Valentine’s day arts and crafts

Hello, my bucket list friends ! I’m back at it with the craft kits . This time I did Valentine’s day craft kits in celebration of the holiday ! Here we go!

Valentine’s day arts and crafts

Valentine’s day necklace kit – I got this kit at Michael’s and  I thought that it was pretty unique! It came with fun Valentine’s day beads, string and two pieces of plastic to use as a clasp for the necklace. I had a fun time putting the beads on the string .I couldn’t figure out how to get the clasp to work correctly so I just tied the necklace the old fashioned way. It worked great and it was pretty easy to slip it on over my head . I would recommend this craft kit.

Cat pillow – At Target I got very simple but very cute craft kit . It came with a very cute cat pillow and some markers. I don’t think that the markers were fabric markers but they worked really well. It was easy ,fun and relaxing to color the little cat. I hope I get to do more craft kits like this !

Ceramic LOVE painting – This kit was a simple painting kit. It came with a ceramic love sculpture ,a paint brush and three colors of paint. I liked the way the letters popped out from the background of the sculpture. I really enjoyed painting this sculpture and I was happy with the way it turned out.

Three fun craft kits !

Hello,my bucket list friends ! As many of you know I love being creative. Sometimes when I go shopping I like to buy fun arts and crafts kits. I have a quite a few of these stocked up. I’m really glad that I have all those kits because when I get into a creative mood I don’t have to look hard for something to do. Now without further delay. Let me tell you about three of these kits I recently completed.

Three fun craft kits !

I was in a creative mood so I chose three craft kits from my shelf to do. The first on was a foam sticker seen. This kit did not include any instructions just a picture to follow. I put the stickers all together to make a very cute and fun picture. I didn’t follow the picture exactly I just let my creativity flow in some places and I was very happy with the results. The 2nd kit I completed was a simple painting project.  I painted a cute duck it didn’t take long to complete and I was happy with how it turned out. The 3rd one was a Lisa Frank poster that you colored with markers. I found this one a little difficult to complete because the colors didn’t stick to the poster very well and the glitter on the poster made it hard to color. I waited till the next day to finish it .Even with those problems it turned out cute and I was happy with it but I probably won’t get another glitter poster kit again. So, there you have it three more fun projects completed. I’ll be sure to write another post when I do more projects ! Rock On – Christina Epperly

Three fun Target crafts

Hello, My bucket list friends ! I love buying little craft kits from the Target dollar bins and I finally had some time to do a few of them. I had a fun time doing these little projects and I can’t wait to tell you all about it. Here we go !

Three fun Target crafts

The first craft kit I tried was painting a wooden snail. The kit came with three colors of paint blue, green and orange. It was a quick and easy project but it was a lot fun to paint the very cute snail. I added some dots to my snail to give it whimsical look .  I was very happy with the way the snail turned out. I recommend this craft kit.

The 2nd craft kit I did was a paint your own clothes pins kit. this cute kit had three different clothes pins with different food shapes at the top. This paint kit was similar to the snail it came with three paint colors. It was also a quick and fun craft. The clothes pins open and close just fine but I have not use them to hold anything yet.  This is also another kit that I recommend .

The last craft kit I did was different then the the first two. This is a tissue paper project that mimics stained glass. In addition to the kit you also need to have a pair of scissors and a hole puncher. To get started you had to take the snail off the plastic it was on and stick it on to a special piece of paper that was in the kit and then you had pull the paper back to reveal the sticky side. When I stuck the snail on the paper the top part of the snail got a little smashed. I also had to cut the paper to pull it back because I have very short nails. Then it was time to decorate the snail. I sprinkled the tissues paper on to the sticky side of the snail. I didn’t have a hole punch handy so I stuck the string to the sticky part of the snail. I cut around the snail like the directions said but then I stuck the snail to the part on the paper that I had pealed off . The I cut around the Snail again. I liked the way it turned out. Just to be clear I didn’t follow all of the directions exactly but I would still recommend this kit. It just takes more time and planning then the other kits.
