Going to the Jelly Belly factory and more birthday fun

Hello, my bucket list, friends! My birthday was on August 26th. On the day of my birthday I went to the Jelly belly factory and I can’t wait to tell you about it. I also have some other birthday fun to share with you, so let’s get to it.

August 21- On this day I went to a birthday dinner with my friend. Before dinner, we went to the candy store that I used to work by. I got some bubblegum cigarettes and stickers. At dinner, they brought me an ice cream sundae with sprinkles. It was a great early birthday celebration.

August 25th – The day before my birthday, I went to a party supply store after work to get a birthday button and to look for other birthday things I thought would be fun to have for my birthday. I got the birthday button, but I also got a birthday necklace and some other fun things, including a new TY Beanie Baby.

August 26th ( My Birthday !) – On this day, I went to the Jelly Belly Factory. The factory is about 90 minutes away from me. On the way, we stopped at Starbucks, where I got a free drink for my birthday! We met my sister at the Jelly Belly Factory, and we all went on the tour together. Your ticket for the tour is a hat. I had been here before but we did not have time to take the tour. I was excited to see the factory. The factory does not run on the weekends, but you still get to see the factory. I really enjoyed seeing the factory from the windows. During the tour, there was a game where you guarded a goal from flying jelly belly beans. We got the 5th highest score. After the tour we went to the store. The store was filled with so many fun things. I loved the stickers that I got there. One really fun thing that is sold at the store is big bags of Belly Flops. Belly Flops are jelly belly beans that have imperfections. I got some bags of those as well. There is also a Jelly Belly museum across the parking lot from the factory. I enjoyed the museum there were some great things in there to take pictures with. If you get a chance to visit the Jelly Belly factory, I highly recommend going. After the factory we went to lunch before heading back home. That night, I had a birthday dinner at Olive Garden. The food was good but it was a very busy night at the restaurant so I decided to get cake at the Cheesecake Factory. It was a great way to end the night.

My summer 2023 drawing!

Hello, my bucket list friends! For a while now I have been drawing a yearly summer picture in celebration of my favorite season. Earlier this month I drew this year’s picture. Most of my pictures are colorful and fun and this year’s drawing is no different. I love that this picture is full of smiles and animals. Some of the things in the picture like the boat represent things that I did this summer. I wonder what next summer’s picture will look like.

My fabulous Las Vegas vacation part 1

Hello, my bucket list friends! I crossed number 15 off my bucket list in July  by going Las Vegas. It was a pretty short trip but it was jammed packed with fun so I decided that it would be best to write two different post about this adventure. In my second post about this adventure I will talk about another bucket list item I crossed off. Without anymore introduction needed let’s get to part one of my Las Vegas adventure.

July 17th – This was the day that our adventure began. On this trip, I went with my mom and my friend. Our flight was in the evening. The flight went well, and after we landed, we checked in to our hotel. We stayed at New York New York. I wanted to stay at a classic Las Vegas hotel, and this one seemed like the perfect fit. I love how the room was decorated to fit the New York theme of our hotel. We had one activity planned for our first day, and that was to take a tour at the neon museum. The neon museum is full of old neon signs that used to be displayed around Las Vegas. My favorite sign was duck that I took a picture with. After the tour we went to the gift shop where I got some souvenirs  from our first adventure of the trip!

July 18th – This day was packed full of adventure! We started out by getting Starbucks at our hotel, and then we went to the ABC store. I loved shopping there. I got some great Las Vegas souvenirs, including a much needed water bottle because Las Vegas is very hot in the summertime. Our first big activity of the day was going on the flyover ride. This ride is one of those rides that makes it feel like you are flying over some amazing places. I enjoyed going on this ride. They had a few different ride options we did the American West ride. I would like to do some of the other rides if I go back to Las Vegas. After the ride, I bought some souvenirs from the gift shop. Our second activity of the day was the Dino safari walk through adventure. I had a lot of fun walking through this attraction and taking pictures. There was a dinosaur slide that I got to go on. I also enjoyed getting to color a dinosaur coloring page. Our next activity, after that, turned out to be one of my favorite things that we did during this trip. We took a ride on the high roller observation wheel. The views from the wheel are amazing, and when it was announced that we got to the top, it was very exciting. I highly recommend going on the high roller observation wheel if you are in Las Vegas. After all of that adventure, it was time to stop for lunch. We ate at a really good Mexican restaurant. After lunch, we went to see the real flamingos that live at the Flamingo hotel. I love flamingos, and it was cool to see them in Las Vegas! The next activity I did was going to the selfie museum with my friend. I had a lot of fun taking pictures here. I especially enjoyed taking photos in the ball pit and the bathtub. After the selfie museum, I road the zip line with my mom. It was a quick ride, but it was definitely an adventure! We had already done a lot on this day, but we had another thing to do before we went back to the hotel. We went to the Eiffel Tower observation desk at the Paris hotel. It was a great way to view Las Vegas. After that, we went back to the hotel for some rest before going out again. My friend and I went to Hershey’s Chocolate World, which was located in our hotel. There were some fun things in there to take pictures with. I also bought a magnet and a chocolate bar there. After that, we all walked around a bit and looked for a cake vending machine. we didn’t find one that night, but I was determined to find one the next day.

Last weekend of April 2023 !

Hello, my bucket list, friends! Last weekend, we wrapped up another month of 2023! This year is truly going by very fast! I’m actually happy about that because I’m excited for summer! Anyways, it’s time to talk about what I did last weekend. Here we go!

