara. We had a great time and I can’t wait to tell you all about it  so let’s go !

Monterey March 2018

The day of our trip to Monterey started off with a stop for food then another stop to get our nails done . I had never been to the nail place that we went to but they did a wonderful job . I love my green sparkly nails and my cousin got nail polish that changes colors ! After getting our nails done we were on our way . When we got to Monterey our first stop was the Monterey bay aquarium . I had to been to the aquarium before but it had been a long time . The aquarium is really big and we all had a fun time exploring and looking at every thing from jellyfish to penguins . We also got to watch a diver feed some of the fish . After exploring and shopping at the aquarium we checked in to our hotel that was right along the beach ! After we took sometime to rest at the hotel we went out to eat and we all enjoyed some really good food and dessert . After eating and walking around we came back to the hotel. I’m sad to say that  I was not feeling very well so I stayed and rested while Amanda and Tamara went swimming . The next day started out with a short walk down to the beach . It was a beautiful sunny morning and the beach was fantastic, We all had a great time walking and running along the beach. After our adventure to the beach we went to breakfast at the black bear diner . I had never been to there before but after one visit I highly recommend it ! After checking out of the hotel we did a lot of exploring and some shopping around Monterey before having a very yummy dinner and heading back home . It was a very fun weekend and a wonderful way to celebrate Tamara’s birthday ! I hope you all have a great March ! Rock on – Christina Epperly

News boys concert 2018

Hello , my bucket list friends ! I recently went to my first concert of 2018 , It was so much fun and I’m so excited to tell you all about it , so hold on tight and here we go !

News Boys Concert February 16th 2018

I was so excited when my friend Ashley asked me to go to a concert with her . Ashley and I had gone to a concert together before and we had a lot of fun and I couldn’t wait for another fun- filled night . It was exciting to go to a new venue that I had never been to before . We got great seats that were only about 10 rows back from the stage. Our VIP tickets allowed us to get in early so we were able to buy some really cool rubber bracelets before the lines got to long . The Concert it’s self was wonderful the News Boys put on a very energetic and exciting show . I had a lot of fun Worshiping God with some amazing music ! Ashley and I both really enjoyed the concert. It was a great source of stress relief  for me, after having to deal with my laptop crashing and having to buy a new one.  Not hving a laptop really slowed down my studying and I was very frustrated. The concert was just what I needed. Overall it was an amazing night with some beautiful music and I can’t wait untill I get to have a fun-filled night like that again .

Bye 2017 Hi 2018

Hello, my bucket list friends and happy 2018! I hope all of you had a fun and safe time celebrating the new year! In my next blog post I’ll be talking and my plans and goals for the new year, but for this blog post I’m going tell you all about how I celebrated the last day of 2017 and welcomed 2018.

New year’s fun

My New Year’s Eve celebration started with an end of year hang out with my friend Amy. We went to Starbucks and talked about our plans and goals for the new year, then we went on a nice walk. After spending some time back at home. I went to my cousin Amanda’s house to get ready to go celebrate the new year at Gilroy gardens. I had just ben to Gilroy gardens for the first time on December 23rd   . but I was very excited to go again. (you can read about it here) After getting my makeup done by my cousin. Her fiancé came to pick us up and we headed off to Gilroy gardens! We didn’t have a lot of time before the fireworks, but we went on 3 rides, got some food, new year’s hats and accessories. I also bought a really cool light up cup.  Amanda found a really good stop to see the fireworks and all of us had a wonderful time welcoming 2018 while watching some pretty awesome fireworks! After a long day of fun, I crashed with my cousin for the night. I was tired but so thankful that I had a great time welcoming in the new year.

I hope all of you live 2018 to the fullest . Rock on – Christina Epperly

thanksgiving in Idaho

Hello, my beautiful bucket list friends! Here we are in the last month of 2017 and I have quite a few blog posts that I want to write and videos that I want to make before we jump on into 2018 so get ready for a lot of updates from this professional dreamer.

This past thanksgiving was very different for me, it was the first thanksgiving that I have ever celebrated outside of California. The biggest difference is that it was colder then California thanksgiving but I’m getting ahead of myself. Let’s go back to Los Angeles, the day after I crossed #139 (go beach hopping) off my list. I woke up very early that Tuesday morning to go LAX, so I could take my first flight of two flights that I would take that day. I got to the airport with plenty of time to spare so I had all the time I needed to find my gate, eat and charge up my phone before getting on my first flight to Seattle. After a two-hour ride I was in the state of Washington for the first time ever. When I arrived, one of the first things I did was look at my flight information on my phone. I was confused at first but it didn’t take long for me to realize that my 2nd flight (the one that would take me to Idaho) was delayed by about 3 hours. Needless to say, I was not very happy about this, but life happens. One of the worst things about being stuck in the airport was looking outside and seeing the awful weather outside but from what I hear that’s just how it is in Seattle. I was really missing the California sunshine at this point . The Disneyland plane that was parked by the windows was able to put a smile on my face, but I had plenty of time before the now delayed plane was ready to go. So I did the best thing I could to lift my mood I bought myself some food, a snow globe and a post card. After my little shopping trip, I relaxed the best I could until it was time for my last flight of the day. When I finally got to Idaho I was tired but excited to see my family and Jewels one of my favorite dogs in the whole world. After going out for a great dinner and spending time with family I crashed. The next day was the day before Thanksgiving so it was a very busy day, but I was able to stop by the Goodwill and get some cool stuff including some My Little Pony toys. It was a fun day filled with lots of shopping, food and family fun. I had a lot of new my little pony toys before the day ended.

The next day  it was time to celebrate thanksgiving with some of the people that I love most.Even tough I was in a different time zone than normal. Thanksgiving was pretty much the same. There was lots of food and time to catch up with those you don’t get to see often. After a great day of celebrating with family and eating lots of wonderful food. It was time to get ready for my 4th and final fight of the trip. The flight back home was fast and before I knew it I was back with my cats in California. It was a good but short trip to Idaho. When I go back I should have more time to explore and maybe even cross off a list item or two.
