Self care weekend

Hello, my bucket list friends! My stress level has be high lately so I decided to make this a self care weekend. Today is Sunday and can officially say that I have a sore throat and that I’m feeling pretty out of it. I’m not surprised because there has been something going around at my work. I’m happy to say though that it wasn’t till last night I started to feel off so I did enjoy my Friday night and Saturday. On Friday evening I did one of my favorite things. I took a bubble bath with two bath bombs. The bath bombs I used were Christmas themed and they both had prizes in them. I also printed out some coloring pages from Crayola on Friday. If you’re looking for some great coloring pages to print. I highly recommend going to Crayola’s website. Yesterday, I continued to do some of my favorite things to help me de-stress. I went to a local thrift store to see what I could find. This thrift store has shorter hours then the big name stores but I have been trying to visit this store more often. I bought a few fun things including a Barbie doll and a Build a Bear reindeer plush. I also got a very cute Coca-Cola polar bear plush. While we were in town we also went to Starbucks for coffee. Coffee is one of my favorite drinks. When we got home my mom and I went on a walk. The weather was perfect for one. Later that evening we went to a family members house for game night! That brings us today. I plan to spend today relaxing and writing another one of my favorite things.

Idaho October 2021 part 2

Hello,my bucket list friends! It’s time for part two of my October 2021 Idaho adventure. This part of my adventure takes place on Halloween. We started the day with a trip to Starbucks then we went to lunch with family. Every Sunday my Idaho faimly goes to the same restaurant. It’s cool how the staff there knows them. After a very yummy lunch my mom and I went with my aunt and uncle to get ready for a trunk -or-treat event at a fair ground. My aunt brought her two mini horses to the event. It was so cute to see them and the other mini horses dressed up. I went trunk-or -treating because you are never too old to have fun! I loved going around to all the different stations and getting candy. I dressed up in my Coca-Cola polar bear pajamas. I was nervous that someone would say something to me since I’m 31 years old but no one did. They also had games to play I got some prizes including a cute plush bunny. It was one of the best Halloween nights that I have ever had. The next day we came back home. It was a great trip to Idaho.

Weekend road trip May 2021 Part one

Hello, my bucket list friends! This weekend I went on a family road trip. It was a big adventure and I can’t wait to tell you more about it so here we go! My adventure started on Friday after work. When we began the drive up to Redding it took about four hours. We made a stop for dinner. After dinner we went straight to the hotel to get some sleep. We had a big day ahead of us. On Saturday we started off our day with a tour of the Shasta caverns. After driving and parking we had to take a boat and a bus to get to the caverns. I had a fun time on the boat. Once we got to the caverns I was amazed at how beautiful they were! I felt like an explorer as I walked around the caverns taking pictures. If you ever get the chance to check it out I highly recommend it! After exploring the caverns it was time to explore the gift shop. I got some fun things at the gift shop including a hat and a magnet. Are next adventure was at McArthur-Burney Falls Memorial State Park. It was hard to get to because there were so many people there. It took a long time to get in. Also finding a parking spot seemed impossible. My mom and I went to look at the falls while my dad looked for a parking spot. I didn’t think that we would be able to enjoy the park altogether. However eventually we were able to find a parking space and go explore all together. We looked at the beautiful waterfall and then took a hike around the waterfall. There were so many people looking at the waterfall that it was overwhelming for me. I could understand why there was so many people there it was such a beautiful place and it was also a holiday weekend. However after we looked at the waterfall and and started on our hike, we noticed that there were not near as many people around. The hike was relaxing and enjoyable. After the hike we went to the store that they have at the park. I got some great souvenirs including a teddy bear and a snow globe. When we got back to Redding, we stopped at the Goodwill. I found some great things while shopping at Goodwill. Some of my favorites include a Barbie doll from 1997, a Barbie car, and lots of Mary-Kate and Ashley books. It was truly an adventure filled day! More adventures in Idaho

Hello, my bucket list friends! I’m back in California but I’m still excited to share my latest Idaho adventure with you. On Thursday I went to go see the Titanic exhibit at the Discovery Center of Idaho. The exhibit was very interesting it was amazing to see the artifacts that came from the Titanic. At the end of the Titanic exhibit there was a dinosaur exhibit. That was fun to see. I loved dinosaurs a lot as a kid. After the Discovery Center I went for a walk on the Boise river green belt. It was a fun walk I enjoyed looking at the river. This was a really good day filled with adventure! I hope all of you are enjoying adventures as well.