Friday – Just like last weekend, I worked the early shift on Friday. I also went to my my favorite local thrift store after I got my coffee just like I did the Friday before. I know thrift stores are always getting new things, so I was curious to see what I could find this week. With my coffee in hand, I walked into the thrift store and began to look for treasures! Some of my favorite things that I found were two Pez dispensers (including a very cute ladybug)  a package of Crayola markers , a Garfield ruler, and an American Girl doll sewing pattern. After thrift shopping, I worked the opening shift at the plant store. My shift went well, and after my shift, I went to Safeway. At Safeway, I got three Kinder Joy eggs and a lollipop that comes with a curly straw. I also got normal food items that I needed. After going to Safeway, my mom and I went on a walk at a park. I got to go on the playground and take some pictures. It was a pretty good day.

Saturday- I also worked the opening shift at work on this day. Before work, we went to the same park that we went to the day before. After that, I picked up my order at Starbucks. Then it was time to go to work. After work , I went to Target. I was excited to go there because there were these new bath bombs that I wanted to get. They are from one of my favorite bath bomb brands. I love this brand because their bath bombs have prizes inside.  In addition to the bath bombs, I got two craft kits and a Skipper Target doll. One of the craft kits that I got is summer themed. It has a few different projects that you can make. I’m excited to make some fun summer crafts. At home that night, I used one of the bath bombs. It had a cute prize inside that looked like sunglasses. I also did a craft kit that I got at Five Below that night. It was a simple painting kit, but I really enjoyed doing it. It was a kit where you get to paint your own magnet. This one was shaped like cherries. Doing this craft kit was a great way to end the day.

Sunday – On this day, I worked the closing shift at work. I started off the morning by going to get coffee and then going to church. After church but before work, we went to the hardware store. I got one of those water games. It had the word summer on it, so of course I wanted it! After the hardware store, we went to lunch. I had a really good veggie burrito. When I got dropped off for work, I had sometime before my shift started. I went to the candy store and the coffee shop before work. At  the candy store I got some candy but I also got a Pez dispenser. After getting candy and coffee, I walked to work to begin my shift. My shift went well and after work my mom and I went on a walk it was a good way to end the weekend.

My Valentine’s Day fun 2023

Hello, my bucket list friends! I hope you had a wonderful Valentine’s Day. I know Valentine’s Day can sometimes feel like an exclusive holiday but it is really a holiday that anyone can celebrate. I wrote an article about Valentine’s day on vocal media. ( You can read it HERE) This year I had a great time celebrating Valentine’s day. I had the day off from work and I took it easy. I published a blog post about my weekend. ( You can read it HERE) I also decided to do an art kit. I have a lot of art kits in my room just waiting for me to use them. Yesterday, I decided to do an art kit where you paint a butterfly magnet. I enjoyed doing this simple craft kit. I find painting to be very relaxing and I really like the way that my butterfly magnet looked when I was done. However, the big highlight of my day was going to to dinner with my mom and some friends at my favorite local Mexican restaurant. The food was amazing as always and I really enjoyed spending time with some fun people. It was one of the best Valentine’s days that I have ever had.

I tried Nitro Pepsi

Hello, my bucket list, friends! Sometimes, I see interesting things while I’m at the grocery store that I want to try and review. Nitro Pepsi is one of those items. I’ve had the can sitting in my refrigerator for a while now, and last night, I decided to finally try it and review it. Typically, when it comes to soda, I drink it straight from the can. However, when I looked at the instructions online, it said to pour the soda into a tall glass with no ice. It also said to turn the can completely upside-down when you are pouring it. I followed the directions so I could give an accurate review. I also set up my phone on the counter and recorded the process of me pouring and trying the soda. With all that being said, let’s get to the actual review part. I had a lot of fun pouring the soda. It was pretty normal at first, but when the foam appeared, it made me really happy. You can see my smile in the screenshots I took from the video. It was really fun to pour the soda and watch the foam come to the top. I had to sip it at one point so it would not overflow. As for the taste of the soda, it was smooth and very easy to drink. I drank it a lot faster than I usually drink soda. It had that wonderful cola taste that soda drinkers love. I highly recommend trying Nitro Pepsi at least once, especially if you are a soda fan. I do have to say that my favorite part of Nitro Pepsi was pouring it into the glass. Watching the foam just made me really happy.

Thanks for reading my review of Nitro Pepsi .

Toy store fun on my lunch break

Hello, my bucket list, friends! Thursday, on my lunch break, I walked down to a local toy store. My new job still allows me to walk to the toy store, and Thursday, on my lunch break, that is what I did. I did not really have anything in particular in mind, but I knew I would find some some fun things there. I was curious to see if there were any Barbie color reveal items, but I didn’t see any. I did see some Disney Princess color reveal toys that I considered getting but the price was more then I was willing to pay so I made a mental note to look for it at other stores to see if I could get it at a lower price. However, I did end up buying four items that I’m excited to tell you about. One item I got was a crayon with many colors. The crayon is made up of different colors of hearts. To use a certain color, you have to move that color of heart to the bottom of the stack. I also got some stickers shaped like sunglasses. Each pair of sunglasses has a different city’s skyline printed in the lenses of the glasses. The two other items I got are a Disney Pez dispenser and a package of two bracelets that can be decorated with the flat Lego blocks that come in the package. Going to the toy store was a fun activity to do on my lunch break!

The hard stuff

Every year has its hard moments, and this year was no different. In January, I said goodbye to my cat Sherri it was very painful. Time has helped to heal me, but it was a very difficult thing to go through.

Walking away from my career in childcare due to my health , I’m so proud of myself for making this choice. It was a hard conclusion to come to, but I’m glad I did. ( You can read about it HERE and HERE ) My mentel health has improved since I walked away from my career. I’m hoping and praying that 2023 will be the year that my voice acting career really comes together.

All things considered, I have to say that it was an overall good year, and I hope 2023 is an even better year!
