Oxnard road road trip August 2025

Hello, my bucket list friends! I’m excited to share another post about my summer adventures with you. In early August I went on a road trip to Oxnard to go to the Dallas Cowboys training camp. I also went on other adventures during my road trip so with all that being said let’s get to it.

August 3rd 2025 – This was the day that our road trip started . We made a stop in Solvang on the way to our hotel. We ate here and did a little bit of shopping. It is super cute town and I would love to go back sometime to explore it more.

August 4th 2025 – On this day we to the Ronald Reagan presidential library. It is on my bucket list to visit every presidential library and this was the 2nd one that I got to visit. While we were there was an exhibit on the dead see scrolls and it was truly amazing . I got to see some of the scrolls including part of the book of Psalms. After seeing the exhibit on the dead sea scrolls. We went to see the presidential library. I had so much fun looking around the library. My favorite part was getting to explore the airplane . I also enjoyed taking pictures here. There were so many great displays I recommend going here if you ever the chance. This was not our only adventure on the day we also did some exploring in Ventura , went shopping at Hobby Lobby and went to the beach. That night I went swimming in the hotel pool it was the perfect way to end this day of vacation.

August 5th – This was the day that we went to the Dallas Cowboys training camp. my mom and I were in a VIP area where we got a good view of the practice . I liked shopping at the store they have there. I got a set of stickers and a pin. There were snacks and drinks in the VIP area so that was really nice. There was even sugar free soda. I enjoyed watching practice and I’m glad I got to got this year.

August 6th – On this day we drove back home. I was sad that my vacation was over but I was happy to see my cat.

Thank you for reading about this road trip adventure.

A craft faire, a light show, and my first NFL game

Hello, my bucket list friends! I did some exciting stuff in December that I did not get around to blogging about, so I’m going to write about it now, so let’s get to it

December 7th, 2024

On this day, I went to one of my favorite local events that happens every year. That event is the holiday craft faire. There is a vendor that has the cutest soaps. I love the soap that has toys inside. I got a few soaps that had toys in them, but close to that booth, I saw another one that I knew I had to check out! This booth was full of pens, key chains, straw toppers, and more! I got some pens ,a key chain, and some straw covers. I alao got coffee while I was at the event.  I very much enjoyed the 2024 craft faire, and im looking forward to going again this year.

December 10th, 2024

On this day I went to Fantasy of lights. This is a local event that started when i was young. I have loved going to this fun drive-through light show ever since it started. I don’t go every year and  unfortunately the prices have increased a lot over the years. However, I really wanted to go, so I paid the high price because I knew I would be upset if I had to miss this event due to money. Honestly, I’m glad I decided to pay the high price because I had a great time going to this event with my parents. I got to see my favorite light displays from when I was a kid, but I also got to see some new displays. I loved the beautiful light up flowers that they had. I’m so blessed that I got to enjoy this year’s event! I loved seeing the bear climb the candy cane again!

December 12 2024

On the day I went to my first NFL game. I was given tickets and I was so thankful! I took a friend who also had never been to an NFl game before. Due to rain there was a bad accident that caused lots of traffic that made us very late. We got there at halftime. However, we still managed to have a great time! We got some great pictures and had some food.  It was so cool seeing a game in person since I have watched many games on TV before. I hope I get to go to another game sometime.

Thanks for reading about the fun events I went to in December 2024!

Texas Vacation part 3

Hello, my bucket list friends! Welcome to part 3 of my Texas vacation blog posts . (Click here to read part 1)  (Click here to read part 2 )  This post will be a little on the shorter side because I will be covering the nighttime activity where I crossed two items off the list in the next post . So with all that said let’s dive on in to part 3 !

Texas Vacation part 3

Tuesday October 16th was our last full day in Texas before we flew home on Wednesday. We had two big things planned one daytime and one nighttime activity . Our day time activity was a self guided tour of AT&T stadium where the Dallas Cowboys play . My mom is a huge Dallas Cowboys fan so we had to make sure we included a trip to the stadium while we were in Texas . I have to start out by saying that this Stadium is amazing ! Even if you are not a football fan it is worth checking out . The best part of taking a tour is that you get to go down on the field ! You can take pictures and even play football . They hand out footballs for you to use . I had a fun time playing catch with my mom on a real NFL football field ! I also enjoyed the press conference room, It’s was cool to stand on the stage like you were giving a press conference ! We also got to see the locker rooms of both the players and cheerleaders. It was cool seeing all the names on the lockers . It turns out that there is a cheerleader named Christina. It was fun standing next to her locker pretending that it was mine !  I love going to gift shops when I go somewhere fun and this place has a huge store ! There was so much stuff to see it was pretty amazing . I got some cool Dallas Cowboy buttons . Overall it was a really great place to visit and I recommend going here if you get the chance too . That’s part 3 thank you for reading!

Rock on – Christina Epperly
