life at the end of February 2026

Hello, my bucket list friends! I know I’ve been going back and forth between writing about this year and last year but I decided to write my two main posts about February back to back. I feel like I’m getting more caught up that way by finishing the main part of my February posts first. However after this post I will write another post about August . Now ,that you know my blogging schedule let’s dive into this blog post about life at the end of February.

2/21- On this day I went to Safeway. I got some Barbie surprise eggs. These eggs have cool Barbie themed items inside. I also got a coloring craft kit there. I also went to Walgreens I got some cute duck toys and a squishy toy craft kit. This was a good February day . It was also a beautiful sunny day.

2/22 – I did two art projects on this day! The first project was a simple coloring craft kit. I had fun coloring a cute wooden caterpillar. I love that there were different patterns to color on the craft and not just circles. I love how colorful this craft looked when I was done. This was a very simple craft but I really enjoyed it. The 2nd craft kit that I did was a foam ice cream craft. My favorite part of this kit was the sparkly sprinkles. I had fun sticking them on the ice cream project. Later that day I went to Safeway again and I got a fun package of Easter stickers. I’m happy that I had time to be creative on this day.

2/24 – On this day I went to work. My highlight of my work day was getting to have a cannonball drink. However, After work I finally did something that I had been wanting to do for a long time. I finally applied to be on reality TV. I have no idea if my application will go anywhere. However, I feel good that I was finally brave enough to record a short video and submit it. Even if I never hear back I’m glad I did this.

2/26 on this day I went to the mall and I got a much needed massage. I also went shopping at Claire’s. My favorite thing that I got at Claire’s was a hat with bows on it. I also got some bracelets and earrings there .While I was at the mall I went to The Hallmark store and I got a bunch of stickers. Hallmark is a great place to find cute stickers. I also went to the Target that was attached to the mall. I got some JoyRide candy , erasers shaped like different kinds of food, and more. I also went to Taco Bell in the food court. I put my order under the name Alice because I’m a huge Alice Cooper fan and sometimes it’s fun to use a different name. This was a really good day.

2/27 – This day I got to do something really awesome. I got to see my amazing friend Amy. We went to a bunch of different places including a book store , a toy store , CVS, and Togos. I bought some fun items on this day including a coloring book that came with crayons and stickers, a sheet of animal stickers, a pack of Easter toys, a set of bracelets and more. However, the best part of the day was getting to spend time with Amy. It is a lot harder to spend time with your friends than it should be. I love it when I get time to see a friend so this day was a great day.

2/28 – This was the last day of the month. I went to Walgreens I got some fun Easter Items including a pack of Easter toys and some puffy Peeps stickers. After that I went to Trader Joes. I got a box of my mango bars but I also go some stickers and a coloring page. I ended this short month on a high note.

Thanks for reading about more of mt February moments.

Summertime sleepover fun

Summer sleepover !

July 10th – On this day my amazing friend picked me up from work. Our first adventure was a trip to 7-11. We each got a Slurpee and then it was on to Taco Bell before going back to the house. It was a beautiful summer night and we got to go swimming! I love going swimming in the day but there is just something so special about going swimming during the nighttime. It was so amazing to go on a nighttime swim with one of my favorite people. It was truly a wonderful summer night. The next day I had work but before that my friend and I went shopping at Hobby Lobby. This was my first time going to Hobby Lobby and I loved it. There were so many good deals . I was so happy that there were a lot of 4th of July items still available and they were on sale. I got a good amount of 4th of July items at at really great price. I also got a Lisa Frank art kit , a package of shaped straws and more. My friend and I both had a great time there we also got coffee together before I had to go to work. I wish the sleepover would have been longer but other than that it was pretty much prefect.

My Big Sur summer adventure 2025

Hello, my bucket list friends. In early June, I got to go on an overnight trip with my wonderful friend. It was so much fun and I can’t wait to tell you more about it so let’s get to it!

