The good things on my mind

Hello,my bucket list friends! I know we often have a tendency to focus on the negative things in life. Lately I’ve been making more of an effort to focus on the positive things in life. I thought it would be fun to put my positive thoughts into a blog post so here it is!

Bath bombs and bows – On a trip to the mall I got some great items at clare’s and Lush. Including two bath bombs, a bubble bar, hair bows, necklaces.

My horse friends – I love that I can walk to a stable by my house and see horses. I’ve loved horses since I was a kid and it so much fun to go on a walk and give them carrots.

Arts and crafts- I recently colored a cute wooden box craft kit from Target. I’ve also been drawing a little bit. I hope to put more designs into my red bubble store.

What positive things have you been thinking about lately?

Hello Kitty Cafe

Hello, my bucket list friends ! I recently got to go to the very cute Hello Kitty Cafe and I’m very excited to tell you all about it ! Here we go !

Hello Kitty Cafe

I had heard about the Hello Kitty Cafe before but I hadn’t had a chance to check it out. Well, I finally got my chance to go and it did not disappoint! It was probably the smallest cafe I have ever been to but it was for sure the cutest! There were some very cute treats to choose from. I chose the strawberry cake and the peach iced tea. The tea was very sweet but very delicious, it came in this very cute cup with a picture of Hello Kitty on it ! The strawberry cake was very cute and very tasty !¬† It had these cute Hello Kitty candies on it. I hope I get to go back sometimes and try some more treats ! If you get the chance I highly recommend checking this place out !

Dear, OCD I’m in charge now

Hello, my bucket list friends . Last month I wrote quite a few posts about my TMS treatments for OCD . If you want to read them just look at my posts on this blog from February 2019. Anyways, I thought it would be a good idea to give an update on how I’m doing since treatment.Hold on tight and here we go !

Dear OCD, I’m in charge now

In my previous posts about TMS I wrote about some of the changes that occurred during treatments. OCD began to lose it’s grip on me and I was feeling more in control then ever before. Well, I’m happy to say that things have continued to improve. Before receiving the TMS treatments, OCD controlled a large part of my day. It was always controlling what I could and could not wear, what songs I could and couldn’t listen to, what order I had to put the blankets on my bed and many more things that impacted my everyday life. I felt anxiety that if I didn’t follow OCD’s orders bad things would happen . I never truly realized just how much of my time that OCD took from me.¬† Now, things are very different I’m in charge now. I’m able to make my own everyday choices with feeling little to no anxiety. If OCD stars to give me orders I remind it that I’m in charge now and I do what I want to do. I was so used to following OCD’s orders that now sometimes I have to stop and ask myself what I want to do . I feel so free now! Now , don’t get me wrong life is not perfect and it never will be but I feel a lot better now that I’m free from OCD’s control. OCD still sneaks in with it’s unwanted thoughts from time to time but I can dismiss these thoughts faster and easier then ever before ! I’m so happy that I took part in the study at Stanford. Things are looking up.