Hello Idaho 2021

Hello,my bucket list friends! As you can probably tell by title of this post I am in Idaho visiting family. I arrived last night but I’m already having a great time. Highlights so far includes spending time with family and an amazing dog named Jewels, going to Olive Garden, going to Michael’s, and playing in the snow. I’m not a big fan of snow but being up here is making me feel like a kid again.I’ve been having fun making footprints and drawing smiley faces in the snow. I’m excited to have even more adventures this week.

Starting off February with a trip to Savers

Hello, my bucket list friends! On Tuesday, I had the day off so I decided to go to Savers. When I go to Savers I head right to the book section. However since it was senior discount day there was a pretty long line outside. My mom was with me so we were able to get the discount as well. After waiting in line I went to the book section. During this thrift shopping trip, I got books from some of my favorite series such as American Girl and Candy Fairies. In addition to some great books I found two Barbie dolls to add to my collection, some art kits and a Build a Bear Fluttershy. I’ve been trying to collect all the main My Little Pony Build a Bear toys and now I only have one more left to find. At the end of this thrift trip while my mom was in line to pay I went to look at the shoes. When I was looking at the shoes in my size, I saw a pair that really caught my eye. The shoes were covered in pictures of animals! It was a very successful thrift shopping trip. I was so happy that I found more candy fairies book I’ve been looking for those books for a while! I hope all of you are having a wonderful week.

Hawaii adventure

Hello,my bucket list friends! I just wrapped up a family vacation to Hawaii. It was my first time going to Hawaii and I can’t wait to tell you about the adventures I had. Let’s get to it!

After our layover in Seattle. My parents and I flew to Hawaii. My sister had arrived the day before so we met her at the hotel. That evening we walked to a nearby shopping center for dinner. We ate at a movie theater that was also an awesome restaurant. I had a really good veggie burger there. After dinner we went to this cute little market. They sold some really great souvenirs there. The next day we went to volcanoes national park I highly recommend visiting there if you ever find yourself on the big island. There were these really awesome steam vents that were sure to warm you up and fog up your glasses at the same time. While walking on certain trails at the park it felt like I was walking in the rainforest! Another one of my favorite things about this vacation was the pools at our hotel. I love going swimming so it was awesome having access to swimming pools especially an infinity pool. Our Hotel was also right on the beach. One day we rented snorkel gear and went snorkeling on the beach. We also went on a boat to do a Manta Ray snorkel/ dive. My mom and I went snorkeling my dad and sister went diving. It was so amazing to see the huge manta rays up close. Unfortunately I did get sea sick. Another activity I highly recommend is a kayak tour called flumin Kohala. It is a very relaxing ride. Overall it was a great and much needed vacation. Oh and I almost forgot ! I got to go on a coffee tour. It was awesome!

Peppermint popcorn?!?!!?

Hello, my bucket list friends! Yesterday I went to Whole Foods on my lunch break and I saw something I just had to try, white chocolate peppermint popcorn! This fun flavor is made by Skinny Pop. I Love peppermint. I also love trying new peppermint flavored snacks. So without any more delay let’s dive on in!

When I first opened the bag ,the popcorn looked normal but upon closer inspection. I did notice little red spots on the popcorn. As for the taste I’m just gonna say it ,I love this popcorn! It has a perfect salty sweet taste. It has the right amount of peppermint without being overpowering. As you can probably guess I do recommend trying this snack.