June 4th – I had this day off, and I was blessed with an opportunity to go on an overnight trip to Big Sur with my friend. On the way to our hotel, we stopped at state park that had some beautiful views. It was a great place to take pictures. When we arrived to check in to our hotel we saw a very fun summer sand sculpture. There was also a huge chair that was perfect for taking pictures.  Also there was a store and I got some souvenirs there. One of the big highlights was that by the restaurant, there were wooden chairs in the river.  it was  relaxing to sit in chairs that were anchored in the river.

June 5th – On this day, we explored Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park. We went hiking through some truly beautiful scenery. I highly recommend going to this amazing state park if you ever get a chance. There was so much to explore here. We also went to a little store that had some great souvenirs. On the way back from our trip, we stopped at the Bixby bridge to take some pictures. This was a great little trip.

Memorial Day weekend 2025

Hello, my bucket list, friends! Summer is almost here! I’m very excited to start my summer bucket list game on June 1st. This weekend was Memorial Day weekend. It is an important time to remember and honor those who died to protect the people of America. I took this weekend off from work due to the stress of working on holiday weekends. I had an overall relaxing time off, including spending a day with my friend. I can’t wait to tell you more about it, so let’s get to it!

Friday 5/23/2025 – On this day, I went to work before my three days off began. It was an employee shopping day where we get a larger discount than we normally do. I got a few things, but my favorites are a summer coloring book and a package of glow sticks.

Saturday 5/24/2025 – I spent this day with my friend. We had a great time catching up with each other. We went to the Dollar Tree and Target along with a bunch of other places. We even went on two walks! At the Dollar Tree, I got some summer decorations, bath bombs with prizes, beads , a Barbie dot to dot book, a surprise toy, summer cups, and more. At Target I got two summer themed duck toys and a craft kit. I also ate way more junk food than I should have. It was a great day.

Sunday 5/25/ 2025 – On this day, I went to church, and there was a wonderful BBQ afterward. I had a great time being social and eating some good food. I also enjoyed some time outside in the sunshine. It was a good day.

Monday 5/26/2025 – Today was Memorial Day. Words can not express how thankful I am to live in America and how thankful I am to those who fought for our freedom.

I stayed home most of the day. However, I did go out to get coffee, but the traffic was so bad due to people coming back from the beach! It makes me so mad when people insist on creating horrible traffic on the weekends and holidays during the summertime. I got my coffee, but I had to sit in unnecessary traffic.

So that was my Memorial Day weekend. I hope all of you had a blessed weekend.

Thrift shopping, fun with friends, stickers, and so much more !

Hello, my bucket list, friends! April is going by so fast, and due to that, I decided to do one big blog post to get caught up on this month’s adventures! I’ve already had two friend hangouts this month, and that is rare for me, but I welcome it very much! I also went to Savers, got some stickers and other items from Micheals delivered, got two 1990s Barbie dolls, and did some at work shopping. However, that’s not all I have to write about, so with all that being said, let’s dive into my April 2025 adventures so far.

April 3rd – On this day, I went to Safeway on my lunch break, and I got some of those surprise capsules that have foam animals  inside. At work, I got a Hello Kitty chalk set that comes with a stencil. It was a pretty normal day, but it was a good day to get some fun items.

April 4th –  This was another day of at work shopping. I got two fun Squishmallow building sets, a fluffy bunny notebook, a bag of bouncy balls, a bunny garland ,a hairbrush ,mints, and roller chalk. It was a good day to get a few more fun items from work.

April 5th – On this day I got a delivery from Instacart. I ordered some fun items from Michaels, including two sticker books and a little art set. I also got some sport stickers and a Squishmallow slime set. I like like being able to get items delivered while I am at work. Getting some fun items delivered made my work day a little more fun!

April 8th – On this day I did two of my favorite things. I saw a friend and I went thrift shopping. This friend hangout was not planned but my friend happened to be in the same area as my work. I worked a different shift than I normally do so my lunch was earlier than normal. My friend and I went to Subway on my lunch break . It was wonderful to get to spend sometime with one of my very favorite people. Having a good conversation with my friend was something that I really needed. It is so easy for life to get busy and that can make it is hard to slow down and enjoy the best things in life like having a conversation with a friend. Having lunch with my friend on this day was truly a blessing. After work I took an Uber to Savers. I had not been to Savers in a while so I was happy to get the chance to go again. However ,it was a little overwhelming when I got there because it was so busy. It was a weekday but I live in a very crowded area so even the weekdays can be very busy. However, I was still able to get some great items even with all the crowds. My favorite item that I got was a vintage Barbie book. I also got a Barbie doll , a Squishmallow that still had a tag, a Squishmallow clip, a bag that had some stickers in it, two art kits, a large sticker book , and a shirt. It was an overall good trip to Savers but I hope I can go to a less crowded place the next time I got thrift shopping.

April 9th – I had this day off. I met another one of my favorite people for lunch. It had been a while since I had seen this friend so I was very excited to get to catch-up with her and to have some good food together. While we were walking around after lunch, I saw a doll store. I just had to go inside. I got two 90s Barbie dolls that were still in the box. I also got some doll clothes and some American Girl stickers! It was a really great day off. I wish I could hang out with my friends every week.

April 10th – On this day I got a Crayola Colourwhirl . I had seen this online and I really wanted one. I was not planning on getting one on this day. However the hardware store that I was in just happened to have them. I got the green one because green is my favorite color. I’m happy that I got one!

Thank you for reading about some of my April adventures!

A fun friend day in February

Hello, my bucket list, friends! Even though I have not crossed off any bucket list items this month, I consider this month to be a successful one because I got to see a friend. As I get closer to the middle of my 30s it gets seem like it gets more difficult to see my friends and to be social in general so if I get to see a friend one day out of the month I feel successful in being a somewhat social person. Now that I have made a very long introduction to this post, let’s get to the post. Here we go

February 11th 2025

I had work on this day but I left my house early so I would have time with my friend before it was time in clock in. we met at my favorite local thrift store because we both enjoy thrift shopping. I got some toys and art supplies. After thrift shopping we went to a local coffee shop and we had a good conversation while we enjoyed our drinks. Before we went to lunch, we stopped by one of my favorite toy stores. I got a package that had surprise toys in it, and I also got a box with three squishy toys in it. After the toy store we went to lunch. lunch was really good and we also got to talk to each other more before I had to go to work. I’m so thankful that I got to spend time with my friend!

Thank you so much for reading!

A new phone , thrift shopping, going to the movies and more

Hello, my bucket list, friends! Well, I’m now writing about the month of September. I’m going to try to get through my September posts with pretty quickly. It was a pretty normal month that did not have  very many highlights. However, there are some things that happened in September that I would like to talk about, so let’s get to the first post about September 2024

9/5 – I did some at work shopping on this day. There were some really good clearance deals, including on Squishmallows! I got a very cute squishmallow that I had been wanting. I also got some 4th of July items and other summer items. I did a lot of at work shopping this month. However it would take a while to talk about all of it so I’m probably just going to write here so just know I got a lot of cool stuff at work this month including toys, stickers, and more!

9/7 and 9/8 – This was the weekend I got a new phone! I loved my Samsung Galaxy flip 3, but It was getting old and was not working well, so I got the Samsung Galaxy flip 6, and I love it! It can be stressful switching phones, but it was so worth it. I love my new phone and I’m so happy that I got it.

9/10 – This was a really great day. I went shopping at my favorite local thrift store. I bought a lot of fun items, including a hair bow, a little Squishmallow, glittery letter stickers, and a flamingo icecube tray. My favorite item that I got was a Barbie from 2004 that was still in the box! I was so happy when I saw her. I also went to one of my favorite toy stores on this day. I got some stickers and a really great squishy toy. I also went to my favorite local coffee shop. My friend met me there after a while. It was so good to see her. We went to the toy store and I showed her the squishy toys and she got one and I got another one. It was a really great day!

9/11 – Today, I went to the movies with my parents. We saw the movie Reagan. It was such a good movie. It was long, but the movie was so good it didn’t even feel like a long movie. It was very interesting and both my parents and I enjoyed it. I also saw my friend at the movies. We were going to see different movies, but it was so cool to see her two days in a row.

Thank you for reading about some of my September adventures!
